Excellent food, good service. Very happy.
Had such a fabulous meal here and it’s our sixth visit.
Everyone’s food was top notch as was the service! Our waiter was efficient , courteous and hugely knowledgeable.
One tiny gripe the duck salad starter at £9.95 was so delicious but minuscule so maybe this needs addressing?
Excellent night out, food was great as usual, the staff were excellent.... Great venue!!
Recommended as a destination to eat we were very impressed. Attentive, excellent service, delicious food, nice atmosphere. Early time slot (5.30pm) was acceptable , suited us well. Not shocked by the bill!
A fabulous evening at The Ivy, everything was perfect from the food to the service. A very special night for us as we were visiting my Son who lives in Manchester. Thank you, we will be back.
We ate in the Brasserie ,was fairly quiet as was a Tuesday , early eve. Food was good, service very good.
Starters quite expensive, Mains reasonable, dessert a triumph!
We had tomatoes, mozzarella. Tuna main Chocolate bomb dessert.
Brasserie really just an easy, relaxed place to eat.
Roof gardens nice but a bit more of a to be seen in place!
We were celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary and the young lady who served us was delightful. Meal was delicious, it was all lovely - thank you 😀
Always a fabulous experience and attentive service. It’s not cheap, but that’s not why you go.
Loved it! Staff excellent & food amazing. We had a really brilliant time & would highly recommend.
Lovely ambience, food excellent, staff very friendly and helpful.
Love to go again
Stunning place, food and staff were great. Will definitely be back. It was our 25th anniversary and we were made to feel very special.
Excellent dining experience in The Brasserie. Couldn't fault any element of the food or service.
Food was amazing the staff were so friendly so attentive !! Would 1000% go back.
What an amazing experience.. We had the afternoon tea which was delish the service was outstanding the staff could not do enough for you and they were exceptionally friendly. The place and the surroundings devine.. Really enjoyed our day at the ivy would love to come again
To dine in the Brasserie is a good experience. To sample the rooftop garden was also good. The whole time spent there was excellent
Warm welcome, excellent professional service from arrival to leaving. Superb food, very knowledgeable waiting staff.
Very good food, very good service, will definitely go back.
Ate at a few of the Ivys. First time at spinning fields. Staff very helpful but needed to use phone torch to see menu as it wasn’t isn’t to read in the light. The next table had to do the same. Unfortunately the food didn’t live up to others we’ve ate in. Perhaps just an off day.
Fantastic service and food and the cocktails were great. Value for money and a lovely venue.
Outstanding, classy, fantastic service very professional , absolutely will return the food was first class
Fabulous food amazing surroundings.
Service was great and friendly.
Hello, service and food was excellent.
However the tables for 4 people are small and feel we are on top of other diners. I will ask for a booth or larger table next time.
The service is excellent and does deserve a tip, however 30% is a bit too much and you shouldn't be dictated by how much you should pay? They are after all doing a job, I and lots of other people do not get a 30% tip for doing their job well???
ALL FOOD WELL PRESENTED I HAD THE FISH & CHIPS WHICH WAS REALLY GOOD ONLY THING I DIDN'T ENJOY WAS THE HOUSE LAGER WE WILL RETURN THE ATMOSPHERE WAS GOOD THROUGHOUT NOT SURE 12.5% SERVICE CHARGE IS RIGHT LEVEL ALWAYS HAPPY TO PAY 10% AND IF EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE GIVE A BIT MORE
Lovely experience, amazing staff would definitely be returning
Not always keen to not decide on a service charge. Long waits but apologetic and professional. A free glass of wine doesn’t go a miss!
Beautiful food and building
A beautiful place to dine with lovely food and amazing service! Would definitely go again
Been to the Ivy numerous times at the Manchester and London restaurants. The food this time was nice however no one checked back on our main courses and the steaks were all undercooked. The Ivy as everyone knows is very popular for celebrities dining when we visited a Manchester City player was there also, me and my friend were physically stopped from going to the restroom to allow the player and his party to enter the lift which was very disappointing. When returning to our table we asked the receptionist if the player was who we thought he was, the answer we got in return was harsh and unwelcoming. The London staff were very happy to say which celebrity were dining. The visit to the restaurant was for a birthday every table around celebrating a birthday all had a small cake with a candle we also did not have this service. The overall meal experience was good but we have had better visits.
The food was good, but 2 points which disappointed were as follows:
1. We asked for nibbles before the starter - they came with the starter
2. We didn’t ask for the bill it was just placed on the table - no dessert or coffee
First time visit. Really enjoyed it. Good good, good atmosphere, great drinks.
First visit so unsure of what to expect ? We were met at the door and then began a very slick personal experience that was absolutely first class at every point. Very attentive staff and great food. We will definitely be returning as service like this is very very hard to find. Keep it up Ivy
Highly recommend the atmosphere and setting is beautiful a real treat. The food is lovely. The waiter was attentive and did not have to wait long for food. Service was seemless to be honest it is run really well
For something a little different the Ivy did not disappoint, beautiful surroundings, great service and excellent food, next time would love to try the roof top bar
Quite disappointed, still had a lovely afternoon but wasn’t the experience I was expecting.
Lovely place and friendly staff, food was nice but average and nothing special compared to cheaper prices pubs and restaurants.
First visit and extremely impressed with the food and service. Will definitely be returning in the future. Highly recommend the chocolate bombe pudding!
Really enjoyed it - the attitude of one staff member let it down a bit - everything else was really good
Didn’t rate the food. Nothing spectacular or to write home about
I’ve dined in top class restaurants and The Ivy isn’t on the same level.
Attention to detail should be adhered to. Tables should be cleaned for spillages before the next courses come. Napkins should be laid on laps.
Crumbs wiped away.
Nice location, good vibe, but the food and portions were simply okay, and the prices were horrendously over the top. Unfortunately, I’d say Beefeater tastes just as good, if not better, and is 50% or more cheaper, with just as much atmosphere, as well. First time, enjoyed slightly, but never again.
Service and atmosphere was really good, however I find the food to be average and slightly overpriced, you’re really just paying for the decor.
Would still recommend thought!
Lovely food and atmosphere
