The Great Room Restaurant is undoubtedly one of Northern Ireland’s most extraordinary restaurants. Thanks to the remarkable original Victorian interior with its glass cupola, Ireland’s largest chandelier an array of plasterwork detailing, the space is second to none. Needless to say our chefs search tirelessly to bring the finest seasonal ingredients together in eloquent dishes in thoughtfully prepared menus, just one of the reasons The Great Room Restaurant was awarded 2 AA Rosettes. All this is complemented by expert service and a wine list to which all the superlatives apply!
Mid- week lunch is served Monday to Friday from 12.00 to 14.15

    The great room was recommended by a local in Belfast. The setting and ambience cannot be beat. The service was impeccable. I chose as a starter sun-dried tomato soufflé-amazing. And from my main I chose the root vegetable Wellington.  again another. all the dishes I saw being presented going past me. Looked amazing. Definitely a must do when in Belfast.

    Food great, as usual. Ambience exceptional, customer service first class. Only failing was one wet seat which adversely affected one group members experience. It was also disappointing that no one approached our table to apologise for the inconvenience.

    Had a wonderful experience , food & service was excellent . Dinner was to celebrate my birthday & the staff provided me with a birthday cake to cap a wonderful evening

    Another excellent meal in the Great Room. Food is superb if expensive but great for a special occasion. The service was efficient if somewhat impersonal, which has not been our experience previously. Still a good night out and recommended.

    Fantastic staff especially Kirill. He was efficient but also friendly and so knowledgeable. Fabulous food and wine too. Great night celebrating a friends birthday 🎁

    both courses were served lukewarm, food poisioning was the result that evening. the management response was dismal, reimbursing the exact cost of my meal, no genuine understanding ,token sent without any communication , not 5 star.
