The Ivy Brasserie, Spinningfields
The Ivy Brasserie is open all day, seven days a week. Serving modern British classics for breakfast, lunch, dinner, weekend brunch and everything in-between.
The Ivy Asia and Bar is located on the second floor, open seven days a week from 5pm and from 12pm at the weekends. There is a central glamorous late night bar and the restaurant is illuminated with a show-stopping green, semi-precious stone floor serving Asian-inspired cocktails and sharing dishes with entertainment and resident DJ’s.
Beautiful place, fab service, lovely food and place. Definitely visiting again.
Amazing food and incredible atmosphere. The service was impeccable and incredibly accommodating. The only thing that stopped it from being perfect was a 5 minute delay for one of the four mains, meaning the food served first was no longer hot. The staff were very apologetic and acted swiftly to resolve the issue.
Excellent food and fabulous service from our Spanish waiter
Had a lovely afternoon celebrating our Anniversary!! Will be going back and trying out the other rooms! X
Food & small touches to table presentation could be improved. Not what I would have expected from a fine dining establishment. Overall very pleasant. Service was very good. Sound level high. Could not talk properly to friends on opposite side of table very well.
Great table, food and service very good only one hiccup had to ask twice for a glass of proseco after waiting 10 minutes. Love the decor and ambiance. Did not feel rushed.
Lovely hot breakfast. The eggs benedict were 👍
Service great too. Would highly recommend
First visit and certainly not the last. Excellent service from everyone and the food was first class. Ideal for special events like birthday and anniversary celebrations.
We had a wonderful experience at The Ivy but I’m not sure whether it was necessary to have a DJ playing boom boom boom music at such volume, making everyone speak louder & therefore making it very difficult to hear the waitress talking to us. My husband & I were sat across a table from each other & found it difficult to hear each other without repeating ourselves.
Unsure as I wasn't impressed that at the end of our meal, we paid the bill then we were told we were £10 short😳
There were only three of us, we’d eaten a light lunch and only had one drink each so it’s not as if we had been in there all night having a boozy get together. We know we paid £25 each which included the service bill.. but we were told that the service charge would be taken off but we still owed £1.97!!!
The ladies’ toilet that I used was a disgrace...water leaking from somewhere around the sink so the floor was soaked, this was 3:15 Sunday pm do goodness knows what it was like later on. I wasn’t keen to be seated right next to the entrance either... am worried because I have a booking here in October for myself and 8 other friends. Making me wonder should we look elsewhere.
Lovely meal and great service all night from all staff
I felt the music was too loud in the restaurant and took away what would have been a really nice, relaxed vibe. We were sat right next to the DJ, which sometimes made it difficult to have a conversation as I felt we had to talk louder. Our table was right in the corner so we were often overlooked by the waiters. I felt the service could have been better. We seemed to have a longer wait for our food and on more than one occasion, the waiters would pass us and see we were waiting but just walked by. I ordered salmon and haddock fishcakes but got just a salmon fillet. While it was very nice it wasn’t what I ordered. I should have made mention of this to the waiter. The experience could have been better. But the food was enjoyable and the restaurant itself was very beautiful.
Sat by the door and had to keep coats on all night it was draughty. It was a special birthday celebration but didn’t feel very special.
it had a good feel from the bouncers to the table, the food and when we said goodbye.monies worth.
Food was excellent. Service was really good and our waiter Thannos was lovely. Definitely go again!
This was our second visit to the restaurant . Very disappointed on this occasion . Managed to be sat in between two parties of 10 rowdy people. Food was average . Chef only managed to get one steak cooked to the correct requirement . service was poor ( drinks arriving wrong, asked three times for a wine list and finished up getting one ourselves ) . the night before we ate at Manchester House - what a total difference !!!!
We had a lovely meal, all courses were thoroughly enjoyable. The staff were very attentive. My only complaint is the large service charge.
Excellent food and service highly recommended wine is a little pricey
The food was delicious, the staff were friendly, helpful and professional. The only issue we had was the volume of the music which was totally unnecessary
Really enjoyed the experience - busy, staff pleasant and food lovely
Celebrating my friends birthday. Wonderful place. Atmosphere very good. All in all it was perfect
Service was excellent! The waiter (Lewis) was really helpful with recommendations for different courses. Very attentive but not too much. The place had a great vibe. Had a selection of fish and vegan courses in the group. Monkfish curry was particularly tasty. Would definitely return!
The Ivy is a stunning environment and it feels like a real treat. Food was lovely and together with a bottle of fizz and a group of 5 girls it’s a perfect Saturday afternoon.
A lovely meal, the food and drinks were delicious and the service was brilliant.
Really nice and food and the restaurant it’s self is lovely. Definitely a place to go to celebrate something special. We will be going back
Aesthetically beautiful. Brunch was nice but would have liked more breakfast options and without chips. Server was very attentive and chatty. Seating was not great - cramped in a small booth and it was very noisy. We will definitely return and try some of the other locations despite the things that could have been better.
The food is outstanding!!!! The service is good but could be a little quicker, however once your order is taken and the food arrives all is forgiven.
The atmosphere is incredible, it’s definitely a place I would go back to.
Good atmosphere, but music too loud for a restaurant, and poor acoustics - we could not hear each other across the table. Service was warm, but not skilled: on moving tables (due to a cold draft from the doorway) we had to transfer all our own things - involving several to and fros from each table: not what we’d expect from a brand like The Ivy.
Food was very nice. The white onion soup starter was amazing. Staff and service were also excellent.
Great atmosphere in this place. We came here after de stressing after dropping our son off back at uni. The food was awesome, we all had stakes and they were all cooked individually to perfection. The staff are attentive but not overly. My sons wants his nex birthday here....buff said...
Celebrating our Golden Wedding anniversary with my wife, son & his fiancée. The food was excellent with one minor exception. Food-wise, my wife had the white onion soup which she said was the best soup she had ever tasted! I had the monkfish and prawn curry which was superb, my son had the pork and his fiancee had the blackened cod which they both agreed was excellent. The one failing was a side portion of zucchini fritti, which was limp and soggy with very little batter left on, it seemed it had been cooked and then left a little to long before service and had partially steamed itself, but a minor blemish on what was otherwise a fabulous evening with great food. The service was poor, although the waiter was lovely. the manager was rude when it came to sort out the bill. It’s too expensive for this to happen.
We could not take issue with any aspect of the experience, it was our first visit and hopefully not the last, we could not fault the food and our waitress was very attentive and helpfull
Fabulous food - fabulous service - a great experience 😃
Always slow service here. Not the waiters fault just not enough chefs to cope with number of diners. Last time we went we had to leave midway as we would be late for the theatre!! This time we waited over an hour for our starters. If you ve plenty of time fine!!
It was amazing! The food was great and the service was outstanding.
Lovely lunch with my friend, birthday cake to celebrate next Tuesday. Our waiter was excellent, he was Greek with a beautiful smile.
I had an amazing experience at the Ivy for my birthday and would rate this a 10/10. Staff were friendly and attentive and the food was excellent. My waiter asked the occasion of me visiting and I informed him that it was my birthday and to my surprise, he came out with a miniature cake which had a candle in it once I had finished eating. His overall service was great.
Fantastic experience, lovely, friendly waitress who worked hard to make sure we enjoyed ourselves, lovely breakfast, fab surroundings, amazing toilets 😍🤣 many thanks we will be back!
Husband and wife - Our first time to the Ivy and was suitably impressed with everything- friendly helpful staff and the food was outstanding- can’t wait to return on our next visit to Manchester
