The Italian Club Fish Restaurant
The Italian Club Fish is our take on fish, a marriage between British and Italian styles, heavily influenced by our Scottish - Italian background.
As a Fish Caffé, many of our ingredients are subject to availability. We will always endeavor to bring you a like for like product! All our dishes are prepared from fresh, so it may take a little longer, but will be worth the wait.
The basis of our cooking, is extra virgin oil, freshly prepared vegetables and fish stocks, that render our dishes light and healthy.

We travelled to Liverpool and researching "Seafood" restaurants we opted for Italian Club Fish - excellent choice with great service and fantastic food. We will return and would highly recommend. The food was reasonably priced (perhaps except the specials) fresh and delicious.
Been before did not disappoint xxx recommend to my friends and it did not disappoint xx
We went for a Birthday meal, this was our second visit - and it definitely won’t be our last. Fantastic menu, attentive and informative staff, beautifully presented food.
The food was absolutely amazing. If you love seafood - this is the place to go. Highly recommended!
I went with my friend and both our daughters. It was Saturday night so it was busy. Both the food and the service was fantastic. We went especially for the fish and it didn't let us down. There was a good selection of wine. I would definitely recommend and we will be going again ad all our husbands were jealous.
This has to be the finest Italian restaurant in Liverpool. Wonderful Italian food cooked and served with true Italian passion. Can't wait to come again...
Just stay at Liverpool for 1 night, lucky we select The Italian Club Fish Restaurant. Valued for money, good food and services. Surprising good, not only fresh ingredients, but also tasty cooking. One more highlight, restaurant did offer starter size. It is situational for small group or couple who want to enjoy more dishes.
We are Asian Couple, and order Oyster, Risotte, Scallop starter. Delicious.
Lovely fresh seafood cooked well. Staff were lovely as was the atmosphere
Hard to find a seafood restaurant in Liverpool but this was great. Close to the city centre so easy to find if you don't know the area. It was very busy pre-theatre so noisy and bustling - not my favourite atmosphere for a restaurant, but the food was fabulous and the service attentive. Would visit again, and would definitely recommend.
as a visitor from Germany I booked this place in advance for a special occasion because of the menu (seen online) and I was more than pleased. Would come back every day if I could, for the freshness of food and the hospitality.
Being our first visit to Liverpool we went on general searches for fish restaurants, and being an oyster lover this tipped the balance. On arrival it has a lovely authentic buzzy atmosphere, friendly staff and quick to take our drinks order. I fell in love immediately, the menu had lots of tasty fish and pasta dishes with a good wine selection by glass and bottle. I had the oysters which were Devine, husband opting for traditional prawn cocktail which was given an 'okay'. For mains we ordered Turbut, fries and chilli and garlic samphire, and the royal fish pie. These where both unfortunately disappointing, the turbut was nicely seared but nothing special, fries where chunky anaemic chips with a wilted and sad looking samphire on the side. Presentation disappointing, cooking and flavour adverage at best. Husbands fish pie was presented in quite a shallow dish, with plenty of good mash leaving not very much depth for fish, of which the advertised lobster was elusive. Apart from the oysters I'm afraid we could have cooked theses dishes to a better standard at home, sorry.
Unfortunately, a disappoint visit. Starters we’re good. Main course was too salty, over priced and not as described. Seafood Risotto started ‘shellfish, prawns and langoustines’ there was 1 prawn and 1 langoustine and some tiny muscles and clams, far too salty and cost almost £16. Wine was not very chilled. Profiterole was stale. The toilet had ripped wallpaper and the restaurant itself had chipped paintwork, not a good luck. Husband said he hoped the kitchen was cleaner than the men’s toilet. rip off Britain at its best (and British) Won’t revisit sorry.
Booked a table for 4 for my birthday. Charming, helpful & friendly service. Interesting & varied menu, with a number of daily specials. Food was delicious & well presented, with fresh ingredients. Really high standard of cuisine, washed down with an excellent bottle of Gavi di Gavi. Couldn't fault it!
Delicious fish and seafood. Excellent service. Will definitely go again if I'm in the area. Would recommend to any fish lover.
First time visit to Liverpool, restaurant recommended by a foodie friend of a friend who lives in Liverpool.
