A sophisticated and contemporary Japanese restaurant and bar from Oswald Cobblepot, owner of The Iceberg Lounge at Park Row, Gotham City.

The Iceberg Lounge at Park Row is more than a restaurant and bar; it’s a stage for storytelling, where every morsel spins a tale set against a brooding backdrop of exquisite Grade II Art Deco listed interiors, neon signage and reproductions of some of the world’s most famous stolen art pieces, each bearing a villainous mark.

Just a few seconds walk from Piccadilly Circus Station and London's West End and perfect for shoppers on Regent Street, Carnaby Street and nearby Mayfair. Step directly from the streets of Soho into the underworld of Gotham City. Expect Live Music/DJs every evening.

The food menu is quite limited. The male server who served us was attentive and looked after us but the food was a let down for the prices they are dishing out. Having asked for our food to come out all together it did not which was disappointing as we now had to wait so that we could all eat together.

It was completely empty and the ambience was lacking. Considering we were the only ones there, the service was very slow. Food and drinks were good though.

Went here for my birthday and had the best time. The drinks were phenomenal and the experience/service was excellent from start to finish. Even though it's pricey, I think it's well worth the money for a special occasion! I ordered a ton of small plates to share.

I was wondering why there were hardly any customers inside considering there were queues around the corner at many venues nearby, and then I realised. You go to a place for the product/concept, you return for the hospitality. That being said, I will never return here. The service was shockingly bad. Laughable even. And laugh we did, all night long, it became a running joke of the evening at how terrible the experience was. So, thanks for the laughs, not so much thanks for the price we paid to get them. Please train your staff to a higher standard and maybe you’ll have returning customers

Heard about this place so thought give a try, a massive venue 2 floors underground, numerous bar areas, we asked for our table to moved in the more restaurant like area as opposed to champagne bar area, service was slow to order drinks and food, food came really promptly and was good, we ordered oysters but were sold out, and there is no dj from 8 Given a Saturday night, surprised no live bands, and it was very quiet in there, as it’s unknown I think needs advertise somehow, as would be amazing if busier

We came here over a year ago and could not fault it the whole experience so bought our friends and wish we hadn’t bothered and won’t be recommending again which is a real shame! Think it may have changed management as staff looked all smartly dressed with its classy feel, service was shocking, staff were talking to each other more than with the customers. We could see them commenting when we raised an issue. Food was amazing what did turn up and I can’t fault the flavours/menu! 3 dishes didn’t even come out! 1 was still on the bill! Just a shame it all came out at different times, rice came out 10 mins after the main meal was then cold which they replaced but then we had eaten our mains as that was cold and it was the Wagu steak at £160 so didn’t want that to go to waste. The staff were not happy I sent it back and informed me that they can’t get all the food out at once, this should have been informed at point of order if this was an issue as we wouldn’t have ordered small plates and main at the same time to come out. There was 6 of us 4 drinking and having cocktails at around £80 a round, staff were great for the first drink but glasses were always empty and no one checking on us which was a shame as they missed out on a lot of money! We decided after dinner that we would prefer to go to another bar and give them our money. Our bill was £651 and was not worth it at all such a shame. No more live music either ambience was very dull and lifeless which again was a shame.

We had been to Park Row before in June 2023, so booked again for their “immersive experience” also detailed in their press release in Restaurant dated 10 November 2023, to celebrate our twin daughters’ 21st and our son’s 18th birthdays (which are very close together in Decemberand January respectively) - so we booked for Saturday 27th January 2024 Sadly there was no live music- only background music, no theatrical type staff making the frozen popcorn, and the kiss from a rose dessert was not anything like the amazing one we had last June. We were also told it was not possible to make any variations on cocktails- ie a raspberry mojito, instead of a classic, again this had been available at our last visit). When we ordered food there was no lobster gyoza.. The food we did have was very good, however, but we can go to many places in London for good Japanese food. We were told by staff as January was a quiet time, that’s why there was no music etc. In my opinion if you can’t operate to your usual standard in January, then you may aswell just close for the whole month! I wasn’t informed when I booked that all the things that made Park Row special and provide the immersive experience they brag about were not available. I’d like to add that the staff were nice and tried their best, but we were so disappointed with the whole experience- and it IS supposed to be an experience according to their own PR! We had a reasonably good night- because of the nice guy that looked after our table, but we won’t go back! Definitely not worth the almost £900 bill

