Great food as always.Staff very attentive fast becoming the best place to eat in Lisburn.
The food overall was very good although the breads with the starter could have been better quality. Not sure about the vegetables with the starter either; another dip of some sort would have been better.
As usual great service Barbara was a delight and food was lovely
Great service and great food! Lovely place for lunch or dinner
Food was excellent. We had a few issues with service-slow to take initial orders and bring drinks, staff members pleasant but very lacking in knowledge about food and drink menu, no fish main course apart from ‘special’ which they had run out of
Highly recommended good food. Reasonable priced limited menu but something for everyone.will definitely be back.
Excellent range of choices on the menu and we were very well looked after by staff. They provided excellent service and were able to recommend cocktails and gins and answer any questions we had about the food. The fish of the day dish was outstanding and so different to anything I'd had before. My husband got the steak and it was cooked to perfection. We also loved the crispy prawns to start. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and will definitely be back to try more dishes on the menu. Great place, relaxed atmosphere, quality food and friendly and helpful service.
Modern/minimalist feel, but relaxed & sensible prices
Amazing food & lovely waiters & waitresses. The steak was absolutely incredible- worth every penny!
The best part of the dining was the waiter who served us as he went out of his way to accommodate my wife and I as the menu did not suit us which was very dissappointing and my wife ended up with a starter as a main course.
A very nice place in a great location in the centre of the city
Had another lovely meal at the Haslem yesterday, complete with a surprise free cocktail for my friend’s birthday. Food was perfect and waiting staff friendly and professional. Will definitely be back.
Food came out fast, staff checked on us during meal , meal was lovely would return
From the moment we arrived the staff were attentive and welcoming. The table staff were knowledgeable and helpful. The quality of the food was first class, cooked to perfection with wonderful flavours. The wine complemented the food brilliantly
Great range of food.
Modern, spacious and comfortable.
New staff member served us who was great. Friendly and attentive to the appropriate level. Would definitely recommend.
Great meal and service.Would recommend to friends
Bread roll on burger was stale. £10 caeser salad was expensive for a few bits of lettuce, some sauce, 10 croutons and 5 prawns. No atmosphere. Staff lovely but had to ask for the bill twice. 3 prawns as a starter. Very poor portions for the price. We had booked again but have now cancelled
We had lunch which lacked flavour and contained barely cooked bacon
The staff were excellent- friendly and professional and service was quick.
It doesn’t compare to lunch a few doors down at the Square Bistro and clearly does not have the standards of its sister hotel the Merchant.
Based on my experience we will not be back nor could I recommend it to anyone.
Ordered the half chicken each but it was not a half chicken as expected, was 2 portions which were not good quality. House salad was also disappointing and had no dressing? Lemon cake seemed burnt top and bottom.
The hotel is modern and well set out. Our room was a bit small, but comfortable, and at only £55 a night I can't complain. Service in the bar area was a bit slow and this is exacerbated due to Covid-19 as you are prevented from ordering at the bar. Still I think a few more waiting staff could have solved this problem especially as the bar was busy after 6 pm. As for dinner the food and wine was good and apart from an incident where the waitress (accidentally) set a napkin on fire, fairly uneventful. But again that problem with service raised its ugly head and the time lag between our starter and main course was a bit long. We also ordered tea and coffee to finish but it failed to materialise (no explanation given) so we gave up and just paid our bill.
Beautiful hotel and food. Very friendly staff and I would definitely recommend a visit.
Great food and cocktails. Felt comfortable as the other tables were well spread out.
Food was absolutely delicious, service a little lacking - we didn't get told the specials but heard them as they were being told to a different table. No check back on table to ask how everything was. Plates not cleared until we signaled to ask for the bill - no dessert/tea/coffee offered.
Really lovely spot for a chilled dinner and cocktails where delicious ,really welcoming and child friendly.
Food was amazing! Service was speedy and everyone was very polite and attentive. We had a lovely time and will definitely be back! Somewhat pricey but the food is so tasty we were happy to pay for good quality.
Great service great food would recommend to anyone
Good food and good service. I'm a regular at the Haslem and other establishments owned by Bill Wosley. Happy to support local.
Myself and 3 friends had dinner for my friends birthday. Our waiter, Nick, was so friendly and accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble for him. He looked after us all night. The food was excellent value and very tasty. We will definitely be back.
Sunday lunch with the family
Food was not as described and an part of it was inedible due to being off or freezer burnt, pointed out to staff who were not too interested.
Food was really nice and service was excellent.
Fantastic , we will be back . Great choice , well priced and perfect for family gatherings .
Modern hotel, friendly staff and good service. Food was good but not outstanding. Recommended.
Service was excellent, not to slow not too fast, and the staff, although under pressure were courteous and friendly, food delicious. Highly recommend trying the Haslem Hotel!
I’ve liked this small hotel since it opened last year and was delighted to ba able to lunch with friends inside once more.
It was very quiet but given the times we’re in that’s not surprising.
There was plenty of choice on the menu and the food was well prepared and presented.
Coffee was as ever excellent. As I was driving I couldn’t sample anything from the drinks menu this time around, but no doubt I’ll be back minus car.
The staff are all lovely and looked after us well.
I recommend a visit to anyone in town in need of refreshments, great spot.
Sunday was our first time in the Haslem, our new local hotel. We were delighted with the decor and service.
Ordered starters which were lovely. Main course let us down. Roasted Baby potatoes were very watery and rotisserie chicken was very dry and chewy. Disappointed as we have ate in sister restaurant yardbird and it is always excellent so we’re expecting good things.
It was not just my chicken as my son ordered it too and think his was actually worse than mine.
It will not put us off, and we will try again though maybe mid week as menu is more varied.
Service was friendly and excellent though staff knowledge maybe for hospitality was lacking, when paying they queried what a gratuity was????
The food was very nice and service was grand. The waiting staff were all very friendly and helpful.
Lovely place, great food and drinks. Service slow and unattentive.
Always make us feel really welcome and like nothing is a bother. Everyone is so friendly. I already thought this when I had been pre the last lockdown and now I’ve been back with a new baby in tow and they make us feel very welcome with him. I’ve been to other places since lockdowns have eased and haven’t had the same reception. Such a lovely place. And food and drinks are fab as well!
Had a great experience - the food was delicious and the service friendly and attentive. Thanks!
