Once open, our late night restaurant and bar will come alive with an exciting calendar of vibrant entertainment and music, revelry and DJs. Open until 2am on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings, guests will be encouraged to stay and play late into the night.
The food and food service was excellent, very interesting and spicy food served very promptly. The only negative was the first drinks were too slow to arrive. Overall not expensive for the quality of the experience. The decor and views are amazing.
It was an excellent experience overall the food was incredible. Definitely coming back
Fantastic thanks to all the staff
Food was amazing- only down side was 1 of our gusts were gluten free- and options were not ready listed on the menu- waitress had to go away and ask- then only to find there were only a few options.
Good food, great service, reasonable prices, impressive Asian ambience but even at 6:00pm the noise level made conversation difficult thanks to groups of mostly young people raising their voices and shouting to be heard. It is not dissimilar to the noise levels of the mother Ivy restaurant on Marylebone Lane, but there the tables are far too close to each other that in part explains it. Lunch times may be quieter.
Really enjoyed our experience at the Ivy Asia from start to finish. Excellent service, excellent food.
A really enjoyable evening in a very classy restaurant with a perfect outlook of St. Paul’s
Excellent food and ambience and hope it doesn’t change
Best time....great food & drinks
Great decor too
Great food and atmosphere. My only thing is that no one told us that food is coming when ready so we get rice and noodles on the every end
The Ivy Asia is full of drama and theatre from the moment you see the door. The giant Samurai ‘bouncer’ and then the under lit flooring.
The restaurant is spectacular and the view of Sr Paul’s cathedral is great. The food matches the look and feel of the restaurant.
The only thing that lets it down is the really poor service. We waited over 15 minutes for drinks to arrive both times and had to ask twice and since I’ve got home I’ve realised that I’ve been charged for an item on the bill that never arrived.
Fantastic meal, great atmosphere, good service and we will return.
Great ambience, food and staff.
Music a little too loud to be able to chat easily.
Wonderful evening. Fabulous cocktails to start, an excellent wine choice, delicious food (the black dumplings and pork belly were outstanding) and very helpful staff. The music was loud. OK with a table of four of us but could be over bearing if there is a large group as it would be very hard to hear a conversation.
Great food and a stunning atmosphere.
Becoming one of my favourite places.
Food was fantastic and i really loved the decor. Would highly recommend
Music far too loud. Terrible service, a catalogue of errors. Food decent.
Hopefully these are just teething problems however I will not return to find out!
Was very busy at the bar area so hard to wait for the table but we were seated at the chefs bar. Our waiter Juan Felipe was lovely and kept our glasses filled the entire meal!
The ambience made us feel like we were back in Dubai - no bad thing.
The atmosphere was exciting and upbeat - great for a date night.
The food was very good, innovative, and memorable - not at a Nobu or Puma level.
The service was fab - well organised with some great characters.
The location is odd - top of a shopping mall (oh dear) but with a brilliant view of St Pauls (hooray).
We agreed we'd go again.
Went there with my partner, I’ve been for lunch time with my boss as we work in a South East Asian restaurant in the south bank, well the food is amazing, excellent service and absolutely stunning location, most beautiful restaurant I’ve ever been into.
One of the best dining experience of my life so far
Can’t wait to be back!
Love the new Ivy. The vibe is cool and decor is exquisite. However the food is exceptional with delicious cocktails.
Fabulous food and unique decor.
First of all I must say that the food and drinks are very good indeed.
Also the reception at the entrance were very friendly and helpful (they fit an extra guest to our party without a problem).
Sadly the waiting service was very much appealing.
We ordered three glasses of champagne to start which they arrived after the starters and thanks for me since I let our waitress know that they were standing at the counter behind us quite a wile already. She didn’t apologies or say sorry about that.
We than received the “black shell” sushi platter and the same waitress didn’t show us through the sushi selection. We had to call her back and ask her if she could explain the dish.
My friend has a mushroom/truffle intolerance we didn’t mention about that during the reservation process since we supposed be just 2 of us and also we didn’t say to the waitress, that by the way she never asked for any allergy or intolerance, because we planned to order just sushi. Now on top of the yellowtail nigiris there was some truffle , my friend didn’t feel that due of the spicy taste of the popcorn tempura and she ate it. When she realised that we tried to call the waitress several times but she kept looking at us without approaching the table. When we finally had the “chance” to speak with her she just confirmed about the truffle on the nigiri and left. I would have at list asked if everything was fine but, whatever.
We ordered desserts and after few minutes from the order she came back at the table and told us than one of them wasn’t available anymore:”choose something else”, how nice!