The whole experience was great. The staff were really friendly and helpful, the food was some of the best food we’ve ever had, the wagyu steak is highly recommended. We really enjoyed it here, we Will absolutely go back. The concept is great and when you arrive it’s very quirky. Great experience loved it!

This place will be closed within 6 months. It is very confused about what it wants to be, attempting to be high-end event dining but not committed to the concept. There are vague hints at the Gotham world but the luxury of the food and drink prices is not reflected in the experience, the massive space barely populated on a Saturday night in Soho. Generic house music was very incongruous with the theme. Food was nice enough but arrived immediately, the small dishes polished off within 20 mins and whisked away immediately, shortening the dining experience. We had higher expectations and left disappointed.

Service charge was high for service that wasn’t the greatest. Food was very very expensive for the portions given, I got to “££££” restaurants and usually you’re paying for the ambiance/vibe or the quality of the food, sometimes if you’re lucky you get decent portions as well. I went to the Hutong in the shard recently; it’s service blowed this place away, so did the ambience, the food portion sizes and prices. I had two main courses there two moctails and starters. And my total bill came to including service charge £160, I left full and happy with the ambience. Here I got 1 sashimi plater (that was enough for 1 person not two unless you’re a child or you’re someone who’s full after 1 chicken nugget! It was £110 you could go ivy Asia and have better scenery and only pay £80 max and be fed more) and two starters, two mocktails and one desert and with and service charge requested the bill came to £190!. I left underfed & disappointed with the ambience, the place looks way better on instagram, the “Gotham/batman” themes is literally mainly the staircase/lobby. Not worth the money at all, I justify expensive restaurants as “experiences” because that’s what they mainly offer, this place is an experience I’d of forgotten quickly if it wasn’t for for the price I’ve paid. Was rather quiet for a Saturday night as well lots of empty space, all other “fancy” restaurants would’ve been buzzing, so maybe my experience is why. They have that theatre experience that’s a separate part to this business, I think that’s better maybe but I won’t be risking trying it out.

The food was absolutely delicious and the service was top-notch. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a romantic dinner or a casual lunch with friends. The only downside was the slightly higher prices on alcohol But overall, a fantastic dining experience that I would highly recommend.

We eat early so was very quiet on arrival and whilst we had already been served more than three of the numerous small plates before our cocktails arrived, we couldn’t fault the attention and more importantly the food. Each mouthful was enjoyed, some more than others. The scollop ceviche and the tuna tartare were so flavourful along with the recommended tuna crispy rice. We decided to order a small bottle of sake the Miyanoyuki Junmai Ginjo which paired perfectly with the Japanese dishes. Only a problem if you’re extremely hungry, the dishes are as described ‘small plates’ and even we had to re-order another three plates, which gave me a chance to try the Wagyu bonbons. Very rich and delicious. Wish I was younger and had the appetite to demand one of the larger plates, but the small plate option gave a better idea of what they can do, and thankfully none were a letdown.

Mixed feelings overall. Was my sons 21st and he thought great with the Gotham theme, food selection and quality. Our first server was average and we had to ask for some attention but when a new chap served us was really excellent. The disappointing part really was the atmosphere - I thought would be buzzing being just before Christmas but was about one third full and with DJ but no live music was a bit flat. Not really the restaurants fault and not sure what can be done - maybe live bands would help but it could turn a good evening into a great one. Really nice round tables and good menu for sharing it does suit groups of 4-6 wanting a social informal evening ..just needs to have the party atmosphere to match.

