The Highway has a proper Cotswold pub feel, not only serving excellent local produce, we also offer well-conditioned ales that come from local breweries, for example: Hook Norton Brewery and the Cotswold Brewing Company.
We have a number of dining areas, the Main bar, the Main restaurant, our Intimate Snug, and our Private cellar dining room for celebrations and corporate entertaining.
In Summer time we also serve food outside, where you can either watch the world go by in the High Street or in our sunny, restored medieval courtyard
Really lovely meal and perfect space for our large group meet up. Nothing to much trouble and so welcoming for families with children of all ages.
Booking was easy, online, good menu and delicious food served in a timely manner with friendly staff. My only negative comment is that you don’t serve decaf coffee
Really pleasant traditional ambience with great service, friendly staff and a reliable but inventive range of contemporary approaches to bar restaurant favourites.
A lovely place to stay. Great host and friendly staff. Felt very comfortable as a lady staying on her own. Would highly recommend.
Excellent food, friendly staff and great value. Would definitely recommend!
Always brilliant thank you. Food is delicious and staff are lovely and attentive at all times.
Food ok, nothing amazing. Service annoying, 2 people repeating everything. Service charge really annoying. I saw nothing clearly stated on the menu that I would be charged 10%.
We had a lovely meal and very good service, our waitress was good!
Lovely fresh food. Great flavour combinations and fantastic service.
Service and food were both excellent. My wife had chefs steak, I had lemon sole both were cooked perfectly. An excellent choice for a special occasion meal.
Very nice pork dish with a couple of pints of local ale.
Excellent unpretentious lunch menu, locally sourced and reasonably priced plus very good local beer and cider. We sat at a pavement table happily watching the world go by.
Decided to try a new local pub for Sunday lunch and booked here on the back of the Tripadvisor ratings. We weren't disappointed. We were greeted by a friendly member of staff who let us change from the dining room to sitting outside at the front as it was a beautiful day. Only two roast beef left (and it was only 1.45) so we had these. The food was presented and very tasty, rare roast beef and lovely fresh vegetables. We also had dessert which again was very nice. We'll return for definite!
Our meal was expensive and rushed by staff. Quality was good but small portion size.
We had a great meal, excellent service in a quirky olde world pub!
Absolutely fantastic food and service! Booked on a whim when busy the area. Very pleased to have discovered this Gem.
Excellent food in a lovely Cotswold Inn with a great atmosphere and fantastic staff.
Local fresh food well cooked and well presented. Excellent service
A friendly welcome followed by excellent service and a delicious dinner. We will definitely be back.
Nice little pub on the high street. Has a lovely sunny courtyard but was too hot for our friends so we sat outside by the road. This was fun for people watching but a bit noisy with large lorries passing. I would recommend the courtyard or eating inside!
Lovely food and great location. Staff very attentive, would definitely re-visit.
Service was very good but food was not good. Would not go back unless I heard the chef had changed. Shame - nice venue and staff.