We didn’t pay the service charge (I never asked before to remove the service charge anywhere I went in my life) and left. Nobody asked if we enjoyed everything, if everything was ok, why we removed the service, exc.
In the end, greetings/drinks/food very good; waiting staff rude, unprofessional, lacking of good manners and knowledge I would suggest a bit of more training.
Stunning restaurant, worth visiting for the deco alone!
Nice bar area with excellent choice of drinks & attentive bar staff.
Crab bang bang salad - NOT WORTH IT as had hardly any ‘bang bang’ in it
Popcorn shrimp - DELICIOUS
Black truffle pork & prawn dumplings - OK
Korean fried chicken with kimchi rice - EXCELLENT
Rib eye steak - EXCELLENT
Desserts - we had 3, all were excellent but I don’t remember what we had now.
4 glasses of the Ivy champagne & 2 bottles of Shiraz later, we hic’d all the way home.
Staff on the floor whilst there are loads we found our waiter too casual in his demeanour and disconnected in his approach. He seemed to be doing his ‘job’ and that was all.
And due to that for the first time ever, I asked him to retract the service fee that was automatically added to our bill.
Great food but the service could be better as we were put at quite a small table for 4 and there was a bigger table but were told it’s for 5 people. It was still empty when we left. We ended up with too many dishes and the table cannot accommodate all the food coming at once... Perhaps they should have come back and offered us the table when those people didn’t turn up. We did have a lovely manager later on in the evening who came and asked if we enjoyed our meal. Overall, we enjoyed it and the place has amazing decor!
Amazing service and delicious food! Went on a Sunday afternoon and was surprised that it wasn’t as busy as I thought it would be which was great. Great views. Ask for a window table.
food was all served at once so hot food got cold = servers looked confused
The food was just amazing ! I have a number of tricky food allergies but our waiter - Raz - was patient and most helpful .. Duck Massaman curry was the best. We eat at the Ivy Cafe chain often but this was by far the best.. despite limitations on what I could eat (no nuts/Soya) I had a super tasty meal. Sharing dessert platter was also great ! Definitely going back with the family 🤩
Amazing ambience; good energy and a great array of lovely food.
On the noisier side with the plethora of fantastic entertainment; yet definitely acceptable.
One of the best visual and audio dining experiences. The food was just above average, but worth going again just for the ambience.
A very disappointing experience. The restaurant felt very cold, the music was way too loud to chat. Service was hit & miss mains brought out as starters & vica versa, probably due to the volume of the music the staff could not hear us. Drinks didn’t turn up. Very overpriced, dishes described as larger not very large you then have to add rice & veg so overall most mains become very expensive. Lastly it all just felt really rushed. The only slight positive was the decor but the way to the toilets is not very practical as you have to pass the serving area & sliding doors letting in blasts of cold air!!
Amazing food, atmosphere and service. Couldn’t fault a thing. If you love interior design and live entertainment as you dine this place is a must - incredible bartenders, front of house and waiting staff were super professional and friendly. Will definitely be coming back for many more visits! Highly recommend the truffle pork gyozas too ;)
A group of friends and I went there for lunch. The Small hot meals were excellent and wonderful flavours. The large meals were also nice but not as much as the small ones. The cocktails were great and a large number to choose from.
Although I enjoyed the music I thunk it was a bit too loud for the time we visited.
I think our reservation timing was also as the waiters changed over and therefore service was not great for a period of time during our visit .
However we had a fabulous time and maybe I will choose a different time when i visit again .
Nice venue and location great ambience but the food wasn’t quite on point sea bass was over cooked and dry
Amazing food, music, drinks, decor- this place is incredible
First class venue in spectacular location. Would highly recommend.
Went for a birthday dinner. Drinks were amazing however the music while you dine is so loud especially early on at 7pm. It was so difficult to hear each other speak that it ruined our dinner as we were seated next to the DJ. The massam curry was great and black cod. We decided not to have dessert as by this point the DJ was way too loud.
Loved loved loved IvyAsia and will be returning very soon! Food was amazing, atmosphere really good and the decor ...wow! My only slight criticism is the waiter was very quick to remove our empty plates whilst we were still eating. The plate still had the sauce on we were dipping into for our starter and then again our desert! Would highly recommend you try this place, we will be back!
The space and decor is amazing, unfortunately the services was a little hit and miss. Our server was very informative and attentive but we were served the wrong food three times, the staff kept dropping trays, glasses etc. behind us. The waiter who took our dessert order and then served us didn’t speak once, just nodded and raised his eyebrows to questions. If I went back it would be for drinks only.
Perfect diner in my wife birthday!
Amazing location and decor! Food and drink is nice and very reasonably priced. The music however was far too loud for a dinner occasion. Had to shout across the table to try and have a conversation.
