The Ivy Brasserie, Spinningfields
The Ivy Brasserie is open all day, seven days a week. Serving modern British classics for breakfast, lunch, dinner, weekend brunch and everything in-between.
The Ivy Asia and Bar is located on the second floor, open seven days a week from 5pm and from 12pm at the weekends. There is a central glamorous late night bar and the restaurant is illuminated with a show-stopping green, semi-precious stone floor serving Asian-inspired cocktails and sharing dishes with entertainment and resident DJ’s.
This is a great restaurant for any occasion. I always feel as if I'm dining out in style because of the decor and the courteous and professional staff. The food is also excellent but not overly expensive.
Booked a table for myself and my mum for our birthdays. They made us feel very special as soon as we walked through the door to the moment we walked out. Amazing food and the waiter was so lovely. Definitely be paying further visits in the future. Thank you
The food was lovely as too were the waiting staff however we were very disappointed t be seated by the lady on the front desk at a very small table immediately next to 2 other diners. We were close we could all hear each others conversations perfectly well and this felt extremely uncomfortable. I presumed we’d been seated there as opposed to the other numerous empty tables as they were booked however they remained empty for the duration of our time there. I would go back but I would absolutely ask not to be seated unnecessarily close to other diners.
The Ivy was recommended to us and we not disappointed. Everything about the restaurant was superb we will definitely return at some point .

The service charge was a surprise on the bill which took the shine off an otherwise really good evening.
The highlight was the service. We had such a lovely man looking after us. Couldn’t fault the food either.
We had one tiny issue with the restaurant’s policy not to serve 18 year olds unless they have ID. Normally my son and his girlfriend can share a bottle of wine with us but not on this occasion. We accept that it’s the restaurant’s policy though and will ensure they have their ID next time.
Bilal was our waiter. He was brilliant. He kindly met all our demands and there were lots of demands!!!!
Bonus for Bilal!!
An amazing atmosphere fab food made my daughters 18th a very.memorable day
Had my first visit to the Ivy at the weekend and was very impressed with the food and the service. From the moment we arrived in the reception area they could not do enough for you. However, it did take a while for us to be served at the bar and the food could have been hotter but this would not put me off going again or recommending it to my friends.
Very good food and nice staff. Highly recommend!!!
Food and service excellent.
But why have a DJ, mid-afternoon Sunday? Too loud and bass/throbby. Varied age-range, but probably a majority of middle-aged diners when we were in. Music inappropriate and too loud for comfortable chatting.
First visit for my Husbands Birthday. First class service, ambiance and food. A nice treat, and would visit again.
From the minute we were stood outside having pictures to eating the beautiful food we were made to feel welcome. All the staff are wonderful and I can’t wait to return
Absolutely excellent had a wonderful time and have already recommended it.
The Ivy is a nice restaurant to visit. The food and service are "ok." Food is good but it is not any better than any other good restaurant. Service is as it should be but it is no better than what constitutes the service you should expect.
The surroundings make a really nice dining experience. The interior is spectacular. Nice table linen, crockery etc make it feel special.
Food and drinks cost more but it's understandable as you can see where it's been spent.
We had a table for four people which was more suited to three people maximum. Consequently when sharing sides we managed to smash a glass of red wine over the table (insufficient room for easy placement of items). The waiter was great and exchanged a meal at no expense whilst also moving us to another table. Point being there are too many tables for the space, and service was slow. The food, however very nice and not overly expensive.
I think it is a case of style over substance. I have to say I was left disappointied with the food and drink quality.
Love it here. I went with my husband for his pre-birthday meal. He really liked it. He loved the atmosphere, buzzing, but you could hear yourself talk. Food was delicious and the service great
The venue, staff, service and food was all excellent again!!
Not good service, didn’t advise us that the steak tartlet was raw meat. He apologised at the end once I paid.
Absolutely amazing, wonderful food, extremely helpful and friendly staff and brilliant atmosphere. We can’t wait to come again!!
Had a great time at The Ivy Brasserie. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. In particular our waiter, Aeron, who has us laughing all afternoon. Definitely recommend to friends and will be back again!
Lovely food and service. Would recommend
Form over function this place for me. The decor is very busy and the food fairly average pub fare.
We were celebrating my husband's 60th birthday and the whole experience was faultless. Thank you.
Fantastic restaurant loved our time with you will definately be back thank you so much
Great service, drinks on the pricey side but you expect that.
Birthday dinner which the restaurant was well aware of. No courtesy dessert with candle despite other tables receiving the same. Our table was so wobbly that one small move from my friend sent two full glasses of champagne flying. No offer of refilling the glasses until we complained, despite waitress seeing exactly what had happened. Tablecloth not replaced after the spillage- just two napkins placed over the top for the rest of the meal (we hadn’t even had starters by this point). Not the kind of service you expect from the Ivy.
Only marked down on food because we we ordered a vegetarian shepherd’s pie and were served a meat shepherd’s pie. It led to us eating our meals (2 of us) at separate times, despite being there to celebrate a birthday.
The staff were apologetic and i can’t fault the guys that were serving us but something went seriously wrong with our order.
Beautiful building, great atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff, just very disappointed with the error on our order.
Loved eating at The Ivy, great atmosphere and beautiful decor but, for me, it was too noisy on Friday night. Maybe we picked the wrong night so I’d like to do a return visit sometime. Excellent value for money, we had the set two course dinner option. Would highly recommend for the experience of eating in such a lovely setting.
It was nice food and a nice atmosphere. I think it’s a bit overated and probably wouldn’t return for food. They didn’t have a large selection of drinks. The service was great!
Faultless service and amazing food.
Superb from strawberry gin start to malted banana ice cream finish.
Service superb from super friendly staff.
If you want to feel special! Book a table! You won’t be disappointed.
Not at all busy but almost impossible to get the staff’s attention for coffees, food etc. Took forever to make coffees. Disappointing service.
80th birthday food very good, service excellent only comment would be ambience as a DJ was on but thought this was a bit too loud given the week, get you would have a more Lively weekend vibe
booked last minute , mid week, staff attentive, polite an knowledgeable regarding drinks and food
This is my second visit and I love it, informal, good food with amazing cocktails and atmosphere. Love it...
A fabulous evening celebrating my sons 21st , tasty food, lovely surroundings.
Just excellent. Could not ask for experience. Will visit again.
