The Ivy Brasserie, Spinningfields
The Ivy Brasserie is open all day, seven days a week. Serving modern British classics for breakfast, lunch, dinner, weekend brunch and everything in-between.
The Ivy Asia and Bar is located on the second floor, open seven days a week from 5pm and from 12pm at the weekends. There is a central glamorous late night bar and the restaurant is illuminated with a show-stopping green, semi-precious stone floor serving Asian-inspired cocktails and sharing dishes with entertainment and resident DJ’s.
Good food and good service Thank you for a lovely breakfast
Service and the surroundings in restaurant are excellent. The food however on the 3 course special menu was limited and of poor quality.
Beautiful, opulent surroundings, relaxed but efficient. Courteous staff. Food was lovely, there was lots of choice across a range of dietary requirements. Lovely venue for celebrations!
Great food lovely place and fab service and waiter
It's fine, a nice place to meet friends for lunch, the food is the same as everywhere else in this chain and the service similar too. Not outstanding but reasonably good
Very nice overall although a bit expensive for what we had. Wine prices a very high
Not a place to have a quiet meal but great atmosphere
Lovely busy restaurant and service really good. Really nice night celebrating my birthday
Certainly worth the visit as the decor and ambience is very nice. The food was good, but not outstanding. My wife and both ordered the Creme Brûlée for dessert. My Creme Brûlée was sent back as it was not nice, my wife's was very good and very different. The waiter offered a replacement, but as I had eaten about 1/2 I declined. The cost of the dessert was removed from the bill, but I felt the restaurant could have offered a complimentary drink or something else.
Brilliant food and service at reasonable prices. Drinks on the steep side.
This was our first visit to The Ivy Spinningfields and was chosen as a place to celebrate our Anniversary, it did not disappoint, Service, Menu, Food all 5 Stars
menu choice very varied. WE had a lovely booth for four people.Food was well presented and hot. Only criticism was service was a little slow particularly between courses. However we were not in a rush so it really was not an issue for us. Prawn cocktail was delightful, as was the fishcake.
We were celebrating a birthday and had a cake. What was left over was put in a box to take away.
Nice atomposher , very attentive and good food. Didnt feel rushed.
Still have poor quality wine glasses on the tables, request they be changed much to the irritation of the watier.
Can’t fault it will be back !
Great food and atmosphere will definitively be back.
We attended The Ivy Friday 10th January for my daughters 18th Birthday. We were greeted as we arrived and navigated through to the bar until our table was ready. The staff were polite and friendly. The cocktails delightful. The food was exceptional. All in all a wonderful 1st experience for my daughter. I’m so glad I chose to come to the Ivy. You made it truly special. Thanks
First visit to the Ivy after hearing many good reports. Great decor (no expense spared ) .staff were efficient. Marked food down one star as I asked for lamb rump to be pink but it was cooked more medium to well. However, we would certainly visit again and would not hesitate to recommend it to others.
A visit to the Ivy is a great experience and one which we would like to repeat and recommend. The decor is great and it is clear that a lot of thought and care has gone into it. The food and service are excellent and most enjoyable. We were in the a Brasserie, but will return and eat in the Asian. Thank you
Went with 2 friends and we had a great time. Able to chat without shouting as it wasn’t too loud. Service was excellent and food was amazing. Great venue too! Can’t really fault anything.
Will definitely come again. Beautiful decor and very relaxed atmosphere. The lights dimmed whilst we were there and I could've stayed for hours! Will try the afternoon tea next time.
Fabulous venue! Staff were so warm and welcoming and the ambience of the restaurant was so chewy and relaxed. Excellent food...can’t wait to return!
A great birthday treat and would be happy to make another visit. Food was excellent...
Lovely place to eat. Wine is a bit expensive for what it is but the overall experience was very good. Our server ( Dean ) was excellent. Friendly and attentive without being
over familiar. He had the balance just right.
Lovely evening with great food and service. Only drawback was rather dull lighting making it very difficult to read the menus!
Food was lovely but main courses were not very warm. Service great! Beautiful place. Overall great experience
As good as always, staff are always charming and professional
Absolute amazing. The food, service and entire evening was perfect.
Excellent ambience and service at the cocktail bar whilst waiting was great. Food ( steak) also excellent. Highly recommend
We arrived before our reservation and were asked to grab a drink from the bar whilst they find us a great table that suited our Birthday Celebrations. After about 20mins, we were taken to our table, which can best be described as being on M6 motorway, with one of the seats being placed on the thoroughfare through the restaurant, dodging customers & staff alike (far from the great table they promised). We placed our orders, including a bottle of white wine which our waiter advised he would place in a bucket of ice next to the table, however when we liked, there was no ice in there just water! At this point we contacted a manager and explained the issues, which she rectified by moving us to a much better table and filled the ice bucket. At the end of the night our waiter never asked us if we wanted coffees or any after dinner drinks.... disappointing as we did. The music in the restaurant resembled a Nightclub which was much too loud for such a restaurant... Food Excellent, ambiance not a patch on the London Ivy.
Fabulous place to visit the decor and staff presentation make it a special night. Great atmosphere and great food.
The Ivy was not what I expected, the bar area was bigger than the dining area, music was very loud for dining and conversation. Dining experience was very rushed, my partner had a great steak but the side of truffle and Parmesan chips was very disappointing as they served frozen chips. Found it all rather gimmicky. Won’t be going again
Amazing place - fantastic food and service - had a fabulous evening
This is my third visit and I have enjoyed each one. The only thing that wasn't as good this time was the position of our table. I enjoyed the visa from the rooftop restaurant as we had a lovely window seat and both me and my friend had a good view. I also enjoyed a window seat in the brasserie and for some reason the ambience is better on that side and our waiter was outstanding. On Saturday I was facing the wall and with no mirror there I could only see my family and I do like to people watch. However we enjoyed the food, drinks and lovely atmosphere.
The overall experience, from arrival, to our hostess, to our food and drinks, was excellent, and brilliant value for money.
There is a very happy vibrant atmosphere at The Ivy which in a climate of gloom weatherwise and politically is very uplifting. The service is outstanding as is the quality of the menu.
Great afternoon for my friends birthday. Service was great with lovely food.
The food was great as one would expect and the decor was fabulous. Our waiter, Gary was very attentive and helpful.
The only blight on the evening was that Esther music was so loud that conversation was extremely difficult. We did ask one of the waiters if it could be turned down in our section but he said it wasn’t possible as the speakers were on capable of being adjusted individually.
Maybe this is something that the management could look at. Otherwise we really enjoyed the evening.
Lovely food and great atmosphere. We just felt the olives we ordered was a rip off. A tiny tiny plate with 5 olives £3.70 was disappointing.
Lovely restaurant, have been a few times before. Have knocked one star off for the price of wine as after the house wine which is reasonably priced it jumps up in price for anything else.
For special occasions. It is a must. I booked as a new year treat with friends.
