    The food was OK, not extraordinary. The waiter had to be reminder twice before she brought the drinks. The desserts / ice cream was hard as stone.

    The Ivy in Bath is an absolutely stunning restaurant- the atmosphere was lively without feeling overwhelming, which was perfect for our birthday celebrations. The food was also delicious and beautifully presented. Unfortunately (I think due to the time of our reservation) dinner service was slow and slightly awkward, putting a bit of a damper on our celebration. We felt equally rushed to leave as well as neglected throughout our service, and it was difficult to get the attention of staff when one of our mains didn't arrive with the rest of the meals. Without these hiccups in service, it would definitely have been a 5 star experience.

    The ambience was great. The food was great. The serving was not. The breakfast set menu was a bit sparse for me. The price advertised is less than what was on the menu. I didn’t mind paying a bit more had i known. Eggs would have been better in their full english as well.
