The Ivy Bath Brasserie Ratings and Reviews
My husband, a friend and I were meeting up for a post-Christmas supper - the staff were very welcoming, the decor is characterful and beautifully finished. We sat quite near the door but weren't cold thanks to the efficient heating. It is quite noisy thanks to being a large room but thank goodness no intrusive music. (I love music but I go out with friends to talk to them!) The food was excellent - the two men had the recommended speciality, game pie, and I had slow cooked shoulder of lamb. All were delicious and beautifully presented. We had wine by the glass, again excellent. Our waiter was attentive but not overbearing in the slightest and all in all it was a really nice evening.
Had the most fantastic meal at The Ivy on Friday night. The staff were so polite, professional and attentive. The food was outstanding and the drinks what you’d expect. The Ivy is pricey, our bill came to £130 for 3 courses and a few drinks but very much worth it for a special treat. Would highly recommend.
Our Lunch was a Christmas present from my sister.
I have eaten at the Ivy Brassiere at Covent Garden with my daughter and thoroughly enjoyed It. My daughter who is in PR for Restaurants and Bars recommended it before we went to the Royal Festival Hall. What a memorable day.
Enjoyed my birthday lunch with my family on 3rd January. The food was good quality with plenty of choices for all tastes. We really liked the ambiance and the decoration. Our waitress was friendly and very helpful. Definitely recommend it and we look forward to returning next time.
We went here on New Years day for an evening meal. Not many places are usually open on this day! The staff were absolutely lovely, very attentive and friendly. We arrived early so enjoyed a few cocktails at the bar before having a great meal. Having dined at the The Ivy in London before and now in Bath we'd certainly have no hesitation in recommending at all. It's just great to see that there are now a few other locations over England to consider.
25th wedding anniversary meal for us, the atmosphere was welcoming and friendly, the staff cheerful and helpful, the starter and main course were excellent, but did feel deserts were disappointing, presentation was good, but seemed lacking in flavour. We will be trying the Ivy again. Thankyou
We've been(or tried to go) to the Ivy almost every week since it opened which says it all. It is the first restaurant in Bath that has got all the ingredients in one place - finally London quality and service has arrived! It truly is an exceptional experience with excellent food, sumptous decor and wonderful service. Even when little things had the potential to go wrong (cocktails brought almost at the same time as the starter) this was sorted out in a flash, apologies and fresh starters made without hesitation. You could not ask for a more professional outfit. Well done!
Excellent service, seated quickly, coats collected, by very polite and friendly staff.
Food was excellent, beautifully cooked with excellent presentation and a lovely range of flavours.
It is always difficult to make every table in the restaurant cosy and intimate especially when seated opposite the till and waiter walk-through but we really enjoyed our meal and appreciated not being rushed.
