The Italian Club Restaurant
Consistently good food and excellent service . A bit chilly sat near the door on a winters evening
Lovely food and great service! Would go back any day of the week it was great value for money as well
Excellent meal , lovely staff, food and atmosphere
Our second visit to this restaurant. Good food and outstanding service in a welcoming, family-friendly environment.
Positive points...….Love this place. Food is amazing. Went with a group of 7 people who all had a different dish. Everyone of us thoroughly enjoyed their meal which is unusual in a crowd. Staff are lovely and efficient. Nice ambience. Great prices.
Negative points..... Toilets are down a steep flight of stairs and only one toilet for the Ladies. Funny noise from the plumbing too. Service charge of 10% was automatically added to the bill and we were not informed beforehand so check your bill before leaving a tip.(That maybe because there was 7 of us as I haven't noticed that in the past)
Saw this restaurant while walking down Bold street and immediately liked the look of it so booked a table on-line when I got home. the food a lovely I had the garlic prawns for a starter and instead of the usual pasta or pizza I had the chicken and roast potatoes, my partner had the bruschetta and a chicken pasta in a creamy sauce. the service was excellent and the ambiance of the restaurant was good. The one criticism I have would be that the tables are a bit too close to each other.
We enjoyed a lovely Italian meal with great food and at reasonable prices. The staff were friendly and welcoming on arrival and were very attentive throughout the meal.
We visited on a Friday evening and the atmosphere was lively, but not too noisy.
Lovely food and very pleasant staff. The only downside was the restaurant was too bright.
Great food and service ! Would definitely recommend
Staff friendly, food excellent, very busy so would recommend booking in advance
Very good as usual but still think the tables for two are a bit small and very near each other. struggled with having wine and water with our meal .
We both had a main meal and a prawn dish together and we had to put water and wine bottle on floor.
Asked for a bigger table but was refused even though one was free.
Planed to book a table at The Italian Club Fish which is a much better restaurant with similar name, but the link on their Google Maps page directed me to book this one. I don’t know whether it’s Google’s fault or OpenTable’s. Generally speaking the food here was not bad. Just be careful if you wish to book a table at The Italian Club Fish, don’t use the link on Google Maps.
Great atmosphere and excellent service. The food was outstanding
Food was gorgeous couldn’t fault it and service was amazing and friendly
The Italian Club is a well-established, authentic, Italian family-run restaurant. The varied menu includes daily specials, as well as an a la carte menu. The pasta dishes are particularly tasty and hearty and the pizzas are as good as you can find. To top it all there's draft Moretti beer! What more do you need? Ideally placed for the nearby Picturehouse at FACT Cinema - Picturehouse members get a reduction at the restaurant on production of their membership card. Great value all round!
I booked this restaurant for a catch with my friends. The staff were really helpful, food delicious and we weren't rushed out after we'd finished our meals.
Excellent food. Welcoming friendly, at tentative staff.
We had a lovely time and were made very welcome by the friendly and happy staff. Food was great as was the wine! We will eat there again-soon I hope.😀👍
I cannot say anything bad about this restaurant.
Pizzas are quite good and homemade with really good ingredients.
The restaurant is lovely and all our food arrived quickly. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. I will definitely be returning.
Fantastic staff and great food at a reasonable cost
Great food at great prices, like it's sister restaurant The Italian Fish Club. Staff are all really friendly and go out of their way to help and chat. While the ingredients are not like they are in Italy, they do a fantastic job with what they can get here. It was great italian cuisine and I can't wait to go back
We loved The Italian Club - it is friendly, casual but with a great buzzing atmosphere . The food is good Italian, tasty and plenty of it. It is not fine dining but just what we wanted after a busy day site seeing. The service is great and makes you feel part of the family. We will definitely be back.
Fantastic food especially regarding the price. One of the best restaurants in Liverpool that doesn't charge a fortune. Service us also superb.
Very busy restaurant, good service very nice food at good price.Only one bad point tables too close together.
The food and staff as always were excellent. Excellent value, good portion sizes and delicious food. Our favourite restaurant in Liverpool.
Attended as part of a party of 7 for breakfast. We arrived early, and our table was ready for us. Service was quick, efficient and we got excellent value for money.
Not much not to like - great service, relaxed atmosphere, fantastic food, excellent value x
Well cooked food, nicely presented. Good atmosphere. Wine reasonably priced. Suits all types of groups and age.
Good food, attentive staff and nice surroundings. We have been here several times and never been let down.
Awesome, amazing food, will defo return next time in town.
Lovely relaxed atmosphere, authentic, well cooked Italian food which wasn't overly fancy but was tasty, plentiful and fantastic value for money. We will be back!
Ambience was good with friendly staff. Food was of average quality.

Staff friendly, food fantastic and atmosphere lively..what
More can I say. We are taking friends back when they visit us in May
Visited on a Friday night with 10 people in the party All guests fully enjoyed their meal and would visit again . Easy booking through open table and efficient.
Pre-theatre family meal. Kids and adults enjoyed the good quality, unfussy food very much. Excellent, friendly service from attentive but not intrusive staff.
I have been to this restaurant before and as usual a really nice meal. Value for money and a great atmosphere I will be returning soon.
This is by far one of the best restaurants in Liverpool. The food is always amazing, so fresh and scrumptious and a good selection of wines. We dine here regularly, for a quite bite to eat and also for a night out.
Booked for a birthday meal close to the philharmonic. Nice buzzy atmosphere, good menu choices, I tried two wines which were excellent. We had three courses and coffee, all were fresh, tasty and delicious. The only point I marked down on was we queried a possible vegetarian dish and the waitress couldn't answer our question, we had to ask her to ask in the kitchen, which she duly did. So maybe the waiting staff need some briefing on ingredients.
