Lovely atmosphere, food was amazing, although I bit hard to understand the menu but staff we on hand to explain. Food came as and when ready and all tasted amazing, for a year or a celebration meal definitely go again

I had the most fantastic lunch with my daughter. The food was delicious and the place is beautifully decorated - I couldn't get over the light coming through the floor. What an experience, would definitely recommend.

Haven’t got a bad word to say. Our service from our waiter, Oliver, was outstanding and the food was absolutely out of this world! It is pricey but not extortionate and you get exactly what you pay for. The venue is also an experience in its self, so so beautiful! We went for my partners birthday and they all made sure to say Happy Birthday and also gave us a little birthday treat with some mochi for free, it was a lovely touch. Would highly recommend to anyone considering!

We had a fantastic evening at Ivy Asia Cardiff. The drinks, food and staff were particularly excellent. Our waitress Heather provided attentive service and made great recommendations for food. Particular highlights were the cocktails, sesame prawn toasts and crispy chicken lettuce wraps.

Beautiful food and venue. Staff all amazing. We did get forgotten about as there was a shift change but the new member of staff came straight over and offered us a complimentary drink each which was nice. Our food then arrived shortly after so didn’t mind the wait in between. Will definitely come back. I did also notify when booking it was my fiancées birthday but as our food was delayed we didn’t have time to order a desert and have a happy birthday dish (which the two tables around us had) which was a shame.

Booked table for 4/15 for Asian Afternoon Tea sat down just before 5 o’clock but waited another 20 minutes before food arrived , would you like water yes please ,it never arrived although we asked a few times would you like your coffee with your desserts yes please ,guess what we had finished our desserts coffee arrived although we asked a few times can we have the bill another 15 minutes ,absolutely appalling we were booked to see a show so a little shopping first but that never happened ,so has you can see we wasted our money, and being a pensioner money is hard t c

Beautiful place. We ate outside. It was heated and well lit. Would love to eat inside. I had the duck curry and my husband ate the black cod. Both delicious. We were looked after by Precious. She was very attentive and smiled throughout. I loved it and will definitely return. Thank you

The Aromatic Duck did go cold a little too quickly. However the service was outstanding and our pre dinner cocktails were taken off our bill due us having to wait 30 mins for our table. Which really wasn't a problem for us. Would have liked more authentic music 🎶

The decor was out of this world but unfortunately the place lacked atmosphere. The wine we ordered was out of stock, had another 4 attempts at ordering and each were out of stock. Eventually, picked one that was available! The presentation of food was excellent. The aromatic duck was delicious, the remaining courses & small plates were quite average and uninspiring. Felt that presentation of dishes was amazing but the substance of the food was less enticing We have dined in far better Asian Restaurants costing less. You are paying for the name 'The Ivy', The decor and presentation. I won't be returning

An excellent first visit toIvy Asia Cardiff. Entrance was a little slow due to complication with other customer. This was the only blip on the whole evening. All staff were very friendly. Excellent advice was given by our waiter. Waitresses were very keen to ensure that we were happy throughout. The dishes we were helped ordering were very enjoyable. Portion sizes were good and we had ordered just the right amount. The coconut donuts for dessert were fantastic. A very enjoyable evening.

We love Ivy Asia, the restaurant is beautiful, we spot something new with the decor every time we visit. The food really cannot be surpassed - the flavours are so intense and the sharing concept means trying new things, you will never be disappointed!
