As always we had a fabulous evening in every way, faultless:)
Good food and great atmosphere but slow. We arrived at 9pm and didn’t get our main meals until almost 10.30pm.
Had a lovely meal and thank you to the management for acknowledging my husbands 50th birthday.
Had a fabulous and decadent afternoon tea. Made to feel very special. Attentive yet discreet service. Loved it. Will be back for dinner date!
The interiors of the restaurant are beautiful.
We went for breakfast on the Saturday morning, the pace is very leisurely which is perfect for a relaxed breakfast. There was 5 of us in the party and the table felt a little cramped once all our plates and drinks arrived. Kids loved their pancakes. I had the eggs benedict, the poached eggs were cooked to perfection but were cold. Not sure if the plate had been sat around for a while. I would go back but for the price my expectations were not quite met.
The original Ivy in London always had a great reputation - their new brassiere restaurants do not disappoint!
We were running late (which I hate to do when going to a restaurant) but the staff were understanding and attentive. This attitude from the staff remained for our entire visit. So professional and kind.
Our visit was for breakfast and everything was just wonderful - from the restaurant decor, to the drinks and the freshly prepared food. Every care was taken with the preparation of the food and it tasted amazing.
I would not hesitate to recommend this ‘institution’ to anyone. It’s not cheap, but it is worth it!
We had a lovely afternoon tea at The Ivy - great food and great service.
Really very good. Only down side was having first glass of wine bottle poured into a glass with 2 chips in it. Not what I'd expect from an otherwise excellent restaurant serving wonderful food in an eclectic ambiance.
The service and restaurant was great, my lamb was very average and husbands dish was tasty but not worth the money.i have had breakfast here and it was very tasty and would go again but not for dinner
Excellent pre theatre meal but drinks pricey.
They very kindly phoned to say my daughter had left her umbrella behind.
I took my mum for afternoon tea as a birthday treat. The atmosphere and ambience was calm and relaxed, not too noisy but just enough going on to give a good atmosphere. The service was excellent - discreet but attentive at just the right times. Food was delicious and we shall definitely be returning - it’s a great place to go for a special occasion but equally for everyday dining.
Always enjoy the food and the atmosphere. Took friends and they are really fussy and they ate the lot,
And believe me that doesn’t happen very often
Never fails to impress with food or top notch service.
Great food, lively atmosphere and good service. Delicious harissa sauce and no problem having sauces served separately as required. Nice to have the added extra of 'happy birthday' and little celebratory tarts with candles!
We enjoyed our Anniversary lunch & would visit again for a celebration.
another great meal, menu has a good selection and is reasonably priced, the Sunday lunch serving was busy, and service did slow for a short period of time , however regained its normal high standard with polite and efficient staff. highly recommended!
This was my 3rd visit to The Ivy and once again it lived up to expectations. I dine out 2 or 3 times a week and this restaurant is above average on the Bath dining scene, going out of it's way to provide satisfaction with service, food quality and general ambience. My Shepherds pie was very tasty but a larger portion would have been appreciated. My apple pie dessert was delicious, freshly baked and generously sized. I hope to make another visit in the near future.
Lovely location. Lovely food. Tables far too close to each other. I Could hear the couples conversation next to us and felt too aware they could hear us In return. I could not even fit my bag on the seat next to me without touching the stranger next to me.
Really nice restaurant. The food was really good and not forgetting the service. Staff were very attentive. Thanks for a great dinner
Great place to go.
We have been to 3 of these restaurants in London and they all have the same Standards, which is great to excellent.
We very much enjoyed this one in Bath, the waiter was very good he knew is stuff was very chirpy.
The food was great, it was presented well and was hot.
Go and visit one near you, you will not be disappointed
We've been many times now for birthday celebrations to meeting friends, excellent every time!
My partner and i had a lovely meal at The Ivy. Being vegetarian can often limit the choice of what we have in restaurants but The Ivy had a lot of choice offering a full vegan/vegetarian menu. The staff were polite and the food was amazing! We would highly recommend this place to others!
First visit and I will be back. Great setting, the building has been tastefully decorated and it had a lovely atmosphere for a Saturday afternoon. Brunch menu extensive and I think super value. Helpful to have a brunch that runs for the majority of the day. Impressive.
Lovely but no decaff tea.
Beautiful food, ambience was lovely and I’d definitely recommend.
Excellent in all respects. The one area where a change might be considered is the automatic application of a service charge.
Birthday treat. I wasn’t paying gladly so but food service and ambiance superb.
I would score the Ivy better if they hadn’t turned us away the night before despite the restaurant being half full. We saw them do this to others as we left our breakfast, despite half the restaurant being empty. Clearly there’s an issue with staffing.
Coffee also not at barista level...
Excellent! Really good food and atmosphere. Made a small fuss for my wife’s birthday without being embarrassing
Great setting for a birthday celebration. Very enjoyable afternoon.
The afternoon tea is lovely but could do with more sandwiches and a slightly better selection of cakes
Thank you , we booked the ivy for a family celebration after my marriage ceremony at the Guild Hall! Totally the right choice! We felt special and were looked after really well during what looked like a really busy lunchtime service! Food lwas superb and the cocktails very moreish.
Highly recommend for that very special occasion 😀
This was a gift from our children and they could not have chosen better. Everything was top-notch from the first glass of champagne. I am still excited about the monkfish and prawn Kerala curry.
My friends & I had a very enjoyable lunch here on Friday. Beautiful decor and a lovely atmosphere. Food was delicious & beautifully presented. The staff were efficient & helpful. The wine complemented our meal.
My mum and I had a lovely lunch love the decor and atmosphere feels indulgent and a treat great food excellent service
Excellent, friendly service. Outstanding food quality and taste. Perfect ambiance. Would recommend and return again. Loved it!
We both enjoyed the whole experience, excellent in every way.
Had a great lunch, with my partner, amazing food, salted sourdough was amazing!! Drinks service could have been a bit quicker, but overall amazing *
The food is without doubt really good, but the service is slow and i hate the service charge, allow us to leave a tip its an absolute rip off. Stunning setting.
Really fabulous place - outstanding food, exemplary service, beautiful environment
Highly recommended for a fine dining experience
Very great meal overall - good food and prices not too bad in comparison to others. Very good service and waiter was very friendly, even brought a special anniversary cake out after reading my 'special requests' note upon booking. Highly recommended :)
Been loads of times! Staff were so lovely......thoughtful & professional! Shame they get paid so badly....!!!!!
