So much fun, €26 for a litre of margaritas was such a fair price because the quality was so good. Great music (blu cantrell, Beyoncé, Aaliyah) and the staff were so nice. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a fun restaurant with good food and great drinks. Will deffo be back

This is a fun spot, where you can get fed adequately. Service was exceptionally poor on the night. Dec 20 busiest night in Dublin? Waiting time to order even drinks but worst of all 30 mins between service for people at same table. Ours was party of 6. This place has potential though to be great as it is unique.

Small but atmospheric Mexican restaurant. Nice food and cocktails, and great prices. V nice staff also. Will happily be back!

Awful service!!
The female waitress doing everything and the guy was useless He called us awkward when paying, handed us cutlery by the part you eat off, continuously made comments about how he himself was lazy or forgot stuff.

The girl waitress tried to recover his mistakes but our meal was even further ruined when food came out with hair in it. We sent it back and when we got a replacement, that had hair in it too!! So gross; and all they did was not charge us for it. Would have expected an apology & possibly a dessert on the house.

Great food and drinks, friendly staff, and handy location for Temple Bar, shopping etc. And it was a great price! Only downfall would be the toilets - could do with a revamp.

Went in for my birthday and there was 14 of us. We were a handful and the servers were INCREDIBLE! Every single person said the food was amazing, so happy with everything. Food, drink and overall experience was more than I could have asked for.

Food was very good, only the location itself was quite noisy. For eating and having some drinks with friends it's fine but I wouldn't call it family friendly. Conversations are barely possible due to the noise.

Be sure to order the Grande Nachos. The chili spice on the nacho chips complimented the cheese and veggies on top perfectly. So yummy!! We highly recommend the enchiladas with the chipotle sauce. Disfrutamos nuestra comida.

After living in Ireland for nearly a year, we finally found a place that is good, basic Mexican food. Not fancy, but not fast food either. The habanero salsa is actually hot, which is hard to find in Dublin. The nachos are hand-made flour chips and, while unexpected, are fantastic! Nice wait staff, good service. Cozy setting.

The food was lovely and the portion sizes were generous. The restaurant initially looked very dark and unappealing but after having food there and enjoying drinks, it all works really well. Definitely would go back

The food was excellent. Unfortunately we had to wait over an hour for it to arrive while we were repeatedly offered drinks rather cynically in the interim. The waitress was quite pushy when asking for drinks orders.

Excellent food but extremely slow service you might starve to death before it arrives.

While all looked well initially with a nice lively cantina like atmosphere the food was pretty disappointing. Nachos were very poor with strange Tortilla chips and very limited toppings which meant it was very overpriced at 9.95 Euros. Vegetarian burrito was filled with undercooked rice while the chicken fajitas had dry overcooked chicken although the et of the dish was fine. Pitcher of margarita was tasty though only had a hint of tequila which seemed was bad value at 25 Euros. Overall a disappointing experience.

We LOVED the Hungry Mexican! We were lucky to find it while on holiday in Dublin, and returned the following two nights. The vegan options are to die for. Try the soya burrito and the tostones !

After several cancellations we finally celebrated a birthday with a lover of Mexican cooking. We were not disappointed, although when my wife and I return we will share some of the portions. An excellent way to pass a lunchtime...

The Hungry Mexican was great for our group of 9 (with 3 vegans and 2 vegetarians), the food was good and the Passion fruit and Strawberry Margaritas were fab. The only thing I would say is it took the best part of 45 minutes for us to get our food, it was a Friday night so the place was quite busy but the staff could have maybe given us a heads up that we'd be waiting a little while! Otherwise, really cool, fun, restaurant and I will definitely go back, I'll just maybe order a starter or nachos for the wait next time!

Very friendly Staff, owners very hands on. Food was fab, lots of vegetarian options!
Interior is different and casual but nice vibe in the whole place! Don’t be put off by first appearances the place grows on you. Will definitely be back!!

Great food and drinks, generous helpings at good value.

At Christmas I had booked a table for 7 people.. there was a large party of maybe 20 people before us.. we sat waiting two hours to be told that it would be another 45 mins before we would get our food as they needed to serve the bigger party before us.. we had only ordered simple things like burritos and nachos. We had to leave as we had spent 200 euro on alcohol as we had been waiting for so long.. then they had the audacity to try and put a service charge on the bill when we had received no food.. we left as we couldn’t wait any longer. It was an absolute disgrace.. we will never go back there again.

The food was not nice at all. It isn't expensive but I would rather pay more money and eat nice Mexican food.
