Average Sunday roast, expensive for the portion size, wouldn’t go back in a hurry even if service was very good
Came for lunch on a Saturday, a few noisy kids which is expected. Service and food very good indeed , have been before and will come again.
Amazing meat roasts and the best nut roast I've ever had. Great service, beers and inn. Will definitely be back soon. Thank you
Third but disappointing visit. Noisy table guests behind us ruined the visit. Noisy women and then a walking baby.
Food was mediocre maybe due to number of bookings. Could not eat brownie as it was cooked to a biscuit. This was taken off charge. Burger was just average for the price.
Waitress was wonderful and helpful. Lovely and bright young lady. Best part of the visit.
We had Sunday lunch at the Inn at Maybury and all thoroughly enjoyed the occasion. The food and service could not have been better. They offered a good range of traditional Sunday lunch roasts, including the “trio” which was a mix of three meats. Definitely to be recommended for those with a hearty appetite.
To follow we selected the mini dessert with coffee, which was excellent and much larger than the expected “mini”.
A great pub lunch and we will definitely return.
Beautiful Food and really good service
Desert was a disappointment - they normally do a really good crumble but this was tasteless and very very chewy
A lovely meal of Fried Brie starter, Lamb Kofta and Tiramisu. Evening greatly helped by the fact you can pop in to the bar area to enjoy the band afterwards. Staff were attentive and friendly throughout. Very little to pick fault on
Food lovely as always. Service was much slower than usual.
Fantastic food and service - a very enjoyable evening.
We were disappointed as we were expecting a gastro pub’s experience and it was simple pub food. Nothing special and not fine food. The food was ok but nothing compared to other gastro pubs in the area.
great staff and always accommadating. Disappointed as it was a Tuesday no French sauvignon blanc and only one sea bass left. It was for my parents and they don't get out much, they both choose the sea bass and one of them was disappointed. Also burger bun on the wagu burger was very uninspiring just a dry sesame seeded bap!
Lovely restaurant, staff very friendly & good service. Excellent menu & food was served hot & nicely presented.
The lamb koftas dish is not as good as previously when it included tsatsiki and hummus dips and a salad with delicious citrus dressing. On Wednesday unfortunately the lamb was dry and the flatbread hard. The rack of lamb was good but the vegetables were not as varied as previously when I had this dish. I would recommend the Inn based on past experience, which we have used many times, but on this occasion it was disappointing and, frankly, overpriced. The service, however, was very good.
Nice business lunch
The menu here has become dull- needs a bit of originality
Good food with excellent service from a very friendly group of staff.
This really is one of my favorite places to eat ... the food is exceptionally good and the staff are great, and really accommodating. We arrived on mother's day for lunch with our 5 month old and dispute a mix up and them not knowing she was with us they found us a great table that suited despite having a busy restraunt. Would highly recommend this place to all.
Had a girls lunch, staff very attentive, equally left us alone to chat. Made us feel very welcome, we stayed a while and great to finish with hot drink and mini desserts, just enough without over indulging. Will definitely return.
Was understaffed and inexperienced staff on the day so maybe should try again.
Could not have wished for better quality of food or quality of servce, the service in particular being outstanding.
went for my daughters birthday which was on a Sunday, three of us had the roast which were very good indeed. One of us a vegetarian wanted a halloumi burger which was not on the menu however the waiter said it would not be a problem and it was great. Plus they charged £2 less than the beef burger for the bespoke plate of food so we though that very fair.
Service was poor, our table was in a quiet part of restaurant so 'out of sight, out of mind.....
