    Beautiful food in a very nice setting. However we found the restaurant very cold we had to sit with our jackets on and after eatting our savoury food and moving onto our cakes some of them were finished and they did not get replaced which was very disappointing, there should not be a 2.15 sitting if your not going to be able to sample the things you want , was really looking forward to this as we heard great things however this was a bit of a let down at the end , we were enjoying our afternoon and did not want to rush as we were not made aware thus could happen

    My friends ordered extra drinks and it took several attempts for someone to get the card machine for them to pay for them. Also the area was very cold, it was a frosty day but we were all shivering and a few other tables asked to move

    The afternoon tea was amazing. Served as buffet style there were lots of amazingly fresh sandwiches, cakes, savouries etc. to chose and as many as you liked. The staff were very attentive and although the restaurant was very busy the staff were amazing.

    From our arrival we were greeted by a lovely smiley face. The young lady took us through to the dining room and pointed us in the direction of sandwiches, cakes and scones then were showed to our table. It was busy people coming and going. Everything was fresh and delicious and would like to go again. We ate our fill and loved the idea we could pick and choose what we wanted as was all clearly marked as to what they were. So much better than the normal 3 tier plates with foodstuffs you wouldn't know what you were eating til you bit into it. The foods were replenished as quickly as they were being taken from the plates on the tables. Lots of choice and all very nice. Well done to all the staff. You made a last minute lunch more enjoyable. Thank you.

    Beautiful display of food! Warm welcome, a huge selection of delicious sweet treat , much less savoury options. Lots of tea on offer. I really enjoyed my afternoon tea bigger plates would be nice a couple of sandwich fingers and the saucer was full! Overall delicious!!! Would definitely recommend and would go again.

    Food that was available was delicious and beautifully presented however our booking toward the end of available afternoon tea bookings was spoiled by the lack of availability and selection of foods. Staff advised that after the last booking enters, food is "run down". Although I understand that foods cannot be continuously replenished, it would have been good to have the opportunity to try all these foods. By the time we got to the dessert table there were only 2 tarts left to choose from. Knowing this, we would now only ever book an early afternoon tea.

    Service was poor, asked for tea for two, came out with one tea and one coffee how difficult is it to get that order wrong When the other pot of tea arrived we then had to ask for cups for our tea, how can you forget to give us cups for the tea, also the length of time to get any drink was very poor Sandwiches were clearly lying out for a length of time as the bread was hard When the new sandwiches were put out they were fresh but we were subjected to the ones going hard first

    Food could have been filled up and the jam and cream for the scones had to be scraped out. We had a deal that included processco or cocktail. We asked for tea/coffee to start then no one came near us again. Had to try and catch someone’s attention

    Fab selection of savoury and sweet, all presented beautifully. Orders for tea/coffee not taken straight away and had to ask for the cocktail but staff were very friendly and promptly cleared the table. Cocktail was alright, I think the Prosecco would’ve been a better choice. All in all a lovely afternoon and I would definitely recommend.

    Went for afternoon tea, Scones were very dry and broke apart. Only one person on the bar, wait time for drinks was 20mins. Food was ok not a great selection. So glad we didn’t pay full price.

    Both my friend and I were visiting for our birthdays. We were certainly not disappointed! The staff were lovely, attentive and very helpful. The food…. amazing and plentiful.     Visited on Saturday night celebrating my fiancé’s birthday. Overall I would not come back to this restaurant. Table booked for 7pm we arrived at 7 by 8.30 we were still waiting in our main course. We complained and out food ( Steak ) was brought out. The steak was not good very chewy and grissly. As it was now after 9pm we did not have time for a sweet. The service was shocking sitting an hour and a half waiting on our main course. Would certainly not recommend this place.

    We were running late due to the weather. I called the hotel to advise we were going to be late. Erin the food and beverage manager was very helpful and said she could keep our table until we arrived. Said we could rebook if we weren’t going to make it. We made it and were delighted with the lovely afternoon tea we got. The staff were very polite and helpful. Highly recommended

    We stayed for dinner and breakfast, the staff first of all are exceptional, very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent and service spot on. We sat for over an hour and never feel rushed and they attended to all our needs. Breakfast was quality, selection for breakfast was massive and all very fresh. Toast, tea and coffee was served at the table and again very fresh Overall we will be back. Superb visit all round.

    I had booked a table in the restaurant but we were seated in the bar area (including the limited bar food menu and not the a la carte one I was expecting) as there seemed to be a function on in the restaurant. Would have been good to know this beforehand! The waitress had my order wrong but the issue was dealt with very politely and efficiently by her colleague. Overall it was an ok enough experience but disappointing that it didn’t live up to my expectations following my previous visits to this restaurant - especially as it was my guest’s first visit to Glasgow.

    I received an unlimited afternoon tea voucher as a gift and it did not disappoint. Friendly, helpful staff, plenty of choices in savoury and sweet goods, lovely decoration and surroundings and high quality compared to some afternoon tea deals. You can choose your own items as it is laid out in a buffet style which means you always get exactly what you want. Tea, coffee and jugs of water were provided and quickly replenished. Thank you so much to the hardworking waiting and kitchen staff, we really enjoyed it! Highly recommend the haggis and lorne sausage rolls and the strawberry tarts.
