   We had the afternoon tea option which we enjoyed. There was too much for us to finish but we were able to take leftover cakes home in a box which was provided. We had to wait quite a while for our tea refill and felt overlooked once our food had arrived. The service initially was very good however. We didn’t feel rushed so could chat comfortably. It’s certainly a good meeting place.

   Food very nice and the building is lovely, we have been four times now and the menu still hasn’t changed, needs a rethink, don’t think we will be back until some new dishes are added.

   Beautiful setting and great customer service. Longer wait for food than normal but it was lovely when it did arrive. The latte I ordered wasn’t very nice but they swapped it for me (flat white much better!) without question. Lovely birthday pudding for free too! So kind. Beautiful place.

   Excellent food, although the seabass special was lovely but not nearly enough sauce for the whole fish, need to order a side of vegetables. The service was brilliant, friendly and attentive staff. Lovely environment. Very enjoyable evening.

    A wonderful experience. My partner and I were greeted with a lovely welcome and were promptly taken to our table. After a minute we were offered a table upgrade as it was a special occasion, to which we were both delighted and happily accepted. Staff were extremely polite and professional, pointing out the specials menu and paying particular attention to any allergies or dietary requirements. Food and drink arrived promptly and cooked to perfection. Brilliant value for money and neither of us could fault the food at all. Communication between all of the staff was brilliant, and from the quality of our food, it was obvious this applied to the kitchen as well - we cannot praise the staff enough. Overall, we are extremely impressed with our time here at the Ivy Bath Brasserie, from the quality of the food, to the professional and friendly service. Even the decor was perfection, all culminating to create a beautiful experience that we are very grateful for. Thank you to everyone who provided this exceptional service.

    Wonderful experience. The food was delicious. The service was fantastic & we were even given a free dessert as we were celebrating a special occasion (although unfortunately couldn't eat it as we are vegan! But were very moved by the gesture) Highly recommend.

    We were a party of two and we went for brunch - we were only the 2nd party of guests to arrive on a midweek morning. Interesting then that even with many staff lingering about it still takes 10 minutes for two pots of tea to arrive. The food followed a couple of minutes later and was good, the interiors are beautiful and I guess that’s what they are banking on!

    Easy, stylish, delicious and sublimely accommodating from the get go. Food was exquisitely presented and all perfect - our 13-Yr old son tried ( a candle-topped choux bun, beautifully presented to the birthday girl was charming. So good to be back in a proper restaurant with great presentation and superb staff. Have known the London Ivy for years, now with this incarnation of it in Bath, virtually on our doorstop, what’s not to like.

    Took my friend for a meal as part of her birthday treat before the theatre. We had to ask for the fixed price menu but the choices we made from that were excellent. We had the pea and nettle soup; the salmon and the almond pannacotta. It was delivered promptly and each course was delicious and fantastic VFM. The restaurant was a little crowded for my liking.

    Such a welcoming atmosphere, a feel as though you are dining somewhere exclusive with a price point for everyone’s budgets. Lovely staff with great manners, nothing was to much trouble.

    We were a little bit disappointed as we were so looking forward to our first visit to the Ivy Bath. Drinks expensive for what they were and messed up the order. Starters were nice and my partners vegan main was also nice but they totally messed up my order serving me chicken Milanese instead of minute steak. It was sorted immediately but I’m afraid the chips really weren’t very nice I’ve had better oven chips. They then charged me for 3 mains glad I checked bill. Overall disappointed and won’t be trying one of their other establishments. Always happy to pay top price but unfortunately I think it is relying on it names reputation instead of serving top class food. Sorry but I cannot recommend.

    The decor and building was the only positive thing about the place. The food was tolerable but we left most of it. We had the brunch menu, had a bread starter which was so tough we left it. I had eggs which were really underdone meaning the egg whites were still runny and horrible. All in all a very disappointing £70 for two barely edible breakfasts. I just wanted to have the experience, the building was nice but still not worth the money

    I felt the food was ok, although the smoothie was warm and didn't see how that was relevant for an afternoon tea. We weren't asked if we wanted any more drinks and took along time gor the first drinks to arrive. The service charge was expensive. Maybe you were understaffed ?

    Great atmosphere in a beautiful environment. A little piece of luxury but at what I would consider a good price. We had afternoon tea, and the only reason I gave it 4 stars as I would have preferred a few more savory things with a smaller amount of cakes. But overall excellent service and good value

    The service at The Ivy on this visit really let it down. I have visited The Ivy many times however I will not come again for afternoon tea as what should have been a lovely experience was spoilt by the lack of attendance, the abrupt responses from the waiter and just generally no customer service! I have recommended The Ivy many times but after this visit I won't be doing it again!

    Great place for afternoon tea. Full restaurant so lively atmosphere. Service was slow, but to be expected with the amount of people on the day we visited. Food was tasty with lots of variety, presentation was everything you could wish for in a classy restaurant. Definitely visiting again for our next special occasion.

    Dined at the Ivy in London and Bath a . number of times,but, haven’t been for a long time. Me nuI’d largely unchanged . Good food, good service and attentive staff. Simple food good ingredients nicely presented. Not cheap, but good experience. The the steak tartare is my favourite and really well prepared ready to be spiced to my taste .Noisy,but adds to the ambiance. Not a place for a quiet meal. Will continue to eat there 3/4times a year. Probably in the top five restaurants in Bath John
