On the second floor of The Ivy Spinningfields, Manchester is Ivy Asia. Open seven days a week for lunch and dinner.

Our menu takes you on a journey through Asia where you can enjoy sushi & sashimi, small dishes such as prawn tempura, and large dishes including the likes of slow-cooked pork belly and avocado crispy tofu. All our meals are the perfect match for our theatrical drinks and cocktails.

The private room features a striking pink onyx bar, sumptuous furnishings, colourful Asian-inspired fabrics and a gold leaf ceiling, all set against breath-taking artwork in floor to ceiling mirrors. As with Ivy Asia restaurant and bar, The Geisha Room offers Asian-inspired cocktails alongside dishes such as Wagyu beef with truffle sauce, salmon fillet teriyaki, and avocado, crispy tofu, lime and ginger dressing.

    Took a good friend to celebrate her special birthday (60th) and the staff couldn't do enough to make it a special evening. We opted for the Pre-Theatre menu and wow talk about fantastic value for money. Each dish was crafted to culinary perfection. Highly recommend it.

    I went here for my mum's birthday, and it didn't disappoint! The food was all delicious and the service was exceptional! Both were efficient and the staff never failed to ask in on how we were doing and if the food was to our liking. Would recommend! :)

    The Ivy Asia is a wonderful restaurant. The decor and ambience are definitely worth noting, but for us, it is the food that makes this place exceptional. Every dish we tried was well presented, flavourful and original. It is not cheap but worth it. The service is always first class. We were sat near the kitchen, which did make it slightly difficult to hear our servers but that is the only negative.

    I visited the Ivy Asia Manchester last night to celebrate a special occasion—both my mum's and my birthday—but unfortunately, the experience fell far short of expectations. From the start, the service was slow and unorganised. It took an unusually long time for us to place both our drink and food orders, and no one took the time to explain the menu or make recommendations. Our waitress, Michaela, seemed much more attentive to other tables, spending significantly more time with them while we were left waiting. When the food finally arrived, it came 30 minutes apart. While I understand that dishes might arrive at different times, a half-hour wait between meals is unacceptable, especially when dining together for a special occasion. To top it all off, the bill came to £180, which might have been worth it for a good experience—but sadly, it wasn’t. The service and timing issues overshadowed any enjoyment of the food, and I left feeling disappointed. I had hoped for a memorable birthday dinner, but this wasn’t the experience I was expecting.
