Amazing food and service to match. Atmosphere was slightly dull, but it was a Sunday evening. But highly recommend.
Went there with the family, staff at the entrance were lovely , our waiter have exceptional service there when you needed him but not pestering. He was very polite smiley and engaging. The arancini was lovely , the steak sandwich was fine but thin on the ground with meat however chops were great. The cocktails were a hit . Will return again for afternoon tea as if looked great
An enjoyable evening, food quality and presentation was very good, quieter than i thought considering on line I couldn't book a table before 9pm
We had a wonderful meal celebrating my husband's 40th birthday. It was a beautiful setting, exquisite food and great atmosphere. The service was attentive but our waiter forgot to take our wine order so our main course arrived before we had ordered wine. It was very quickly rectified and didn't spoil anything in the slightest but the restaurant wasn't packed so I guess just a slip up. Overall a wonderful meal. Thank you!
Absolutely wonderful food, steak was just perfection! Ambience and setting was fabulous. Exceptional service too. Looking forward to returning.
Lovely place and staff. The food was amazing. Would highly recommend.
The prawn and calamari starter was a let down. I would look at this from a customers perspective, as it was underwhelming, I have had better in a local pub.
That said the rest of the food was great, the duck curry was fantastic, great quality duck breast, lovely sauce! The amount of rice was tiny not much more than a ramikin.
Had a fab time, the staff were great!
Staff are always really good. Venue is good. Probably need to change the menu more often to entice people back
The Ivy Bath provides a special venue with high quality food and drink which ideally suits the elegant city of Bath. The interior is both smart and relaxed, the service is attentive but not over pretentious. We enjoyed excellent red wine, starters,(particularly the smoked salmon and crab mayonaise) and steaks for mains . A memorable meal.
We dine at The Ivy frequently which our choice to return there says it all. The Staff are always very professional and attentive and the food is extremely delicious.
The food and service are consistently of a high quality. Friendly, yet professional and efficient.
The ambiance is quite plush and refined, with a number of "ladies who lunch" in evidence. The food was enjoyable and nicely presented, but the prices are distinctly on the high side. A meal for two with wine can easily cost £130 plus.
Staff excellent in all areas, meeting us at the entrance, escorting to the table and our waitress who provided superb service throughout the meal. Food was good value, cooked well served whilst hot which contributed to a very enjoyable lunch and experience. We have dined at various other Ivy’s - the Bath restaurant certainly maintains the high standards delivered when visiting an Ivy restaurant.
Another great experience at The Ivy in Bath. A perfect lunch - great food, drinks and service
Delicious brunch, excellent service and lovely atmosphere
Enjoyed amazing birthday treat everything was perfect
Excellent as usual with the Kippers for Breakfast being great.
Nice ambiance and decor. Delicious food but the bacon was overcooked and toast wasn’t toasted more like bread. Poached eggs tad undercooked but was nicely presented.
24/01/2020,This was a celebration of my wife's birthday. Nothing of this was said to the staff. I was present with my wife and her sister. We had a wonderful corner table. Although the restaurant was full, we were able to have a private conversation amongst ourselves without being heard or disturbed by other guests. The staff were very attentive, the ambience was great and the food was fabulous. I will attend again and would strongly recommend The Ivy to my friends and anyone who loves fine dining.
Margarita cocktails not up to much, but we enjoyed the food. Service very good.
As always this is a great place to eat and drink. I shall be coming back again soon. Thank you
Arrived at time of booking - were taken straight to our table. Mid-week so it was quiet which was nice and romantic. Our waiter was lovely and very attentive but not intrusive. Food was 10/10 as always, as were the cocktails!
The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The food is very good when it arrives. We normally go for pre theatre lunch. 12.30-2pm
We had to ask someone to take our order at 12.50. The courses were slow in coming. We ordered coffee at 1.50 which arrived 2.10. We had to leave 2.15. Normally I love a long lazy lunch but when you are short on time the meal has to be prompt. We go nearly every month and will continue to do so. Saying all that the food is delicious
Delicious food in lovely surroundings. The staff were there when they needed to be but were not intrusive. The food was presented beautifully and portion sizes were spot on. Especially enjoyed the complimentary coffee at the end if our meal. Will definitely be back and would not hesitate to recommend.
We have dined at The Ivy a few times in the past year and have found it to be excellent on each of these occasions. It is a superb restaurant for a special occasion and equally rewarding for a casual working lunch.
We would whole-heartedly recommend it as an excellent place for those looking for a place to meet for that 'special' occasion
We went for breakfast, food was lovely and good service
Excellent friendly service.
Our table of 4 all had the cheaper set menu of 2 courses. Good choice of fish, meat or veggy options. Lovely tasty dishes
Great food and quality service.
Each meal was individual and great quality.
Had a lovely lunch on Sunday, atmosphere and service really good.
Food is a little on the pricey side but would recommend it.
Lovely setting and staff made for unforgettable beginning to our anniversary!!
The white wine was warm, we weren’t offered bread, 30 min wait between corses. Nice food and ambience
Not living up to the brand name, average service higher than average prices.
Fantastic, reasonably priced food, in a truly spectacular environment with wonderful staff.
We celebrated my sisters 60th birthday and we were made to feel really special. The food was lovely and not overly priced and the waiter could nt do enough for us. Thank for a wonderful evening.
All ver good
Lovely ambiance, food great and service excellent. Staff were really helpful and professional.
We were four for dinner and had a lovely time. Great starters but mixed feelings with mains. My black cod was very dry and I didn’t finish it. Didn’t complain to avoid spoiling my daughters birthday celebration. Perhaps I would have done so if somebody had asked? Fast, polite service overall.
A favourite in Bath. Food and service consistently good. My first choice to go out to dinner
We were late for our booking but the staff were extremely courteous and welcomed us. The ambiance was lovely. We all ordered the Mackerel Pate which was nice but served straight from the fridge so difficult to spread and also to get the full flavour, room temperature would have been better. Main course was lovely, 2x minute steaks and 2x Sea Bream. Dessert of chocolate mousse was delicious and the Creme Brûlée was also good but the 2x Camembert were both again served straight from the fridge. Not really appropriate for cheese nor really the standard I expected for The Ivy. I did speak to the waiter who thanked me for the feedback and said he would take it to the kitchen. Can’t ask for more! I would visit this restaurant again.
absolutely wonderful waitress from Romania , so professional , outstanding experience. she was perfect, helpful, friendly, and a wonderful ambassador for the ivy :)
