Friendly staff, prompt service despite being busy (Christmas Eve). The food, as ever, was excellent with a good choice of wine by the glass. We will return as soon as rules allow.

Up to the usual high standard, with great food and really friendly and attentive staff.
We try to eat here regularly with family and friends and it never ever disappoints!
Very Covid safe too, with the option of eating in the marque.
Our daughter in law is a Vegan and this is one of the few places that takes the time to really cater for her with bespoke options .... very highly recommended.

Excellent as usual

Although the Greyhound is reasonably local, this was our first visit. We were very impressed with the service and the food. As a vegetarian, the menu was limited to just one dish on the menu, but it was delicious. My husband ordered the Hanging steak, which he really enjoyed. Overall, a good experience and we will go again.

All good except for the whole social distancing thing - too many people simultaneously
crammed in to a small, unventilated, hot space. I have every sympathy for pubs/restaurants trying to 'Square their Circles' at these times, but ... it needed to be said I'm afraid!

Lovely food as always. Delicious hangar steak with a nice, reasonably priced glass of red wine and a nice gin and tonic beforehand.

Having recently moved to Wickham Market I was absolutely thrilled to find out my new local was as good as it is. The food was exceptional, as were the staff and service. Couldn’t ask for more.

As usual wew received a very warm welcome, the service and attention couldn't be faulted. The food was very good indeed, I recommend the Hanger Steak.

Food and service was very good - they were very willing to accommodate both DF and vegetarian options and adapt the menu to suit.

Post lockdown the Greyhound felt clean and safe. The quality of the food is still outstanding and good value for money.

Went here for twice whilst visiting Suffolk for a week. The food is fabulous and the service spot on.

The lamb was absolutely amazing, the best I have ever eaten. The dauphinois potato was disappointing though and lacked seasoning. My husband had roast beef, which was lovely. However, disappointing to note that the roast potatoes were new potatoes roasted in their skins, rather than traditional crunchy roasties.

Brilliant gastropub food in an unspoilt no music old Suffolk pub. Top local ingredients packed with flavour, creative twists to many dishes. Divine venison burger, superb smoked mackerel paté. Low-alcohol Ghost Ship on draft for drivers, wine glasses a bit clumsy but it is a pub after all. Considerate service under testing conditions by young staff with great personality.

We really enjoyed our meal here. Great food and good atmosphere - not always easy to achieve right now!

The food was, as usual, outstanding - perfectly cooked and thoughtfully planned. The range of drinks is good. The only downside was the service - very friendly and cheerful, but a tad slow - not usual at the Greyhound. They have coped really well with the Covid arrangements, so as not to detract from the experience. It remains our favourite place to eat.

The food was absolutely excellent. The Scottish menu was a joy and absolutely delicious. Staff were welcoming and hospitable, obvious they really enjoyed their work. Relaxed atmosphere with a homely feel. Friendly staff, good service and really enjoyed the food. If we were in the area for longer we would have returned.

Excellent food and good value for money. We ate in the bar; enjoyed chatting with regulars who dropped in for a drink whilst we were there. Had we preferred, we could have eaten in the restaurant.
