A sprawling lobby and bar with only a handful of people. Confused guests asking where everybody went. Elegant, but empty hallways. These are the scenes CNN observed inside the Trump International Hotel in Washington, DC, this month as the once-humming destination confronts a new reality without its namesake in the White House.
Actually ur confirmation did not work at the restaurant and we had to book directly. It good place.

What a let down after hearing great things about this place. Dunes outside on the patio which had no view at all and no music, just noise from the air conditioning vents. Service was fine but the food was fair a best with steaks more like that from an “Outback Steakhouse” rather than anything fancy. A typical tourist hotel restaurant which was good value on the Monday night special but I wouldn’t return, even on a Monday.
Fantastic food and great service from Dennis! Two amazing steaks cooked perfectly and my daughter loved the tempura prawns!

The feed was okay and the service was good. But the restaurant is looking very old and outdated with a cold atmosphere. We went in the evening and we just found the restaurant to be a bit dark. The steak selection was good and the meat was well prepared. But that's about it, the starters were nothing special and not too exciting. At start we got a complementary chicken liver pate and some bread, but it was not appealing and the bread was some basic low quality bread. Maybe something more authentic baked by the restaurant would have been better.
I took my wife there to celebrate her birthday. We had a great meal, very well prepared. We definitely plan on returning.
We’re on Holiday here in Dubai and the restaurant is in the hotel complex, we booked before we arrived based on the positive reviews, we were not disappointed, in fact our expectations were far outweighed by the amazing food. At 55 years old, and eating all over the world, the steak I had was the best I’ve ever had. Fact. Simple to recommend this little gem of a Grill, we will be back regardless of where we stay in Dubai in the future
Too dark and with a noice, like a signal, all the time, very irritating.
The best steak house in the UAE for sure. Superb South African steak, superb atmosphere, Friendly, business and not too formal. I felt at home and the service was immaculate.. will be back again all the way from Abu Dhabi only for sake of this wonderful restaurant.
The restaurant was empty. The steaks were tasty but not great. I grill a much better ribeye steak from Costco. Lol.
We went to The Grill to taste ‘real authentic’ South African food and that is exactly what we got. Great service was the cherry on the top!
The quality of the steaks was rather dissapointing! Service great and the surroundings fun. People are allowed to smoke on the terrace.
Great food shocking service, we were offered to go back a second time but decided it wasn't worth it. Chicken and ribs were good, walked out after waiting half an hour for desert.
