The Ivy Brasserie, Spinningfields
The Ivy Brasserie is open all day, seven days a week. Serving modern British classics for breakfast, lunch, dinner, weekend brunch and everything in-between.
The Ivy Asia and Bar is located on the second floor, open seven days a week from 5pm and from 12pm at the weekends. There is a central glamorous late night bar and the restaurant is illuminated with a show-stopping green, semi-precious stone floor serving Asian-inspired cocktails and sharing dishes with entertainment and resident DJ’s.
Amazing place. Would highly recommend to anyone who wants some great food & great atmosphere
The food was amazing, and a nice touch of giving my Mum a birthday cupcake, however that’s as good as it got, we were squashed onto a table far too small for 3 people and it was super uncomfortable. The tables are far to close together. The waiters were not attentive at all, we asked for the bill then waited for around 15 minutes and still no one had come to take payment, we had to ask. Not what you expect, we won’t be returning.
You get what you pay for. We paid a premium price and got a premium product. On one of the busiest nights of the year, February 14th, the food and the service were exemplary. A lovely night.
Amazing from start to finish ! Pity I lost an earring!!!! Highly recommend to everyone x a must visit
Food was excellent
From the moment we entered to the moment we left it was an incredible experience, a perfect way to celebrate any occasion.
Lovely lunch as always. Lewis looked after us well.
Had a beautiful birthday meal here for a close friend, with great ambiance and food. Not to forget the great and friendly service, definitely a night to remember.
After booking through open table, when we arrived the Ivy said they had no record of the booking. Luckily they gave us a table. Half way through the meal I received an email from open table telling me that the Ivy restaurant had contacted them to say I hadn’t turned up!
From the moment we entered reception we had to shout just to be heard as the noise level was ridiculous. I can not fault the service from the waitress who was excellent. Again we had to shout our food orders just to be heard.
The food was amazing, all three courses were cooked to perfection. At no point were we made to feel rushed.
The Ivy is just a fantastic experience a real treat in everyway
I have been to The Ivy over a dozen times and it never fails to deliver. All the, without exception, staff are so professional and always deliver great service. Today was rather frantic, especially front of house, with much queuing and waiting for return of coats etc. The lovely staff were being run ragged and overall it felt as if more help was needed up front. Just my observation but appreciate it was a Saturday lunchtime.
Had a good time.
First visit to The Ivy and it was a lovely experience that i would like to repeat.
The staff were very pleasant and helpful . The dining area was bright and very comfortable . Menu choices very good.
Excellent waiter beautiful place fab food couldn’t fault it
Great venue. Simple elegant food served in a relaxed and atmospheric venue.
Very good food, good service. Attractive venue. Perhaps a little expensive.
Good food and service. Very welcoming atmosphere and good selection of both food and drinks.
The tables are too close together. Lovely food but I felt I was on a double date rather than just me and the wife.
Excellent service. Food was great. Lovely ambience and decor.
The food was amazing. We had the brunch menu as we had a early lunch on a Sunday. So much choice and lovely food. Staff are really friendly and beautiful surroundings.
Great service and tasty food as always when we visit the ivy
Music slightly too loud. Food excellent and service quite good a bit slow between starter and main.
Outstanding night out, excellent food and the place was buzzing. What a venue.
Music too loud and tables too cramped. Nice food though!
Lovely food, fantastic service; however one slight niggle in that the music/DJ in the brasserie on the ground floor was far too loud.
The whole experience was fantastic. The food, atmosphere and service were exceptional. Attentive staff who looked after you when you needed them and left you alone when you didn’t. One of our party said it was the best prawn cocktail they had ever had! The desserts were to die for!
The entrance and visual of the ivy is lovely but they need to sort the service level out. Told to go to the bar and dismissed but not advised where it was. Forgot our order twice in the bar. No wine menu in the wine menu! One meal was cold. I don’t want overdone customer service. I’m sure it’s the trendy way to not smile or have common pleasantries but for the price I expected just a little more. Not saying it’s a bad place at all and some of the food was lovely but for a special occasion it didn’t deliver what I thought. Nice touch with the little birthday cake though.
First time I had a meal in the ivy , it was my birthday and everyone of us was highly pleased from walking threw the door to the most amazing food especially the steak definitely highly recommend and be back soon regards Phil
Quality of drinks and how served was excellent very cold glasses for beers.
Tasty, high quality food. Exceptional al standard and service.
Food was great. Husbands steak a bit bloody when asked for medium..was rare inside. Olives didnt come.
Despite being a great place the tables are far too close together and because we were sat in a main walkway in front of a pillar all passing bodies kept catching the back of the chair and trays being carried over your head.
Afternoon tea not worth the money, still peckish after. Music way too loud. Snippy staff on front desk, table not ready, kept waiting in the bar. When asked about a baby change i was told it was in the disabled toilet. No baby change sign on the disabled toilet. I do not expect staff to snip at me, they need more appreciation for their customers. The waiter we had was lovely. Unfortunately my husband paid the bill and did not notice the service charge. This is incredibly cheeky, i would have taken this off and given the waiter the tip directly as i doubt this will go to him. No special treatment for my birthday either. Based on the tiny portions, snippy staff, lack of baby friendly and service charge I sum this up as a disappointing visit.
Great as always - and THE best vegetable curry I have eaten.
Excellent meal at the Ivy. They serve the brunch menu until 4pm which we hadn’t clocked as my wife likes the Iberico Pork which wasn’t on the Brunch menu. The waiter checked with the kitchen and they were happy to cook that which was great. Everything else was excellent although cocktails can be very expensive in contrast with the food.
Breakfast was amazing! Didn’t expect it to be so busy. But the atmosphere was perfect
Great option and good value on the food. Service is great
Delicious food in good atmosphere. Possibly a bit over priced
Had a lovely evening. Only problems were, mixed sex toilets. Seating for tables for 2 were far too close together, I asked to be moved, it was a bit embarrassing & caused a bad start to our visit. We were unable to read the menu as the lighting was so poor. The waiter suggested using the light on our mobile phone. We did not know where the light was on the phone, the waiter tried to find it & couldn't. At this point other people became involved who were trying to enjoy their meal. They also tried & failed. Eventually the waiter left us with his own mobile phone to struggle to read the menu. He was lovely. In some ways this all spoilt the night. I was our 40th wedding anniversary. Shame really because we loved the venue & the excellent food & cocktails.
The service at the IV was exceptional. Everybody was more than helpful and the surprise of the end for our wedding anniversary was fantastic
