Very disappointed I’m afraid. Arrived at 17.15 and didn’t get our food until 18.40. The Gammon came with an egg, 2 pieces of pineapple and some fries. No peas or salad. The Sunday roast was probably the worst my wife had ever had at a restaurant. Our friend had to send hers back. The coffee after the meal was just about warm. However the staff were friendly and helpful. The bill for four of us came to £140 with one starter and four mains. Our first meal out for a long time so expected better food and service. They need to up their game before we return

We booked for 6.45, arrived 10 mins early so understood that our table wasn’t ready, but after 3/4 of hour we had to ask when our table would be ready, from then everything went down hill. Service very slow, ordered a bottle of wine which didn’t come and we had to ask again , dread to think how they’ll cope when fully up and running, food slow to come out, waited 20 mins for dessert menu then a further 30 mins for dessert. I’m sorry, we attended the previous Thursday and it was lovely but this visit was a disaster

The management and staff at The Holly Bush always go above and beyond to make sure customers have the best experience however in light of them reopening due to the pandemic, they have really done everything they can to keep the same experience! They were so busy with drinkers and diners and their outdoor areas were all full but staff were continually going around collecting empties, taking orders and still ensuring they chatted to customers! A big well done and thank you for reopening and working so hard! The food and drinks were delicious as always!

Seemed fairly well organised and COVID safe but food was fairly average for fairly high end prices - eg £14.50 for pie, mash, peas and gravy. Outdoor area largely under cover.

Food excellent but service for drinks was slow. As a group of 6 we gave up being asked for whether we wanted puddings so had to request the bill so we could leave.

We love the Holly Bush and always receive a warm welcome along with excellent service. The food and choice of drinks is always outstanding and the little touch of treats for our dogs says a lot for the caring of patrons and doggie visitors. We sat in the marquee due to COVID restrictions but left earlier than planned because we were cold. But ell done Hollybush !

First night out after covid with hubby for meal and drinks Really nice to be out sat outside went to table booked in gazebo but was colder than sitting outside so we asked staff if we could move back outside and they were fine with it. So we had our meal outside in the sun. Would of stayed longer but got chilli so went home just before 8pm. Halloumi fries amazing as ever best I’ve had not found any where else that does as good as the Hollybush. Just one negative had to wait for drinks hard to get staff attention as busy serving food and drinks but first week open so I’m sure they will get it perfected as they have been shut for a very long time.

Lovely food but found the portions quite small...we had the fish and chips and found we only had a small portion of chips..and for £14.50 we expected more.

Had a fabulous evening, first time out in a very long time and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. Staff were so friendly and service excellent. My only complaint was how cold it got through the evening but that was mother nature’s fault 😂 Definitely be back 👍

The meal , as usual was excellent but we were sad to see them close for the lockdown.

The best pub near Redditch, excellent food and drink, and totally Covid safe, gutted it will be closed for a month

Drinks took an age, meal arrived and I order another drink which didn’t arrive until after I had finished my meal and had to prompt the chap for it. The pie was scolding hot to the point it burnt my tongue, a drink would of been ideal at this point! My partners lamb meal was overpriced for what was presented. Usually have a lovely meal here but not tonight.

Excellent food for the price and attentive friendly service.

Can only review my meal Sunday roast Pork Belly Draugh was tough and without much flavor, plus waitress nearly spilled the very thin gravy in my lap, the meal was over priced for what was presented on the table. I have eaten at the Holly Bush before and been very satisfied but this Sunday lunch fell well short of what I was expecting.

Food was average and service was exceptionally slow.

We have visited The Hollybush several times in the last few months. The ambiance is welcoming along with excellent interior decor. Having said that on the last couple of occasions we have been disapointed with the choice and quality of food. One of our party chose Rump Cap,when it arrived it was so small it was ridiculous. The Specials Menu had not changed from our last visit some weeks ago, somewhat lazy restuarant practise or lazy chef. Service and point of delivery was good but the main purpose of dining out is to enjoy the food sadly this was lacking.

I have dined here on a number of occasions and the food and service can only be described as variable. On my last visit the quality of both the service and food was poor.

Service - Customers arriving after us were served their food whilst we sat waiting and waiting. In the end we had to ask where our food was!

Food - From a party of six one person returned their meal because the meat was not cooked and another complained of extremely tough meat.

This is a shame because the restaurant is capable of delivering very good quality service and meals which I have experienced on a number of occasions. Lastly I would have to say the current menu portion sizes are really too small. I don't want quantity over quality but a few more vegetables would not go amiss. If I knew the quality was consistently good I would have no hesitation in recommending the Holly Bush.

Had to wait for 40mins to get our first drink. Food very salty, average and overpriced for what it was. As my 11 year old daughter says ‘the best thing about it was the drinks - when we finally got them’.

Excellent food and service was great by the team.