There were six of us and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals.
We all enjoyed our meals, the fish pie was delicious. Wine list was good and service was very friendly and efficient.i would definitely recommend for a group dinner. We were 4 and it was really delightful. Thanks.
Booked this restaurant for my daughters 25th birthday treat, she has recently given up meat in favour of fish. She ate Oysters for the first time in her life and absolutely loved them, I think I have unleashed a monster! All in all lovely meal, great service and a great evening had by our party of six. Will be back.
excellent food and service - fish was very nice indeed . Felt a little rushed at first but they slowed down when requested to do so and were very friendly and attentive.
Great restaurant. We often have a meal there.Peaceful, quiet and very friendly staff. In Fact.It is the only restaurant I do recommend.
Disappointing after seeing very good reviews. Langoustines were overcooked, fish pie main seemed to have been frozen and reheated as sauce was very watery.
Pudding of lemon meringue pie was awful. Obviously bought in. A pity.
Exceptionally friendly staff, both courteous and efficient, Prices were competitive especially as seafood has expensive components and were served promptly. Seasoning was fine and quality of food was good.good atmosphere in the restaurant and worth a visit.
This was a return visit and the food was, once again, exceptional. Will plan to return soon!!
We shared the seafood platter, the mussels were superb, the lobster, langistino and crab were great, the prawns were overcooked and rubbery.
Celebrating a friends birthday. It was just outstanding and a wonderful evening. Service was impeccable very attentive but not intrusive. Menu was varied and as far as their specialty the fish was the best we have experienced in a long time. Recommendations for desserts were spot on.
Wonderful selection of seafood of all kinds, great service. I would recommend booking a table as it was quite popular.
This was our first time at the Italian Club Fish restaurant so we weren't sure what to expect in terms of environment. The restaurant is very small so the tables are very close together and therefore the noise level is quite high. However, the fish was very good (battered prawns, king prawns, lemon sole and halibut), well presented, good price, and well cooked. Desserts were large so you need to save a space if you normally have them! Also for once the wine was reasonably priced without the usual high markup.
The staff were friendly and helpful as well so this helped with the feel of the place. We'll definitely be back when we're next in the area.
Superb seafood, in a space all on its own. Every aspect of our meal was excellent.
We thought the food was acceptable but have made equivalent or better at home.
We were shocked to see that an 'optional' 10% service charge had been added to our bill. We did not see any indication of this on the Menu. This added over £15 to the total cost for four people. We requested that this be removed from the bill and it was. We left a gratuity that we felt was appropriate.
Fantastic food, and fantastic atmosphere. Waiting staff are very helpful and kind as well!
Restaurant is fairly rustic but appealing although a bit cramped. Food was excellent, especially the mixed fish grill and hot skillet. Will go back.
Had a really lovely to and enjoyed all the dishes we ate.
Best fish restaurant in Liverpool. Well priced and cooked to perfection. Staff are great
Very relaxing and enjoyable meal for my Son's birthday. Staff were very helpful and attentive.
Wonderful find! We had a fabulous dinner at a reasonable cost with excellent, friendly service - what more could one want?
Poor selection of white dry wine. Tonic poured into gin without asking ruined drink
We enjoyed delicious food ! especially a big lobster!!
Lovely cosy feel to this restaurant food and wine is really good, and reasonably priced with very good portions. Very good service my friends hadn't been here before but they will be back.
Great, would definitely recommend. The scallops in shells were amazing with breadcrumbs. Had the crab risotto and the only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was the risotto was not so much like risotto, perhaps a bit over cooked.
I attended for dinner as part of a group of 7. We enjoyed a fantastic meal, with the steak being a particular favourite amongst our group. The calamari & prawn starter was also fantastic.
We were well looked after and enjoyed a fantastic meal with the biggest surprise being about how reasonably priced the bill was.
Definitely worth a visit! We will be back.
Everything about this restaurant is excellent the wonderful friendly professional staff, atmosphere, decor, and the superb menu and quality of the food (the kitchen team needs a special mention often forgotten!😉)
I have eaten here on numerous occasions and will continue to do so, well done to everyone involved !!!😘
Food and service were excellent and very reasonably priced.
Will definately return soon!