After a couple of recommendations, I bought my family to London for Christmas and decided to surprise them with a meal here. We booked for 7pm on a Wednesday. 5 of us visited and were amazed at the spectacular staircase and the theatre of the art deco restaurant. Our waiter was extremely helpful and polite, whilst guiding us on dishes and how much to order. My son and I chose the 250g Wagyu steak main at £160 each, but our waiter suggested we share. The rest of the food was lovely with some great flavours and superb presentation. When it came to our Wagyu, it appeared quite a small portion, but shockingly was cold. We notified the waiter who apologised and took it away and notified the manager. We had ordered medium rare as this is how we usually take our steaks. What returned was, I hope, a fresh piece of Wagyu, but unfortunately, this was medium and only slightly more tepid than previous. Certainly not hot. On notifying the waiter, he apologised and took it away, again notifying the manager. This manager then approached us and asked what the problem was. When I mentioned the temperature of the steak, he said it was due to us requesting medium rare. I found this a strange answer as, on eating at many steak restaurants in and around London, I have never had medium rare steak served cold. He continued to tell me that this is the way they served it if asked for medium rare. He then said he would remove the £160 from the bill. So we were left without any main course. This really left a disappointing end to what was to be a surprising and entertaining family meal. Judging by the very few other customers around us, this is more an Instagrammers restaurant with those sharing the venue with us, bringing their own lighting equipment and cameras to document every dish, drink, and moment rather than merely enjoying their partners company. This made for a rather quiet and subdued atmosphere only broken by the music. Hopefully, later in the evening, it may get busier.

I recently had an incredible dining experience at Iceberg lounge with my mum. It was absolutely fantastic from start to finish! Our waiter, Eduardo, was exceptional, providing top-notch service throughout the evening. Another waiter also stood out for their excellent service. The bartender who delivered the blue boy cocktail added a fun and lively touch to our night. While we may have splurged a bit, it was worth every penny as we had an unforgettable time filled with laughter. The food at [Restaurant Name] was not only delicious but also creatively presented, offering unique and exciting flavors. The cocktails were a true delight, indulging our senses and adding to the overall experience. What impressed me the most was that, despite my love for Batman and my mom not being a fan, we both left the restaurant feeling wowed. The ambiance, service, and culinary offerings at Iceberg Lounge catered to both our preferences and exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend [Restaurant Name] to anyone looking for an extraordinary dining experience. It's a place where you can enjoy delectable cuisine, exceptional service, and create lasting memories.

I am not a huge Batman fan but regardless the restaurant lacks a lot of atmosphere. It is a huge basement restaurant that is in need of renovation and modernisation. The new Japanese menu is absolutely delicious! We were so surprised at just how delicious the food was and the presentation was very good. It is on the expensive side and with the competition high in London, you can eat at other nicer restaurants for a more reasonable price. The service was very good.

A pretty disappointing experience unfortunately. Waited for about to 15 minutes to even get a drinks order, we eventually had to go up and ask to have our orders taken, not sure what they were doing as there was only our table and one other table in the area. Food came and was mediocre. The hot dishes were not very warm- came out quite cold. Definitely not worth the price. Overall, food not worth the money and definitely not the service. Only thing that made it seem special was the interior- but money and service is not worth the money, very sad as i had been a few years ago and really enjoyed the experience, and decided to bring my mother and brother so this was upsetting after bigging up the restaurant so much to them.

