We had a wonderful afternoon at The Ivy, Manchester due in no small way to the excellent service provided by the staff especially the manager who made us feel so special and welcome. The food was, as always superb. Two of the party had fish and chips - awesome! The other member had linguine which she described as being delicious. Again two of the party had the sublime chocolate bombe always my favourite and the other person enjoyed her crème brûlée. We also enjoyed a glass of house champagne. To sum up a delightful afternoon. Thank you to all involved.

As always the whole experience was first class,I would not hesitate to recommend the Ivey to anyone.This is how dining should be .

Ordered the braised lamb shepards pie, took the rosemary sticks from the top of pie but there was one rosemary stick in the middle of pie which I swallowed and nearly chocked on, totally ruined might night and had to leave the opera house concert after 5 minutes due to coughing, a loss of £120 tickets.

We went to The Ivy Manchester for my daughter’s 18th birthday party. The restaurant was gorgeous, the food was amazing and the staff were friendly and welcoming also very attentive. I will definitely be returning soon.

Lovely as always. Had a fabulous waitress can not remember her name. Wore black glasses. Only wish you would have more affordable bottles of white wine saved blanc £46 push the bill to well over £100 and for lunch it makes it a bit pricey.

Had afternoon tea for 2 for £35 each, 2 small sandwiches each and then cakes. £27 for 2 drinks. Thought it would of been a nice treat for my friends 50th but was very disappointed

We had a voucher for champagne afternoon tea. I had a gluten free one…sandwiches were nice but there were only 3, then 2 scones (which were the highlight, delicious), a piece of chocolate brownie, pot of yoghurt and small bowl of frozen fruit. The ivy need to up their game on gluten free desserts to make this in anywhere near comparable to the “normal” afternoon tea which my husband had. His cakes were reportedly delicious. As always with afternoon tea the balance of sweet to savoury is off in my opinion. Champagne was lovely. Service was excellent and the ambiance was lovely. Would go again but probably not for afternoon tea.
