The Greyhound Pub & Dining
We look forward to meeting you and showcasing to you what we hope will be a memorable dining experience.
We serve a tasting menu alongside our à la carte as well as an extensive drinks list.
Excellent food friendly staff so great to have a very lovely new restaurant in Beaconsfield!
Fantastic food and service. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food which was equivalents to a Michelin star restuarant. The service was welcoming and friendly and the new owner introduced herself and we had a chat.
The atmosphere needs a little tweaking. The music choice did not add to the experience and in my opinion was out of place and not suited to the surroundings. I also did not like being served an expresso coffee in a tea cup. Two minor points but overall exceptionally good.
I can’t wait to return and try something else from the menu and what a great addition to Beaconsfield.
They deserve to do well, the manager and their team were amazing, friendly, charming and attentive. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was just wonderful, my daughter said it was the best roast ever, my son and I almost cried once we tasted the starter, it was so good - can not recommend highly enough and cannot wait to go back, this is exactly what Beaconsfield needed!
Very enjoyable experience and delicious food. Highly recommend. We will be back.
Our first visit but the on the basis of it, the new Greyhound is just what Beaconsfield needs. Everything was very good, excellent renovation of a pub that we have known for years, service top class and food delicious. Comments, menu is somewhat short but the food was delivered in a timely manner and at the right pace for us , local beer was Windsor and Eton , my preference is for Rebellion but that is probably being picky. Have recently dined at Artichoke, this stands comparison.
Excellent, Daniel and his team are super good
Fabulous food and amazing service however sorry guys £4.50 for two bits of broccoli is a little steep x
We had a fantastic lunch at the Greyhound. The restaurant has been beautifully restored and the decor is out of this world. We opted for the tasting menu at £60 a head. The food was simply sublime. Creative but plentiful. The staff were very attentive, polite and friendly. I could not fault anything on our visit. I would highly recommend to anyone and we will definitely be back to sample the dinner menu. Well done to the whole team - you really made the perfect start to our New Year,
Staff were fantastic, food delicious. Was surprised how few people were there for NYE.
Possibly the cost as it was a bit steep. No doubt due to being New Years Eve though!
Great new place. You can see a lot of time, thought and effort has gone into it. Food was very nice and the service was first class... highly recommended
Venison croquettes: absolute winner!
Halibut: fresh, perfectly cooked, amazing flavour.
Sous vide duck egg with hazelnuts: delicious
Wines by the glass: very well selected and delicious.
Service was very attentive, professional and friendly.
Would most certainly return to The Greyhound in Beaconsfield.
Very nice Christmas lunch with family. Food was excellent and we took coffee upstairs on comfortable sofas. The whole experience was reallyy enjoyable.
We thoroughly enjoyed our evening at the Greyhound. The food was superb , especially the halibut - beautifully cooked - and your staff were very attentive, thank you!
I trust you’ll continue to receive the credit you deserve for creating such a lovely environment for your guests.
Ye Olde Dogge with delightful new tricks.
Delightful restaurant, lovely food and amazing service. We’ll be back very soon, very very soon.
Very good newcomer to Beaconsfield. Even great for just a drink in the lovely bar.
Great food. Lovely atmosphere. Would recommend to friends.
Enjoyed the food and ambience., Menu was limited and some guests found it esoteric and difficult to understand the descriptions. Vegan portions were were small. We all enjoyed the experience but it was quite expensive by comparison to other local quality options with a greater level of choice. We all want the greyhound to succeed. A few more traditional additions to the menu and lower cost options will encourage us to come more often with our regular dining companions. As it is we will be less inclined to come on a regular basis.
Regards and good luck Alan
Amazing !! ❤️❤️
Great service and very well prepared food. Only issue was that my companion had stomach pains that evening that she thinks may have been the foam amuse bouche.
Will definitely go again.
Nice Resturant. Food very good. Service and friendliness excellent. Love the refurbishment. An excellent addition to the Beaconsfield Resturant set - fat better than the other pub-Resturant’s in town; higher quality food and service by a a significant margin.
Fantastic Sunday lunch, perfectly cooked and the Yorkshire puds were 😋 Excellent service and ambience.
Staff couldn’t do enough, extremely attentive.
Bar area upstairs is truly amazing, beautifully decorated. Very cosy and homely feel with leather chesterfield sofas, blazing fire.
We’ll be back. Highly recommended. Keep up the good work
Appreciate they had only been open afew days. Has huge potential, although im not sure it knows if is a gastro pub or restaurant, several conflicting things. Small bites and starters were incredible, although not a huge menu choice, went for the roast as nothing else really stood out for me, the roast beef was lovely, although not hot enough and not enough gravy. We were not offered any condiments, and then were surprisingly given branded jars which not really my thing, would much prefer in dishes. There was a small dessert menu which unfortunately did not tempt myself or anyone I was with. Will definitely return and hope for a slighter larger choice.
We had Sunday lunch; it was perfectly cooked and presented, the right size portions, very good gravy, well-judged meat, vegetables with just enough firmness. House wine was excellent. The room has been very well designed and the service is second to none. This is a major addition for the area.
A triumph from start to finish!
As always Daniel and Margriet were the best hosts and from the moment we entered their new venture the welcome was warm. We were looked after well by both familiar faces and new friends. The food was delicious from start to finish - the bread freshly warmed started us off well with the meat, fish and vegetarian dishes that followed all being both flavourful and interesting. Had we not been in public I’m pretty sure my partner would have picked up and licked the dessert plate after wolfing down the Christmas pudding parfait! We can’t wait to return.
Had a fantastic evening for my birthday. Food, service and ambience were all superb.
Lovely eating experience
Worth a visit
Def worth a second visit
Loved the food & wine pairings. Will be a firm favourite destination restaurant.