This is my fifth time at Park Row and I am sad to say it will be my last. I celebrated my birthday here in 2021, had afternoon tea here, enjoyed set menus and drinks but last nights experience means I will not return. I took my future mother in law and fiancé here to celebrate our engagement, but with an expensive wedding coming up we opted for the set menu which runs until 6:30pm. We were seated at 6:20pm and when requesting the set menu, we were told it’s not available as it’s a work in progress - I said that I read the set menu on the website and to use a previous one as we had specifically booked for this reason. The waitress then spoke to the manager and then came back and said as it’s past 6:30 we can’t serve the set menu, I said it’s 6:25pm and in any other restaurant you can order until the set time. They said at Park Row it’s different and all food has to be delivered by 6:30 (what a load of rubbish - that means the set menu would run for 15minutes to ensure all courses were served between start and end time) As it was Friday night in the heart of london we knew we wouldn’t get in elsewhere and with my mother in law there I sucked it up and we ordered mains to share between us and a side of rice with a dessert to share between us at the end. Alongside this the initial bar as you walk in was closed which is fine, but at least light it up - it’s like we’re walking into a closed restaurant- this coupled with about 15 staff walking round but no one actually helping - it was like it was the first day of opening. The new menu is so disappointing too and over inflated prices (do not get the kiss from a rose - great for a video but the taste is bland and very stodgy) I’m not sure if there’s new management in place - but I’m so disappointed as this was a real gem of a place for special occasions and have told friends to cancel reservations and recommended elsewhere. What a shame.

Good to be back at Iceberg Lounge. Some things have changed since my last visit. The staircase is awesome and really excites you. The menu is excellent, some great Japanese dishes I havent seen elsewhere. The crispy rice and tuna tataki were first class. The Blue Boy is better than the last time I tried it too. The atmosphere was great and looking forward to being down in Gotham at Xmas. P

We rebooked at our favourite last night and we were super surprised to see a completely new Japanese menu. Apparently only went live a day ago. The food is some of the best we’ve ever had. My guest, who’s eaten at Zuma, Roka and Nobu genuinely said it’s up there with the best. The vibe now feels more grown up and loved the friendly staff none of which I recognised to be honest from previous visits. Just go and order the tuna crispy rice, tatakis and miso black cod. New cocktails were interesting well balanced and complex with great stories behind them. Can’t wait to bring people back! Thanks to Antony for explaining the dishes to us too.

Not really much Dc inspired magic within the restaurant. I expected more. Food was nice but overpriced. I ordered a cocktail which they didn’t have. We ordered a rabbit in a hat for starters and they put on a nice little show for. Was expecting more with the cocktails like they did with the starter. Would recommend to friends but not for a Dc vibe. Could of been any restaurant really with a few pictures up.

This was my first visit to London and Park Row was my favorite restaurant my entire trip. The salt and vinegar calamari was really good. I did expect more of a vinegar taste but overall delicious. The ribeye was cooked perfectly like I asked. The best part was my server, Johnathan. He was extremely attentive and honestly all of the wait staff there was amazing. I came in on Tuesday October 24 at 8:30. I accidentally spilled my mocktail and he replaced it for free. That was so kind of him to do that for me. I will recommend this place to anyone who visits and if I’m ever in town again, I’ll stop by and try more food! Thank you for my birthday treat as well.

The grand entrance, walk down the stairs into the restaurant looked much better on Instagram. Due to our booking being at 5pm we were lead into a pretty much empty restaurant with very little atmosphere- disappointing for london. We picked two different cocktails hoping to be wow’d but we’re left disappointed, the magic/theatre was missing. We opted for the set menu, the options were fine. When my partners burger came out, she lifted the silver lid from the plate and I could see his disappointment looking down at this lonely basic burger in the middle of his plate. We also picked the nitro popcorn which we’d seen on Instagram (even from the name it sounded cool) - well that was a let down, just a little tub of popcorn was placed on our table. Our waitress was lovely, we cannot fault her service! And at the end we were provided a little dessert treat celebrating our Anniversary. Overall we had high hopes for the restaurant but left feeling disappointed.

We went for my birthday and we were VERY let down. There was 4-5 staff standing at the entrance, yet we could not get their attention to order drinks. When they finally did take our order they brought over wrong drinks on THREE separate occasions. They then repeated to make mistakes with the drink orders, as well as taking more than 30 minutes to bring some of them. It was almost completely empty, yet nothing went right and there were considerable delays. The waiter also forgot some of our food items. The manager ended up coming and apologising and bringing a round of champagne, but unfortunately it was too late and our evening was already spoilt. The food was tasty albeit small portions and the live DJ was excellent. I would NOT recommend dining here for a special occasion. Very disappointed.
