We had a fab visit to the Inchcolm. The food was great, and the outside seating area is spacious, clean and enjoyable.
We got starters of mussels and mac’n’cheese and the portions were very generous.
Wine was good too, and the two waiters serving were lovely even though they were clearly rushed off their feet!
The food was fine as was the service. As I paid by contactless payment, it was only when checking my bill at home that I realized I had been overcharged. My visit was early afternoon on a weekday and I was charged evening menu prices.
Service was great , nice setting but food was average. Disappointing as it wasn’t the cheapest.
Thanks for your comments, we will take these on board
Really nice staff lovely food and nice atmosphere and view in the beer garden
We just had a starter and chips but the food was really hot and tasty and the chips were real! Will go for full meal next time
Look forward to welcoming you back again soon.
We had a lovely meal and then drinks outside. The staff were amazing, very polite and accommodating.. Definitely be back.
Thanks Sheona, we are delighted you enjoyed your visit with us.
Good pub grub just what you expect from the Inchcolm with great service, been a few times here and will be back again.
Thanks for taking time to rate and review us.
As advertised we went here for Sunday Roast Dinner only to find that they had none. Totally disappointed. Went for other available options, it was OK especially the fresh battered haddock.
It would be advisable to tell customers what not on menu.
We are so sorry to learn of this and will chat to the team to find out why this had happened.
Service was good, bit slow considering how quiet it was. Food was abysmal, mash was not creamy at all. Partner says it tasted like microwaved meal. My Mac & cheese was dry as anything. Onion rings came out 10/15 mins after our mains did - were overcooked & no taste. Will be back but only for drinks. Won’t be eating here again
Rebekka, please be assured we will follow this up with the team. All of our food is locally sourced and home cooked. We will look into what has gone wrong on this occasion.
The starter was nice but our mains were awful. Muscles were undercooked, mac n cheese was so so dry and no visible sauce whatsoever! Mentioned to the waitress and she said she would let the chef know, that was it no discount, nothing. Considering the place was extremely quiet the service was very slow. I won't be back.
Thank you Karen for the feedback, this is most certainly not the standard of service or home cooked food that we strive to deliver and will look into this further.
The food was outstanding. Decor didn’t really match the menu and food offering but the price for what we had for lunch was fantastic.
Good value for money, friendly staff abs delicious food, thank you.
Thanks for taking time to rate us.
Lovely staff, really friendly. Food was served quickly and was a mixed bag.
Crab cake was lovely but couldn’t make it work with the katsu curry sauce. Chips were amazing, but the steak in the pie was a little tough. The side salad was a full salad, really nice.
All in all a good meal but not great.
Thanks Susan, we will follow up your comments with the team.
Very relaxed atmosphere, decent pub grub & great table service will be back
Thanks Lisa, we hope to welcome you back again soon.
The food was excellent, we only had main courses (Sunday Roast, Fish and Chips, and a Chicken Avocado Bacon Salad) but everybody cleared their plates.
The staff were friendly, helpful, and very professional.
The wait from ordering wasn't too long, about 30-40 minutes, but the ambience was nice so we didn't mind waiting.
Price-wise, it was great value for the quality of food. I would definitely go again, and definitely recommend it to anyone who needed a place to go for a meal.
Thanks Cameron for the detailed review and rating, we appreciate all feedback and do hope to welcome you again soon.
Booked in for the football…given a table where view of TV was obscured by a pole. Asked to be moved told no but 5 mins later found us a better table. Well done to the staff.
Stella and bierra Moretti taps were off. Had to drink Guinness but then that ran out.
Only alternatives John Smiths or Tennants. Get the John Smiths in the bin and replace with Belhaven Best.
Need to sort that out. Otherwise good visit.,
Thanks for the feedback, we will follow this up with the team.
Lovely touch having a menu for the dog. Will be back.
Thanks Heather, we are glad you enjoyed our dog friendly menu and visit and do look forward to welcoming you back soon.
Chicken was over cooked but the sauce helped, staff were very good toilets were very clean and overall we had a lovely afternoon and enjoyed the outdoor seating
Thanks Karen for the comments, we will pass these onto the team.
the meal was delicious except for the carrots these were hard nearly raw otherwise meal was perfect.
Thank you for taking time to provide a rating and great feedback, we will take note of your comment about the carrots.
Place was empty yet service was very poor when we first arrived
Please can you advise the time that you visited in order to look into this further with our team. We always strive to deliver excellent hospitality.
The food wasn't great I ordered mac and cheese wich was literally just plain pasta shells and chips, the serving man was also honking of body oder wich made me feel sick
We really do value all feedback. If you can provide further information of the time you booked and the name the booking was made under, this will allow us to look into this further.
Excellent pub style food with friendly and very efficient service
Thanks Alister for your lovely feedback, we will pass on your comments to our great team.
No food was eaten so can’t comment on that. Ambience was very drab and non-inviting. Outside was lovely but staff were very slow at service and not very friendly. Wouldn’t rush back to this pub.
Really disappointing to hear this feedback, we will most certainly follow this up with the team.
Food was very good, service was very good. The outside area would benefit from some TLC but overall a pleasant experience.
Thanks Allan for your comments and feedback.
Drinks service wasn’t too great as waited over 15 mins for our order in the beer garden. Staff were ok bar the chap who was on was fab! The 2 girls weren’t so good, the girl doing reception was abrupt rather than helpful with the track and trace as we had never done it as 1st night out in 15 months!
Thank you Hilary for your comments, we will feed this back to the team.
Food was good with good size portions.
Had booked an indoor table, on arrival was told no indoor tables available. Sat outside freezing. On request they moved us inside for main course.
Seems like just trying to get back on there feet following change of guidelines and a little staff training are all that's needed.
Thanks Simon, we appreciate your feedback. It's been quite a challenge getting opened during these times and we do hope to welcome you back again soon.
Food was amazing.
Service terrible only got offered 2drinks in 2hrs. Cocktails terrible & did not taste nice nor not worth the money.
Hi Laura, We are extremely sorry that you did not receive the service we strive to deliver. We will follow this up with the team, please can you let us know when you visited in order to look into this further.

Review is for outside dining. Great place to go if you have your dig - very dog friendly. Menu limited due to restrictions however all very nice. Staff are so friendly
Thanks Sheena for your comments. We will re-open fully on 17th May with indoor dining and our full menu.
Great service and lovely to be back. I had the veggie burger and it was one of the best I’ve ever had. Highly recommend it 😊
Thanks Fiona for your lovely comments and we are delighted you enjoyed your veggie burger.
Great service and food. Friemdly staff and a warm. Welcome
Thanks Hayley for the great rating and review, we very much appreciate your comments
We used the beer garden, didn't have food. Service slow. Had to ask to be served, and took 40mins for 1st round to arrive.
Thank you Alison, we will follow this up with the team as it not the level of service we strive to deliver. We do hope to welcome you back again in the future.
Was so nice everyone was so accommodating and the staff were lovely. The food was nice and not shy about the portions
Thanks for the lovely comments Liam, we are delighted to hear you enjoyed the food and service.
