Been to this restaurant on several occasions...always excellent food choices from the standard menu to the "Specials" board. Service always good ...leave you to peruse at your leisure and there when required.
Would recommend this place for good Italian food and sociable ambiance.

We were a table of 5 people celebrating 2 birthdays so we had 5 different starters & mains & they all tasted fabulous. The ambience was great & the restaurant was busy but the service was excellent. I always judge an Italian restaurant on its pate & mine was delicious. Our pasta mains were freshly cooked & the sauce on my husband's chicken main was to die for (we all had a taste) I can't comment on desserts as we were too full by then! Everything was washed down with 2 bottles of excellent rose. We look forward to our next visit.

This restaurant called 2mminutes before our arrival on a very rainy evening and cancelled our reservation claiming they had 'walk-in' business and refused to give us a table we had reserved! They should be removed from your platform. I have not been denied a reserved table in 30 years of dining out! Shame!

The Italian Way is our family favourite, all the pizzas and calzones are cooked to order, the focaccia starter is very good. BYOB keeps the overall cost in check but it is all value for money.

Great authentic food. Have visited a number of times and the food has always been excellent. You can 'bring your own' wine which is always a benefit

I have been here before and food was good. However, this time it was overpriced and underwhelming. Friend had pasta with king prawns which was OK. I had pieces of fillet steak ordered medium to rare. They were overcooked first time but OK when replaced. Not worth what else paid and would therefore be coming back

we hadn't been back to the Italian Way for a long time until recently but now it will be back on our regulars.
Good food, we both had pasta with clams, couldn't fault it, the house red is highly drinkable, and the friendly staff are extremely welcoming.
