    The licensing issue whereby you can’t order drinks unless having a main course not very useful for late tables where you only want perhaps a starter and dessert. 2 out of party 4 ordered the apple tart (one of which pregnant), but the level of alcohol on the tart made it completely inedible to any person let alone a pregnant woman - I would suggest leaving it off completely as the only taste was alcohol and nothing else. Stunning interior etc but overall disappointed, not what I expected from the Ivy brand.

    Fantastic night at the ivy Belfast . The service was amazing well done team ivy. Warm, comfortable resturant will beautiful decor. We had the set menu and it was delightful and plentiful albeit we added in a few sides. There were six of us , We had three hours a very relaxed evening with background music/dj without it compromising the ability to chat. Have already booked my return visit.

    Such beautiful decor a really beautiful place to eat, on arrival we were seated promptly. Our waiter introduced himself and took our water and drinks order. He then returned promptly to take our food order. Our starter arrived within 15 mins and was delicious. I was with a friend catching up and knew it had been quite a while. From clearing starters until our main arrived was another hour. When I questioned our waiter he apologised and explained the crust on the cottage pie took a while. At this point I was extremely frustrated, instead of just apologising there was no need to tell a silly story. Such a shame because when it arrived it was beautiful. Service would need to improve vastly!!!!

    Loved my dinner experience in the Ivy! Such a fabulous restaurant and decor and staff are amazing. Food, wine and cocktails also great!

    Great experience… couple of things. Red wine bit cool, white not cool enough Front lobby people excellent… table people excellent . Knowledgeable about the wine, attentive. Not fond of my wine being topped up without being asked, a simple courtesy Overall a superb dining experience, highly impressive. I would rather tip the staff myself, as opposed to it being included

    Our table ordered 5 sirloin steaks, we were all really disappointed not much flavour. Also had to pay for sides sauce / anything other than steak separately. Ordered raspberry cocktail and it was not the best. Restaurant aesthetic is stunning. We had a few servers through the night who were lovely. We found one to be quite stand off ish and made us uncomfortable

    This was our first visit to the Ivy Belfast having eaten in Cheltenham Birmingham London and Dublin before. The staff were welcoming at reception. The restaurant was full and our fellow diners noisy. I know this is not a problem the Ivy can help but we could not hearer server. We were recommended the Carbernet!! as a good wine and yes I know its Cabernet. However there was none available. I have the Ivy app which mentioned the Secret Reward Dish. Neither the serving staff or the Chef knew anything about this. We ordered Arancini Balls to start which were delicious but could have been better with a dipping sauce of some sort. We also ordered the Salt Crusted Sourdough Bread which we love, however there was no taste of any salt. Two of us had the Lobster and Prawn Linguine which was fine but a tad lacking in Lobster. Our companion ordered the 7oz Fillet which was delicious but certainly not 7oz. Overall disappointing for our first visit but hopefully with a bit more training and feedback this will improve.

    Amazing place. Lovely friendly staff. Incredible meal. We don't like where we sit at table 2 cos people being nosy looking over our foods. Too many walk past by outside window. The bill was mixed up, realised 1 mistake but didn't return to comment. Would definitely be back,to sit at back
