Attended for a roast and football. Good atmosphere and food. Only suggestion would be more veg on the roast dinner.

Really loved this time and we went on Halloween which was nice because of the themed food drinks and the staff in fancy dress! Fabulous food will defo come back again.

Very friendly and attentive staff. The surroundings are smart and very stylish. More importantly, the menu is imaginative and the food was excellent my steak was cooked to absolute perfection.

Me my wife and 3 year old daughter when to the hive for a Sunday roast. It was perfect both food and drink. Great service. The staff and the manager really took care of us and attended to our needs. Can’t wait to go back for another meal. 5 stars.

This was our first visit to The Hive and from the moment we arrived until we left the staff, service and food were spot on.
We chose a brunch and the choice was great. It arrived in perfect time.

Amazing food and lovely cocktails. We loved the Manc theme of the restaurant, they had on 90’s Brit rock during our visit which took us right back 👍👍 looking forward to another visit

We enjoyed the food and drinks but it was spoilt by club/dance music which was played much too loud for a restaurant.

As per usual it was fab

2 adults and 2 kids were well looked after from start to finish and the kids meals were a nice fresh joy to see at a reasonable price and the roast dinners were the best we’ve had in Manchester for years!

Sunday Roasts 2 die for, two courses for £15.95 on the Sunday lunch menu. Great value

I was very satisfied with the treatment that we received from the hive staff around the covid 19 guidelines, we were temperature tested on arrival and restaurant areas were cleaned regularly. The food was amazing (best steak I've ever had). The environment was clean and presentable and all of the staff were very approachable I will be looking forward to my next visit.

Waiters were nice but not very together in terms of being on it, asked 3 of them if we could pay the bill and waited for about 30mins after receiving the bill till one of them actually got round to taking our payment.
There was plenty of staff, but instead of each waiter having their own tables to manage they were all over the place. The food was lovely and the staff were friendly, service just needs more organisation.

Food and service were fine and the venue itself is very nice but the birthday party upstairs was definitely not Covid compliant, customers weren't being asked to wear masks and one waiter actually joked about needing to wear one but not really bothering. We went to several bars and restaurants during the day and this was the only place not sticking to the rules fully. It has put us off going back, which is a shame as it's a lovely bar and we've always enjoyed it previously.

Second visit to The Hive with family. Nice meal and great service. A little overpriced for Sunday lunch at £15.95 for 2 courses but that wouldn't stop us from going again. Football was on, not too loud, but I found it a bit distracting. There are 2 bars so maybe just have football in one of them - especially on a Sunday with families dining there.
