The Granary Square Brasserie
The brasserie buzz through breakfast, morning coffee, lunch and cream teas in the afternoon. Throughout the day the lounge area will be perfect to relax with a drink or for informal meetings with luxurious vintage leather chairs and low brass tables. As the sun sets and we get ready for dinner, the DJ set will begin, and cocktails will flow.
The restaurant is beautiful with cut glass pendant lights, banquettes upholstered in silk and velvet and exotic kilim rugs. The striking central bar, located in the heart of the room, is perfect to survey the scene and enjoy an aperitif cocktail.

We live in Northamptonshire. We first visited at Christmas time when the restaurant and outside were beautifully decorated. We visited again on 15th March and enjoyed a lovely lunch in the stunning surroundings of the restaurant. The food was lovely and staff were attentive. We will certainly visit again
Food was obviously reheated and not reheated properly resulting in stale rock solid pancakes. I have to say though the staff were very good and very apologetic, obviously implemented tougher quality control and voluntarily took my drink off the bill. I think I was unlucky.
Great food, service a bit slow when busy but staff all very nice and helpful. Beautiful decor.
Great food, service was friendly and attentive
Catching up with a friend and we had a lovely afternoon. Quality service from staff and as always, the food presented beautifully and tasting so fresh.
Nice brunch. Lovely decor and friendly staff. Quick service and the bellini's are delicious.
We went for brunch and the whole experience was spotless. My guests were really impressed by the decor and ambience and my partner is looking to going back again for breakfast.
They were also very accommodating with my 16-month old son.
Fantastic food and great service . I love this restaurants interior and it’s location.
A great evening with friends and our server (whose name, sadly, I cannot recall) was fantastic and attentive.
One meal was undercooked. Chicken embarrassing for a business lunch.
Always a very good meal and experience. Good for a business lunch.
What a find! A great building and surroundings topped off the evening of super food and service. Will be back for sure!
There were four of us and three of us got our desserts at the same time but one had to wait 15 minutes (after everyone had eaten theirs but tried to slow down) .
A gratis cup of coffee / tea was offered as recompense and only to the person who had to wait longest for their desserts.
Food good but expensive (West End prices).
Good food with an interesting twist. I had Osso Bucco Shepherds Pie which was different. Decent and fairly priced wine list. Decor was pleasant and staff very friendly. Just under £100 for 2 with 4 glasses of wine, so not totally unreasonable for London.
Food was extremely good and staff very attentive. An amazing experience overall.
As usual in these places, low ceilings and lots of people plus too much bangs my music made conversation difficult.
Food was good,though!
Lovely restaurant, great food and fantastic atmosphere and service.
Even though we were in the side room and the waiter was only seeing to 5 out of the 6 tables there we had to wait a long time to get service each time we needed it.
Such a shame as well that they have removed the vegetarian shepherds pie from the menu as was one of the only substantial mains that they have there for veggies.
Rib eye steak was nothing special for the price and would not order again.
Always a lovely evening, perfect food and delicious cocktails ❤️
The Granary is a great place for lunch or dinner. It has a busy, buzzy atmosphere. The food is superb and the service equally great - maybe a little too fast! Highly recommend it.
We dined here on Saturday evening. We wanted to go somewhere near to Kings Place (we were attending a book festival there) but which didn’t have a ‘pub’ like atmosphere. The Granary was superb. The food was excellent and the service was impeccable! We will go back
The restaurant was great but food service and quality was very poor, especially for the prices.
The started and main course were not warm enough, £ 18,00 for a piece of salmon and three pieces of asparagus ( nothing special about the dish). My friend main was also a small portion of something else. I don't think the sizes of the courses are worthy the prices.
Place is great, as is the food. The welcome was awful. Very busy but was a poor start. Took ages to get a drink. Overall the food was excellent and things improved once we worked out who our server was.
I love this place and the service is usually great. On this occasion the waitress leant up against the wall when talking to us, and we had to repeat things a few times as she didn’t seem to understand a few things we asked her. The restaurant was very busy and noisy which detracted from the usual lovely ambiance.
It took 40 minutes and 3 reminders for our tea and coffee order. The food took ages to come and when it did it came within 10 minutes of each other. Understand it was busy but felt like bad service. The only thing that came fast was the bill!
This was one of the worst restaurant experiences I have had in quite some time. It all started to go wrong on arrival when there were too many people taking coats, telling us our table wasn't ready, then someone else told us it was but whole performance was an irritating 10 minute fiasco. The waiter was useless - he hadn't tried anything on the menu and was clearly struggling to manage all his tables. Our starters were, in fairness, quite good, so we thought we'd turned a corner but no, it wasn't to be. We had just about fished the starters when the flustered waiter started lifting the plates because our mains were coming out. Why they were coming out before we'd actually finished the starters I don't know but nothing makes me angrier than being fed one course immediately after I've just put a knife and fork down. The problem was, we were four and only two mains arrived, along with all the sides... we had to ask the waiter where the other mains were and after a bit of investigating he told us they were on their way. 10 minutes later they still hadn't arrived and we had to get a manager over. It was nearly 20 minutes before we all had food on our table and even then there was a suspicion that one of the risottos had been left on the pass for 'a few minutes' while the other one was being prepared. The manager was very apologetic and didn't charge us for a bottle of wine but the whole experience was so messy and disorganised that I will not be back and I wouldn't recommend anyone else wastes their money here!
Really nice evening. Great food and service. Nice friendly staff. Love the decor and style too.
Nice looking place but very over priced. My food was lukewarm when it was served.
Staff are always fantastic and great food!
Outstanding, great fun, great service, great ambience - love it. Food was wonderful and we really enjoyed our time, thanks
This place looks beautiful but we had to wait an eternity first to get our drinks and then for our food to arrive. There seemed to be many staff buzzing around but there are clearly still teething problems as service was poor and people had long waits for anything ordered. It’s a shame as the decor is great and menu is good.
Always busy, in a new commercial hotspot but actually the food is still pretty good and not terrible value. You are never going to go there for fine dining but a buzzy social it's a great choice.
Really nice venue. Stake was very overcooked which was a shame
Charming restaurant - everything very good (service and fishcakes particularly!)
I went with 4 friends. The staff were very helpful and resolved our minor issues immediately. We all enjoyed our brunch dishes
