   Lovely lunch Great service Loved the sea bass Negative comment If not at a booth , the normal tables are too close! I dislike hearing every word your neighbours say plus trying to squeeze between tables is not easy!

   Lovely food and drinks, staff are friendly and professional. Busy Saturday, and yet the ambiance and noice levels were just right. Would recommend to a friend!

   Food was beautifully presented and really good flavours and textures. The members of staff were really great. Perfect examples of how to be in customer services. Decoration of the establishment was absolutely brilliant. The « ordinary » toilets were spotless and lavishly and perfectly decorated. Only negative was the contrast between the opulence of the « ordinary » toilets and that of the disabled toilet. Why was less attention given to this essential room? Definitely rate the establishment as superb value for money

   Great and attentive service from the staff at the Brasserie - special shout out to the lady from Seattle. Staff paid attention to the notes that I'd added to the reservation about needing space to park a mobility scooter - well done and had advised well about the disability parking spaces just outside M&S on Chichester street which made the move from parking to restaurant seemless (one less headache for the driver (me)). Beautiful decor in the restaurant and toilets (sadly the disabled access toilet wasn't decorated to the same standard as the able bodied toilets upstairs. The cocktails were very tasty - I can recommend the chocolate orange martini, although a bit more attention to the decoration in the glass wouldn't go amiss. 2 of my table ordered steaks which were both unfortunately undercooked (although they were eaten just the same). Advice - order the steak one level up if you're a bit squeamish about undercooked beef. The chips were really good - not too thick and not too thin and whatever they are being fried in is a very good choice. We were there for my Mother's birthday and staff not only wished her a happy birthday, but also gave her a tiny cupcake and candle - a very nice touch and appreciated. The chocolate bombe was tasty. The Vegan Cheesecake was excessively firm. Overall, excellent service and decor, mains menu needs a bit more variation, steaks cooked to the correct level and the cheesecake texture softened.

   Roast dinner was cold - gravy and veg very cold. There was a difficulty getting waiters attention and a long time before the plates were cleared. Noone checked on us during our meal and was then too difficult to get attention of anyone to explain. Disappointing experience for the price charged.

   We had an unpleasant experience on 01/02/25. We have been waiting since Sunday for manager Paul to ring us, as stated by manager on Saturday night. We were given conflicting information by staff, who accused us of calling out our waiters name too much!! This was then disputed by the duty manager who reported an issue with noise level!! We questioned both these accusations strongly. Tables are extremely close and there was absolutely no load inappropriate noise behavior odour part. We spoke at length to the duty manager as the " telling off" completely ruined a much anticipated evening at "The Ivy" For our concerns not to be followed up as promoted has shown a lack of professionalism.     We loved it until we got our bill.waiter asked us did my mum want a free refill on her coffee and they charged us for it £149 for 2 three course meals three drinks 2 coffees 🤷🏼‍♀️
