   I felt the food was ok, although the smoothie was warm and didn't see how that was relevant for an afternoon tea. We weren't asked if we wanted any more drinks and took along time gor the first drinks to arrive. The service charge was expensive. Maybe you were understaffed ?

   Great atmosphere in a beautiful environment. A little piece of luxury but at what I would consider a good price. We had afternoon tea, and the only reason I gave it 4 stars as I would have preferred a few more savory things with a smaller amount of cakes. But overall excellent service and good value

   The service at The Ivy on this visit really let it down. I have visited The Ivy many times however I will not come again for afternoon tea as what should have been a lovely experience was spoilt by the lack of attendance, the abrupt responses from the waiter and just generally no customer service! I have recommended The Ivy many times but after this visit I won't be doing it again!

    We ate from the lunch menu. It was ok but my wife’s steak was rather chewy and the chips were hard as though they had been hanging about and warmed up. Service was excellent.

    Champagne Afternoon tea was lovely. Beautifully presented and very tasty ! Service was very good and we were not at all rushed ,all quite relaxed . Would recommend as a special treat!

    My wife and I had an "afternoon tea for two" this week using a voucher that had been given to us as a present. On the day, we were given a warm welcome at the door by two friendly smartly dressed young ladies and we were ushered to a nicely set out little table. Our voucher unfortunately did not inform us which afternoon tea we were actually having. As there were 3 teas we could have, our helpful waitress had to look up on her computer to find out. (We did try online beforehand but the system did not work). The beautifully presented tea for two (as outlined) was brought to our table in a timely fashion, along with cups of coffee. It was a real delight to look at and to eat and it was more than we were expecting in both quality and quantity. A real joy!! The service was slick but not rushed and the interior design of The Ivy Bath along with decor really added to the experience. It was a memorable experience and it is one I am keen to repeat later in the year. Please pass our thanks on to the staff and management who are delivering great service. Thank you.

    Fabulous restaurant. Thoroughly recommend! Easy to book and to modify booking online. Very accommodating when we arrived a bit early. Delicious food, good value, so central. Amazing service. Beautiful outdoor area. Had a great lunch with friends here…Thank you.

    Outstanding! I've always wanted to go to The Ivy but never made it. Went for a birthday brunch with my daughter and we absolutely loved it 10/10...everything was perfect.

    An absolutely wonderful experience. The staff were perfect - friendly but not too so! Fabulous decor - good choice of food and fair prices especially for the centre of Bath. This was my second visit and am planning the next one already.

    Food was good - however the chips were very dry, so not good to eat. The service was good, waiting staff were very friendly and helpful. However the food came out quite quickly, could have held on for a minute or to. So aware of quick turnaround of tables.

    Unfortunately we had an awful meal. The grilled chicken was as tough and dry as a boot sole and the chips at 3.95 were dry and overcooked. I could not eat it. My husband's beef starter was fine, but again the chicken was awful. The salad was slimy too. The manager reduced our bill and my dessert was free. It was a birthday treat and very disappointing. Staff were very pleasant and apologetic.

    Very attentive staff. Elegantly decorated with a continental feel. The set lunch menu we had was excellent and good value. Drinks were on the expensive side but that's to be expected. I like the fact that a discretionary service charge is already added when the bill is presented - saves a lot of mental arithmetic and potential embarrassment.

    I ordered the vegetarian breakfast and requested 'no egg'. in the past I have been offered an alternative, such as extra halloumi. This was not forthcoming, but at that time was not an issue as the dish used to come with two halloumi slices. On this occasion there was only one and the rosti was considerably reduced in size. The entire dish was meagre and did not represent good value. I was charged for mineral water when, as with all quality establishments, I thought it was complementary. Perhaps this might be made clear when the order is placed. I appreciated the complementary second cup of latte. Sadly, I doubt if I will return.
