The Italian Club Fish Restaurant
The Italian Club Fish is our take on fish, a marriage between British and Italian styles, heavily influenced by our Scottish - Italian background.
As a Fish Caffé, many of our ingredients are subject to availability. We will always endeavor to bring you a like for like product! All our dishes are prepared from fresh, so it may take a little longer, but will be worth the wait.
The basis of our cooking, is extra virgin oil, freshly prepared vegetables and fish stocks, that render our dishes light and healthy.

Fantastic food, and fantastic atmosphere. Waiting staff are very helpful and kind as well!
Restaurant is fairly rustic but appealing although a bit cramped. Food was excellent, especially the mixed fish grill and hot skillet. Will go back.
Had a really lovely to and enjoyed all the dishes we ate.
Best fish restaurant in Liverpool. Well priced and cooked to perfection. Staff are great
Very relaxing and enjoyable meal for my Son's birthday. Staff were very helpful and attentive.
Wonderful find! We had a fabulous dinner at a reasonable cost with excellent, friendly service - what more could one want?
Poor selection of white dry wine. Tonic poured into gin without asking ruined drink
We enjoyed delicious food ! especially a big lobster!!
Lovely cosy feel to this restaurant food and wine is really good, and reasonably priced with very good portions. Very good service my friends hadn't been here before but they will be back.
Great, would definitely recommend. The scallops in shells were amazing with breadcrumbs. Had the crab risotto and the only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was the risotto was not so much like risotto, perhaps a bit over cooked.
I attended for dinner as part of a group of 7. We enjoyed a fantastic meal, with the steak being a particular favourite amongst our group. The calamari & prawn starter was also fantastic.
We were well looked after and enjoyed a fantastic meal with the biggest surprise being about how reasonably priced the bill was.
Definitely worth a visit! We will be back.
Everything about this restaurant is excellent the wonderful friendly professional staff, atmosphere, decor, and the superb menu and quality of the food (the kitchen team needs a special mention often forgotten!😉)
I have eaten here on numerous occasions and will continue to do so, well done to everyone involved !!!😘
Food and service were excellent and very reasonably priced.
Will definately return soon!
Found online prior to visiting Liverpool for the day. Very cute, cosy atmosphere with an amazing seafood menu. All the dishes were tasty, fresh and flavourful. A great spot to meet with friends and family!
An absolute diamond find , this is amongst the finest fish restaurants I’ve ever eaten in . Everything was fab , food , service and ambiance. Will definitely come back when visiting Liverpool again
fantastic food - very authentic - could not fault . Seafood very fresh
It had been a while since we’d last visited Italian Club Fish and we won’t be leaving it as long next time. I’m always worried going back to places I like .... but no need to worry here. Fantastic ambience, great service and beautiful food. 4 of us eating and to start bread, olives, a fish pasta and spaghetti vongole - all great. Mains of 2 fish pies (hearty and tasty) and the turbot and hake from the specials menu - both fantastic. Wine is really reasonably priced. Couldn’t fault a single thing - 10/10 from ALL of us.
When we made a reservation I thought it would have been another standard restaurant. I have been to Italy and tasted traditional dishes and this restaurant just blows your mind. Seriously, every dish is beautifully prepared, the wine list was great and well balanced given the food available.
My mum has never travelled to Italy and I could say, "Mum, this is exactly what food should taste like and more".
The scallops were amazing and so was the octopus!
The waiter helped me choose what to eat and he recommend two great dishes. Took care of us, brought dessert (to die for) and called the taxi to take us home. What more could we ask for. Thank you for making us welcome.
Loved it , genuine, beautiful and well worth a visit.
FANTASTIC FOOD, BEST CHIPS I’VE EVER EATEN
Lovely food, very relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommend restaurant and look forward to returning soon
Excellent service and awareness of food allergies to cater around. They were happy to remove seafood from shells for us. Very good food. Busy place so tables rather close but we met a lovely couple through that.
We would go back to this friendly restaurant if in Liverpool again.
Great food with a super atmosphere. Really varied menu and super quick service.
Can’t recommend this restaurant enough , The food is so nice , will be going back again soon ..
I had not been to this restaurant before and I wasn't 100% as my friend and I wanted to go to a fish restaurant. The food we had was lovely and quick service. Wine was lovely also. Would recommend this restaurant. It was early 9around 4pm) so it wasn't too busy either.
Lovely food in a cosy inviting atmosphere. Huge portions and excellent service
As ever The Italian Fish Club Restaurant never fails to deliver wonderful service in a great environment varied menu beautifully cooked and the best oysters ever!!
I have eaten here many times and would highly recommend
The hospitality industry is hard work and I must congratulate ever member of this venues staff for making each visit as pleasurable as the last
My son regularly eats here, this was my first time and it won't be the last time, really enjoyed the meal
Always enjoy eating here. Interesting menu - even if you don't like fish! Staff are helpful and friendly.
Fantastic busy restaurant with very good fresh food and something for everyone on the menu.
Heard good things about this place and was not disappointed.
Enjoyable but would have been even better if they were expecting us! Even though I booked through open table we were not booked in and the restaurant didn’t have a clue we were coming! Bit embarrassing as it was my birthday and I had organised it, fortunately they did fit us in but I did feel as though we were a bit of a problem on arrival.
This was our second visit, and the quality and cooking of fish was superb last time. This time most of the fish had sold, as it was Sunday night. Disappointing for us, but a good sign that the fish is bought fresh. Mondays may present the same problem. The scallops we had were perfectly cooked , with delicious garnish. Faultless. Brilliantly grilled monkfish for me, an lovely John Dory for my husband, although a simpler method of cooking would have suited the fish better, and showcased its quality.
Still.. this is an excellent place, with super friendly, enthusiastic and knowledgable staff. Will be back!
Great Meal with good Friends in a Great Restaurant!
Excellent food selection, very helpful staff, nice surroundings.
When Frank Sinatra, Al Pacino and Sly Stallone look down on you from the walls you know you are in a restaurant with roots in Italy. No surprise then to find an eclectic mix of traditional pastas with adventurous sauces, simple ingredients and flavours that transport you to the heat of Sicily or the light breezes of the Amalfi coast. First visit certainly did not disappoint. Early evening I'm sure the atmosphere livens up as the restaurant gets busy, we were only one of the three tables occupied. The food exceptional. So much better than a number of high profile Italian restaurants in Liverpool.
Lovely meal and service on our second visit to this restaurant
Excellent and enjoying food. Well recommended fish great
Food was nice in parts. Service was ok. Friendly staff. Very pricey menu. Took my son out for a treat as he had been struggling with his GCSEs and adores fish. Didn't realise until after we ordered, that there is a small sign on the bar that says "Service charge charged at a discretionary rate, regardless of table size". It really is too. They charged us 10% service charge, which I can only assume is because I asked for a side plate for my son to eat his food off, as he had ordered a hot sizzling platter, and I didn't want him to get burnt. If I'd known it was going to be so expensive, I'd have gone got him a plate myself. I'm just glad it was only the two of us, imagine the charge they'd have given if I had taken my other son and husband too! My budget hadn't accounted for the restaurant thinking they deserved a £6 tip. Not authentic feeling either, having to suffer through listening to Adele warble away nice and loud while we tried to eat was not pleasant. Not great value for money this restaurant. The prawns are really nice though. Won't visit again, unless we win the lottery.
The food was very good wide choice of fish. However we were packed in like sardines and that spoiled the experience waiting staff average.
