The Ivy Bath Brasserie
As with its sister sites, The Ivy Bath Brasserie serves all-encompassing, contemporary British menus for breakfast, weekend brunch, lunch, afternoon tea, and dinner. The restaurant is open seven days a week offering all-day dining to local businesses, residents and visitors alike. There is a roof terrace which is the perfect spot for al fresco dining from the a la carte menu. Please note that the terrace is non bookable so please just pop in.
Hidden away on the first floor is The Baldwin Room; our private dining room. Seating 30 guests on one long table, or 40 on round tables of ten, the room is available for breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as for drinks and canapés receptions for up to 70 guests. The room can be hired on its own or the whole first floor can be taken exclusively.
First ever experience at The Ivy Bath Brasserie and I cannot sing it's praises highly enough. It was immaculate throughout, service was excellent (the matrie d' was truly attentive and passionate considering the large number of diners present) the food was astonishing. I'm going to find it very difficult finding anywhere to compare!
Perfect. We had great service from every member of staff, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was buzzing. We had a wonderful evening. Thank you.
Very nice visit to the Ivy Bath. Pleasant welcome, service attentive but not overpowering.
Food excellent, lovely ambience
Excellent service and the food was exquisite. The staff were very helpful and assisted with our choices as the menu is very comprehensive. The setting was great and you felt very privileged to be in such a lovely building with great decor. It was nice not to be crowded in as there was space around the table. Thank you
I took my girlfriend to Bath Ivy for her birthday and the food and drink was fine but was ruined by the lack of attention from the staff, we were sat for at least 10 minutes before our drinks order were taken and even longer for our food. We then ordered dessert twice as someone didn’t take it correctly and then after asking for the bill, it took so long I just walked up and waited to use the card machine as I was fed up by this point.
Always a pleasure to eat here. The staff, service and food are exemplary.
Just fabulous...a real treat.
Afternoon tea is a real pleasure. Food superb. Decor lovely.
A very pleasurable afternoon.
I have been many times and always loved the experience, This time I had house guests from the North of England and wanted to show you off, they were thrilled with the experience. I must say that your staff were as always, very attentive. The meal was delicious. I will be back again soon.
I wish the local council would clean the streets, especially the pavements, which are disgusting. I know it's not your problem, but perhaps you could mention sometime that it doesn't help the tourist trade and leaves a bad impression.
Absolutely exceptional breakfast. Service was fantastic, setting was beautiful and the food was amazing. We thought the price was really reasonable as well. Definitely would be coming back!
We met at The Ivy to celebrate two birthdays.
We were able to sit outside which was just lovely. Friendly, helpful, attentive staff & good food. A winner every time.
Absolutely superb food and service. Very relaxed and welcoming on arrival. Can't wait to visit again!
Superb restaurant serving top quality meals with top quality service.
The definition of brasserie is cheap and simple foods. And to me, this means churning out simple dishes quickly and frequently. This does not do the restaurant justice.
This is a top class restaurant from the ambiance to the waiter brushing off the crumbs in your table between courses!
We went to the Ivy during my hen weekend. It was just lovely from start to finish. The food was presented well, the cakes were divine, especially the cakes that looked like little potted plants complete with pansies on the top. The atmosphere was chilled and sophisticated, the staff were very smart and attentive. Will be back
Had a lovely time sat out on the sun terrace, great food and excellent service.
Fantastic evening - food was all delicious, service was faultless and it was busy enough to create a good atmosphere but not to feel like staff were run off their feet.
Lovely decor. Amazing fish and chips. Delicious puddings. Staff charming in particular our waitress.
Very enjoyable afternoon thank you. If I was to comment about anything I would say that you ought to replace the cucumber sandwich with something much better. We’ve all had them, they are seriously underwhelming and although quintessential for afternoon tea in the 1950’s, times change. We would love to come back again.
Delious food and lovely service - would recommend for a nice meal out or special occasion
Absolutely loved our lunch at The Ivy - a real treat on a weekend away in Bath. The food was delicious and the whole experience was memorable.
Our family of six enjoyed a wonderful lunch on Saturday. I can’t fault anything and our waiter was so accommodating, as one of us needed gluten and dairy free options. Nothing was too much trouble and the food was delicious. Most importantly, the ambience is amazing too!
A very enjoyable experience to celebrate my niece's 21st Birthday. The waiting staff were extremely attentive, it was great to not have to tell them who had ordered which meal! Felt very well looked after. The surprise birthday dessert was a nice touch and very much appreciated by my niece. All in all a super lunch, the marinated yellowfin tuna was to die for!
A lovely lunch with a friend. Portions were more generous than expected, wine was great and sour dough in particular was delicious.
Most pleasant dining experience, exemplary service, excellent food, superb surroundings. Will most definitely visit again.
We've been to the Ivy before but this one didnt live up to the previous standard.
Food was ok, my calamari starter was very salty but in fairness my main (the salmon) was nice.
My husband enjoyed his meal.
Service was ok, slow, we often had to ask for our wine to be topped up.
For the cost, unfortunately it wasn't a great experience but I would recommend the Ivy chain.
Very consistent experience with very friendly and attentive staff. While portions are modest the quality is great and the ambience very special. Always good for a special family meal out. Vegan options a bit limited so daughter less impressed.
We went for a meal after our sons graduation. It was fantastic. Excellent food and service couldn’t have made a better choice .
Perfect graduation meal, great atmosphere and more importantly great food.
Always very good food and service. The standard is very consistent and it's a lovely venue.
We went there for my daughters 21st Birthday lunch. Perfect place and everything about the place was amazing.
Lovely breakfast at the Ivy, delicious food, amazing service & great atmosphere. Treated a friend for her bday & she felt like it was special.
Hannah made our evening exceptional ! Lovely ambiance, exceptional food!
Warm welcome, although it was a graduation day we hadn’t said but the first half of our party were asked on arrival and when the graduate then arrived he was congratulated, he was then given a small congratulations cake at the end of the meal all very nice personal touches. The food and service were fantastic and made a great end to a lovely day
Great location and superb ambiance. Food very well prepared and served in good time by staff eager to please. Probably for special occasions only unless you're taking a rich aunt. For those prices I would have expected some bread on the table though.
We chose the Ivy to celebrate our daughter’s graduation, and it proved to be the perfect choice. Staff were kind and helpful, and the food was excellent, both in terms of quality and value. Between us, we weren’t very hungry, but the fish and chips, haddock fish cake and open sandwich were all very well done, and the portions generous. I should also say that we sampled from the gin menu, which was just wow! Now I’m left wishing wishing I’d been a bit more exciting, and drooling over the starters and puddings which would have just been to much for us on the day. All this means that we will definitely be back, and I can heartily recommend the Ivy to others. Thank you for topping off a magically day!
The ivy Bath is an excellent Restaurant always good service and food is excellent
Amazing food in an amazing setting. The service is second to none and if you go before 6.30pm the price is very reasonable.
Staff very professional and Food excellent, great atmosphere and very good value
An absolute treat. Swordfish steak cooked to perfection, splendid decor, comfy chairs, good acoustics - I could actually hear what my friends were saying. Very professional service, I'm definitely returning. I hope we get an Ivy Brasserie in Exeter one day.
Good value for money, lovely food and great service, small details like water being topped up etc, really fab staff too and drinks tasted great
We thoroughly enjoyed our first time at The Ivy Bath Brasserie. We’ll definitely be back!
