The food was very good however we felt a bit squashed in and asked to move to a particular table as it was free and the restaurant was only 60-70% full. The waiter said said it’s should be fine and the next thing you know another couple was placed there and the waiter didn’t even come and apologise or explain why we we still sat in that spot which had no privacy and was too close to other diners. I was also surprised that nothing special was done for birthdays .
I was really disappointed this time round. We had been here a few times before and was impressed and suggested going for my little sisters 21st birthday. I rung up multiple time to amend the booking from 6 to 7 people but every time I was told that they wasn’t able to and they were fully booked. When we got there the table was more then big enough to cater for 7 people! We actually had a spare seat for the whole dinner. And the restaurant wasn’t fully booked either! Really disappointed.
Great experience, food was amazing and our waiter was fantastic so attentive but not overbearing, really engaging and funny
This was my second time coming to the Ivy Asia and it was amazing just like before, amazing food and great service. For food we had Korean bbq lamb cutlets, California Roll, Prawn Tempura, Buttermilk fried chicken, Black Cod, Scallops and BBQ Pork, Kimchi Egg Fried Rice. Next time I want to try the Bone in Korean fried chicken and the Duck massaman curry. Will definitely be come again.
Cute restaurant with amazing decor!
Food was also quite tasty considering I have heard mixed reviews, I was utterly pleased with our choices. Staff were friendly, especially Omar and music was also good. Will be back again soon!
Birthday celebrations . Great venue, excellent food with fantastic atmosphere.
Poor service
Amazing venue. Superb total venue experience. This place is 10/10
Beautiful setting. Food good, but served at different times, could have been hotter. Service was adequate but not what you would expect. The noise level of the music was far too high - couldn’t have a conversation without shouting.
Excellent ambience, attentive service, delicious food. An excellent dining experience.
The restaurant wasn't full but it was very noisy and difficult to hear even on a small table for two. The food didn't taste of very much and the waiter couldn't hear/understand most of the time.
We were literally thrown out of the restaurant due the 1hr 45min slot being over even though there were a number of tables empty!
Fab food and atmosphere
very good restaurant, very tasty food, good staff, interior 20/10
Excellent restaurant with a cool vibe, great food and cocktails and a wonderful view of St Paul’s. Would definitely go back. Loved the soft shell crab and prawn dumplings with foam.
The deco man ambience is outstanding. Very good food and service. At nights the is a DJ and girls dancing on podiums. Is romantic but is not quiet. Really entertaining.
Food and ambience was great. Staff was rude and walked off half way through ordering our meal
Lovely venue - it was our anniversary I requested to be sat at a good table - we sat right by the window overlooking St Pauls! Food was absolutely lovely although we DEFINITELY over-ordered (which we always do) - they are very generous portions. Service was great, bathrooms were clean and well decorated and they have a great selection of wines and cocktails!
Girlfriend in town from Madrid. Her name is Paula. She is amazing.
The service was outstanding the ambience was very nice, the food was excellent although a little expensive, but a lovely location and view
Good things: Interior design is breathtaking; Warm welcome at reception; Food was amazing
Bad things: our waiter was very surly and didn't smile once; the music was so loud that it was almost impossible to hold a conversation - fine in a nightclub but not good when you're eating a meal.
Only issue was slightly slow to be attended to by waiters.
Food was incredible but popcorn shrimp was not as generously coated with sauce as per my last visit in February..
Other than this I love this place!!!!
Excellent food, presentation and ambiance. Servers seemed to be overwhelmed in the middle of our meal, but the staff was responsive when we asked.
Celebrating my boyfriends birthday. Great ambiance and experience.
The food was lovely apart from the kimchi egg fried rice. The service was great. The vibe wad great. The cocktails were great too. I'm definitely coming back.
Excellent night overlooking St' Pauls. Highly recommended for an evening with friends
Overall had a nice meal however rating was brought down by waiting 30 mins for a table I had already reserved?? They seemed very disorganised with reservations as a few people who went in at the same time as us also waited quite long and we were taken to the kitchen area because the bar area was full, where no one even asked us if we would like any drinks whist waiting until 20 mins in. It seemed a bit chaotic as the restaurant was packed on a saturday.
The meal itself was good and didn't have to wait too long for the food. Cocktails were also nice. We had a really nice waitress who was friendly so that made the experience a bit better.
Would recommend for the food and cocktails, hopefully the table chaos improves.
Service, surroundings and food were absolutely lovely. I could not fault a single thing. The sirloin was cooked to perfection, prawns tempura soft and delicious and the duck curry was simple yet well executed. I can’t wait to return
The food was really good (I recommend the pork and kimchi dumplings and the duck masaman curry). However the service was very poor, it took us 45 minutes to be seated and various dishes we ordered didn’t arrive or were wrong when they finally arrived and waiter didn’t seem to care. All the staff are rude, from the front of house to the various bouncers in there, that make you feel like you are in a low-end night club. I understand it is a chain restaurant but it’s really poor in comparison to other Ivy restaurants. Overall bad experience and think there are better Asian inspired restaurants in London in the same price category.
Delicious food- very friendly bar staff and great atmosphere.
What a wonderful new restaurant. From the moment you walk in you get superb service. Special thanks to Antonio who looked after us so well. Thd decor and ambience in the place was very special. I can't wait to go back again.
Food was fantastic as was atmosphere!
We had to pour our own wine. Not once did the waiter pour it for us. Even when I ordered a second bottle my glass was empty but the bottle was just placed on the table with no regard for our empty glasses.
Loved the place and the food was good. Lots of vegetarian options.
Excellent service at a very busy period. And any complaints or issues we had it was resolved quickly. Plus food was delicious
Our waiter was the best! Didn’t catch his name but service was amazing and we had the best experience.
Fantastic venue, great atmosphere. Really nice food and not too pricey. Would definitely recommend!
Beautiful venue but staffed by the most ridiculously rude people I’ve encountered. Insane how rude everyone from the doorman to the waitress was. Perhaps they aren’t paying staff enough? It’s a chain guys.. breath a little.
Amazing food and ambience. Can’t wait to go again!
One of the best meals and service we have had. The attention to detail and the special birthday treat made our night
