The Ivy Bath Brasserie
As with its sister sites, The Ivy Bath Brasserie serves all-encompassing, contemporary British menus for breakfast, weekend brunch, lunch, afternoon tea, and dinner. The restaurant is open seven days a week offering all-day dining to local businesses, residents and visitors alike. There is a roof terrace which is the perfect spot for al fresco dining from the a la carte menu. Please note that the terrace is non bookable so please just pop in.
Hidden away on the first floor is The Baldwin Room; our private dining room. Seating 30 guests on one long table, or 40 on round tables of ten, the room is available for breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as for drinks and canapés receptions for up to 70 guests. The room can be hired on its own or the whole first floor can be taken exclusively.
Lovely birthday treat from my husband, excellent service, delicious food, lovely birthday cake from the staff. Thankyou
A spontaneous lunch at the Ivy was so delightful we booked lunch for the following day. The starter basket of zucchini fritti was larger than expected, but so tasty we finished every one - I suggest sharing.
The restaurant is very cool with a great atmosphere. The food is nice. The service is great
Very pleasant dining experience - excellent food in lovely surroundings. Staff very helpful and attentive but not over obtrusive. Would definitely recommend The Ivy.
Great Really. Great
Good service and food and wine up to the usual standard.
Excellent restaurant for that special occasion or even just a welcome break from the busy city centre.
With the choice of their special daily menu or even some selections from the a la carte menus the prices are very reasonable indeed.
The service and attention to detail was really good indeed.
Certainly go there again.
Had a lovely anniversary meal here, staff were polite and efficient, food was exquisite.
Fabulous! Beautiful venue, fun atmosphere, delicious food and imoeccable service. A joy!
Fantastic waiter. Ambience was beautiful and the food was gorgeous well reccomended as a treat have a meal at the ivy
We took friends to the ivy who had come from New Zealand and who had not been to Bath for 27 years.
They said it was the best experience of their holiday.
I always enjoy going to the ivy bath the food is excellent and service is impeccable I would say it is one of the best restaurants in Bath
Super atmosphere for an early lunch. Service attentive without being intrusive.
Had a fantastic night with one of my girl friends, staff were lovely.
Will be returning soon
Lovely food, great service, would definitely recommend for that special occasion.
Food was poor. My fish was over cooked and the chips were stale. Service was excellent however. It was also very noisy in the dining area. I would say The Ivy Bath was better suited for large boisterous parties, not intimate or fine dining.
Decor beautiful, staff excellent, but a la carte not as tasty as set menu, for some reason. 'Music' (ie electronic sounds) is abysmal.
Outstanding food, beautiful view to dine. Drinks were very over priced and were charged for drinks we also didn’t have
This is my all time favourite restaurant in Bath. We have been a few times to celebrate different occasions and it never fails to impress me with high food, attentive service and beautiful setting. I highly recommend- but beware, you will need to book in advance!
It's always a pleasure to visit, no matter what time of day
I booked to have breakfast with my Mum as it was her 70th birthday. The food and service were outstanding. I will definitely be going back.
An exciting place to eat, with excellent cooking, fun décor and a nice vibe.
The room was lovely and the staff great. The food felt more like it was bought in rather than prepared fresh on site. Posh Cote Brasserie but way more expensive.
We really enjoyed our visit to The Ivy. A superb atmosphere, in fact everything was faultless and we felt thoroughly spoilt. We are both looking forward to our next visit.
Fantastic food and service, would definitely recommend and go back!
Have been before and food was lovely and the whole experience was fab but this time I had steak and some of the paper was still stuck to bottom of steak !!!!!! My daughter also had steak and her bowl was full of quite a lot of water !!!! We only went for a light lunch so went for the set menu which tbh this time was quite poor - we were offered free coffee or dessert but we declined as wanted to finish our shopping and the manager decided to take off the 12.5 added gratuity which under the British law if I’m not happy with the service then that’s what I decline to pay not him to decide to remove so felt his attitude was actually quite arrogant -will not be returning and next time would visit cafe rouge opposite
I took my mum to The Ivy for lunch as I have had dinner with you before, the service was excellent, the food outstanding and the restaurant has a lovely atmosphere. Mum has travelled down to Bath from Truro that morning, she is 79 and needed a cal, relaxing lunch and it was perfect. We were not rushed and we were offered complimentary drinks at the end of our meal. Best restaurant in Bath and I have already made another reservation.
Great food - lunchtime short menu very good value. Great, genuine service.
Amazing afternoon tea and great service! Lovely ambience and great place for a special occasion. Will be returning on our next trip to Bath.
It's a 'go to' favourite for us in Bath. Consistently good food, wines and service in a beautiful building.
The Ivy is a firm favourite for any occasion.
When you dine there the ambience is second to none!!!
The food and the choices make your mouth water!!
Our table was a mixture of ages 18yrs to 73yrs and we all enjoyed the experience.
10 out of 10 Thankyou to our lovely Ittalien
Had an excellent meal, food and service were exceptional. Will definately book again. The tempura prawns starter was delicious.
Great food. Lovely place for brunch with a friend!
As always I thoroughly enjoyed my lunch, the restaurant itself is beautiful, the staff very polite and the menu and food perfect.
I live inSalisbury and I am afraid we have nothing to compare with The Ivy. It is always worth the journey.Thank you for being consistent, I have now visited at least six times.
Had a lovely girlie lunch and were very well looked after
Staff appropriately attentive with just enough contact. Had smoked salmon with rye bread for starters, followed by fillet steak which melted in the mouth. Good portion size and well presented but would expect nothing less of The Ivy.
Three ladies and a baby had a girls lunch here. We ate off the lunch specials menu, which was limited but adequate and good value. I’d like to see a few more dairy free dessert options, not everyone like the standard sorbets.
Overall it was a good experience, but felt much more like a “ chain” restaurant then The Ivy!
I do love visiting the Ivy in Richmond and Bath, however I was very disappointed that the tea was served with a teabag and not fresh tea leaves. Excellent service. The veggie cooked breakfast was delicious but it would have been 5*star perfect with a pot of fresh tea too. Thank you
Really enjoyed our meal food was delicious staff were helpful & friendly, service was a little slow great atmosphere even though it was quiet when we were there. Would recommend one of the best meal we have had when eating out in Bath
A very nice Spanish waiter, whose name I can’t remember, who was perfectly charming, who couldn’t have been mire helpful. A good lunch!
