The Greenhouse Restaurant
built on the old derelict Royal Arthur Park site.
In an elegant, modern setting the restaurant luxuriously mixes
mismatched shabby-chic furniture in funky colours
with handsome wood tables and striking, specially commissioned artworks.
It’s a space that’s just as perfect for an afternoon to a lingering lunch
with all the trimmings, an intimate catch-up or some serious gourmandising
(just snacking, is very much encouraged!). whatever your preference,
friendly and highly trained staff will be quick to make sure guests
have just what they need.
The crispy squid lovely, Paperdelle pasta with rich game Ragu was delicious!!
A very enjoyable lunch
Will be back!
3 of us ate at the Greenhouse the night before Valentines, it was very quiet, we were the only people there. It’s a lovely place, food was good and the service outstanding, would go back again but in the summer and at the weekend and review again.
It’s a great restaurant and well worth a visit, best fis and chips I’ve had in a long time. It’s a great and most of the staff are very friendly and helpful.
My friend and I really enjoyed the whole experience. Food, service and ambience were very good. Two weeks ago we went for Sunday roast, five of us and it was excellent. You never feel you have to rush and can sit for a nice chat. Always enjoy morning coffee and very good value brunch.
Good value for money and polite and attentive staff
First time here as recommended by friends. Would definitely go again and bring our disabled son as the parking and areas for wheelchairs are very good.
PLEASE!! BETTER SIGNAGE!!no problem with booking a table at this lovely restaurant which my aunt and I have visited a while ago. First of all we had trouble finding the restaurant as the signage could certainly be better. We drove around Corsham having realised we had taken a wrong turn at a roundabout. Once we arrived we had a superb lunch! Service was great, food was lovely although I find my pudding a little on the heavy side; I know, chocolate and peanut butter was never going to be lightweight, it was a little hard going, but delicious. All the other dishes were fab esp the parfait, coconut and lime broth with mango crisp. Inspired!! We will be back and will hopefully remember how to get there first time.
The food was good but a little expensive, there was the option to have a small or large meal all 6 of us decided to go for the large plate and when it arrived it was medium if that .
The food was tasty though
Booked for the day after Boxing Day for a family lunch but no main menu available. Only breakfast menu and a few items on the bar menu so a little disappointed as we weren't informed when booking. Food was good though.
Lovely food great service and nice ambience would highly recommend it
Have been here many times to eat and really enjoyed it . Not this time , menu has changed , had a choice of 5 mains !!!!!!5 days before Christmas and total lack of atmosphere . They got our drinks wrong , our pudding wrong , then tried to charge us for their mistake . A long wait between courses and the restaurant was over half empty so they weren’t busy . Very disappointed . Perhaps the lack of custermers thatclose to Christmas should tell them something is wrong !!!!!!!
A lovely Sunday roast (again).
As always our meal was lovely with excellent service
In the middle of nowhere, but a very lovely place, excellent service and great food.
Good food, good service in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Would definitely return.
Small choice of food on the menu. My husbands risotto can only be described as disgusting. This is my second visit I won’t be back.
Last minute booking not a problem but a little disappointed to see the burger gone from the menu.
Went here for a lunch business meeting, was unsure where the road was taking me but once in the restaurant the food was lovely and the service was very good. would definitely go back and one all the buildings around it are built it will be a lovely scenic place.
This place is great. The food was delicious. I would recommend this place.
Great Dinner for 2
Only negative comment i have is that the waitress forgot to give us menus when she seated us at our table so we had to ask for some
We have been here several times and the last two times we feel that it has gone downhill. We asked the waitress ( who was very pleasant but spoke little English) what a word meant on the menu for a starter - she didn't know but said it was 'nice' ( there was no effort to find out) . My father ordered a red thai curry which was £12 . The chicken option on this curry was an additional £5 - the chicken came plonked on top of the curry. £17 for a chicken curry where it wasn't even cooked together! It came with 2 poppadoms and a tiny pot of mint/yogurt. My curry ( £10) was a cauliflower and lentil curry that came with the same rice and poppadoms and a flat bread. We couldn't understand why the £10 curry had flatbread but not the £17 one! When we asked for extra flatbread we got normal bread. My husband had a soup for a starter - it came in a really shallow bowl with toast! For the price we would have expected some decent bread.
The food is now pretentiously overpriced here and not good value. We will not be back unless we hear that things have improved.
Enjoyed a good meal with friends. Food and service were excellent. We will come again.
Very nice lunch and will definitely return. Although October we are outside on the patio and enjoyed the warm sunshine. Although there is building works nearby it didn’t affect the experience and is only short term anyway. Lovely atmosphere and very friendly staff! Food also amazing 😊look forward to visiting again asap.
Great location and ambiance. Staff are excellent, on hand but not in your face. Great place, will visit aga
Love this restaurant but find the menu mediocre these days it did used to be much better when I first visited, maybe its the change of chef not sure but not enough variety on the menu for me
Really unfortunate that the service was so poor and we had to wait so long for our desserts. The food is lovely but they must improve their service.
Friendly welcome time to sit and catch up with 2 fruends and no pressure to hurry to make decisions.
Shared a platter to start, with plenty on for 3 people and our main course option of smaller portions was welcome so we coukd share a dessert.
A lovely time was enjoyed attentive staff.
When we arrived at the Greenhouse we were told that there was a residents lunch and we couldn't be served until 1.30, our booking was 12.30 despite us receiving an email the day before confirming our reservation. Apparently they had been trying to get in touch with us, surely they would have know about the lunch for a while.
The occasion was my 70th birthday which we were celebrating with 2 friends and both of us had travelled about three quarters of an hour to get there.
We were talking about going elsewhere when we were told that the chef had said he would cook for us and a table was found.
The pan fried hake was overcooked, no sign of the crab and there were pieces of what looked like sausage and my friend is vegetarian.
We have previously had lovely meals at your restaurant but I'm afraid we will not be back.
A really good night at The Greenhouse again. Menus perhaps not to everyones taste, but all in all, a good menu.
Great food, lovely menu, good wine. Waitresses very friendly and patient
Never felt rushed
Super evening, very pleasant service although somewhat slow, especially when coming to pay the bill, delicious food which was great value.
We come here often and are never disappointed. I am vegan and there is always something tasty on the menu. Thank you. The staff are always friendly and nothing is too much trouble.
Booked here as it is only 5 mins from home, when my adult children visited and I was not up to cooking, thought it might be a problem that they are vegans; really pleasantly surprised when there were actually a couple of options they could choose from. Desserts are usually not possible at most restaurants but here they rustled up an avocado and chocolate mousse absolutely delicious, really well done them. Followed up with coffee in their comfortable seating area, really nice relaxing evening.
I went to The Green House for lunch with friends. It was the first time any of us had eaten there and we were all very impressed. The food was excellent and great value for money. We will definitely be visiting again.
Very enjoyable business lunch. Good food and good service.
Food rather disappointing. Potatoes in the salad nicoise when my guest was assured there were none, over cooked steak and very fatty lamb. Pudding very odd - not a crème brulee as I know it.
Wonderful evening. Such a relaxed and beautiful dining room. Great service, delicious food, excellent value!
Sorry to say but we were so disappointed :( A lovely setting but I booked a table for me and two friends to finally have a catch up. Nobody asked if we wanted drinks for ages and had to ask them to serve us. When the food finally came out, the red thai curry was luke warm and the poppadum's were horrible and the side dip was obviously out of a jar. I ordered a trio of deserts which all came in a jar container and the chocolate was tasteless and mainly tasted of Gelatine. I would no longer this place recommend to friends and family.
Good food , good service, good price, good surroundings
