We had a delicious lunch at the Greyhound, with attentive and friendly service. The menu had several tasty-sounding options which made choosing difficult, but that guarantees we will be back for more!

Portion sizes may not be adequate for many. The restaurant is exceptionally well run, with friendly, but efficient staff.

What a tremendous asset to Beaconsfield, indeed South Buckinghamshire. This is London standard food, even Michelin standard without the fuss, and it's so good to have an independent restaurant and not one of the ubiquitous chains. The food is fabulous, the service outstanding (truly lovely people) and a very fair price for food of this standard. The nibbles are delicious and we had them tapas style instead of a starter but what a good option if you're just popping into the bar for a drink. The menu is relatively small but looking at other diners' food, everything seemed delicious. The short rib was amazing. Can't wait to go back.

We visited the Greyhound for Sunday lunch and was pleased to see they offered the a la carte as well as the usual Sunday roasts.
We had seen the chef Sean Norton on the masterchef the professionals series so were interested to try his food and we were not disappointed - it was very good.
The other area we always judge a restaurant is on its service - this was exceptional, Daniel and Margriet made us feel so welcome and their background in top class establishments is very obvious and their whole team is trained to perfection.
This was recommended to us by a michelin starred chef so we expected great thing and were not disappointed. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Just not for me. The vegetarian options were tiny and bland, the service a little OTT and the position of our table meant the waitress was leaning across us every 10 mins to serve food or top up drinks.

Undoubtedly the best front of house team I’ve ever encountered at a restaurant. A kind of warmth and hospitality that is not just unusual these days, it doesn’t really exist. Match that with a superior, luxurious environment, and high quality food, and it’s easy to see why everyone is talking about this place!

A stunning refurbishment, their attention to detail across all areas of the restaurant is to be applauded. The menu caters for all and the depth knowledge of all of the staff with regards to the menu, wines and coffee's is simply remarkable. Both Daniel and Margriet warmly welcome you and go over and above to ensure a meal to remember. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, the food was faultless and very reasonable. We will certainly be back with friends very soon!

Second visit this month, can’t stay away! The food was stunning, I had the egg, followed by the venison. The wines were paired beautifully and we were too full for desert. For us it’s not just about the food, it’s the way you’re looked after by the staff, so welcoming and unpretentious and they really care. We Highly recommend.

Dinner on Friday night. Didn’t know what to expect as Beaconsfield is notorious for its lack of decent restaurants. Wow - what a revelation! A very limited seasonal menu means that the ingredients are super fresh and the combinations are delicious.
Our guests are fussy and always eager to spot any faults - doesn’t always make for a relaxing meal - they were seriously impressed. The service is excellent and really friendly.
The owners are young and talented and deserve great success. At last a reason to eat in our home town and not have to go into London.

So pleased Beac finally has a fine dining place with a good chef. Notice he’s worked with Adam Handling at the Frog and can see some of the influences in the food which is very tasty. Only let down was the lack of ginger in the parfait which I am sure they will address as the staff are highly professional, personable and well trained. Front of house are excellent. One other gripe was being charged for chocs with the coffee which I feel should be complimentary in a restaurant of this calibre as others of their like do. On the whole a thoroughly enjoyable experience and I’ll be back for more.

Great new addition to the village. But not somewhere you could visit too often as they only have 4 dishes on the menu. However having tried all four dishes they are all very good. The stark LED lighting is not very comfortable to dine under but the owners were happy to listen to our comments and look into changing the bulbs. The service was perfect! the right amount of attention without being over attentive. Well done, looking forward to our next visit.

Fantastic food and service. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food which was equivalents to a Michelin star restuarant. The service was welcoming and friendly and the new owner introduced herself and we had a chat.
The atmosphere needs a little tweaking. The music choice did not add to the experience and in my opinion was out of place and not suited to the surroundings. I also did not like being served an expresso coffee in a tea cup. Two minor points but overall exceptionally good.
I can’t wait to return and try something else from the menu and what a great addition to Beaconsfield.

They deserve to do well, the manager and their team were amazing, friendly, charming and attentive. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was just wonderful, my daughter said it was the best roast ever, my son and I almost cried once we tasted the starter, it was so good - can not recommend highly enough and cannot wait to go back, this is exactly what Beaconsfield needed!
