Very enjoyable meal on Monday. However, vegetarian options are very limited these days it use to be better a while ago. I had the tagine which was very tasty but this was the only option for the mains, the frittata might has been too small as it was lower in price. There were 7 non vegetarian options which I could not have. I also noticed that there were no vegetarian options on the Valentine’s Day menu !!!!! Please try and cater for vegetarians I have been coming to the Grange for many years

Dear Colin, Thank you so much for your review—we’re delighted to hear that you enjoyed your meal at The Grange this week. However, I’m sorry to hear that you found the vegetarian options on our current menu limited. We’re currently working on our new spring menu and will certainly take your feedback into account as we review our range of dishes. I also appreciate your comments regarding our Valentine’s menu. As it is designed to be a special sharing experience, we regret that we’re unable to accommodate all dietary requests within that offering. However, our daily menu remains available for guests looking to celebrate Valentine’s Day with us. We look forward to welcoming you back to The Grange Restaurant at Hearing Dogs for Deaf People soon. Warm wishes, Angela.

We waited an hour for our food. We asked for water but that never came. No one checked on us, no one asked if we wanted any more drinks or to order anything else after our meal. Staff were not friendly (except for the lady that showed us to our table). This was my second visit this week and I ordered the same food as I enjoyed it so much in the week. The food was no way near as good. If we had had this service and food quality in the week we would have never returned again so soon. Very disappointed
The Grange Restaurant at Hearing Dogs for Deaf PeopleResponded on 20 January 2025
Dear Beth, I’m truly sorry to hear that your visit at the weekend didn’t meet the standards and service that you received at your earlier visit. Unfortunately, we were unexpectedly short-staffed in the kitchen over the weekend, which impacted the service and food quality you received. We do our best to check in with all our customers to ensure you're satisfied with your meal, and I apologise that this wasn't done in your case. As a result of your experience we have identified the need for additional staff training to avoid this issue in the future. Thanks again for your valuable input, and we hope to welcome you back to The Grange Restaurant at Hearing Dogs for Deaf People soon. Kind wishes, Angela, on behalf of the team at The Grange Restaurant
