Great choice of food, wine and plenty of Christmas cocktails! Staff are very pleasant from the moment you arrive. Busy at lunchtime but we were very well looked after. Special mention for our waiter Stephen who was charming and a pleasure to meet. Thank you for lovely lunch.

The Festive Breakfast was excellent especially when they agreed to serving it in 3 parts. A big thank you to the kitchen for making mine Eggs Benedict. Our server was amazing and couldn’t do enough for us. Only wish we had gotten his name because he definitely deserves a mention. The restaurant strives to provide excellent customer service and on this occasion they delivered. Cannot recommend Brunch at The Ivy enough. From the minute we were greeted at the door until we left we were made to feel special and valued. Thank you.

The vegetarian selection was poor. Not all vegetarians want salad for a “posh meal”. Starters were fine and I ended up having a starter for my main. Staff were brilliant. Particularly Alex. I’ve visited a few branches of The Ivy and apart from the one at Tower Bridge which was horrendous, always found everything to. E fantastic except the vegetarian choices. Maybe time to look at that??

Was given a meal voucher as a present hence the reason for attending. The food was good and the beer choice limited. The service was very good and couldn't be faulted. Overall it's an expensive eat out experience and wouldn't be my first choice for any future days\nights out. Lovely surroundings and service but lacking in value for money

Beautiful food and great service… up until I asked for the bill. The gentleman behind the bar was very rude when I questioned the food that had been added twice to my bill. The server who was very helpful, sorted the mistake and took one of the sides off as a good will gesture. Such a shame that one persons attitude put a negative spin on a lovely day

The venue was wheelchair accessible and with an accessible toilet. The ivy delivered far more than hope for. Staff handled dietary needs brilliantly. I would be surprised to read or hear anything negative about the ivy as it was a totally pleasurable experience with no issues and the prices were very reasonable. The menu has clearly been well thought out, the right people employed and company training enhancing their excellent qualities. The ivy is place to go for both everyday and special occasions and is well worth the effort and time , the venue will repay in dividends

Another outstanding meal at the Ivy. The overall experience was fantastic, lovely food and the waiting staff were so attentive. The only little drawback was the flight of stairs to the toilets, needed some negotiation as they were quite steep in places, they also needed a little freshening up, looking a bit tired. Otherwise a very pleasant evening out.

The food was beautiful but very expensive for what you get compared to other restaurants I have visited. You need to purchase everything separate, we ordered fillet steak and then had to pay for sauce, chips, vegetables. The drinks were lovely but very expensive. Service was really good and the restaurant was beautiful inside, even the toilets were very clean and very classy. Overall had a really enjoyable meal but found the prices high especially for drinks.

Myself and my friend loved the decor of the place. The staff were helpful however we felt we were rushed. We hadn’t even finished our bread and the staff were whisking our side plates away. I understand the run up to Christmas is busy for everyone but we felt it was the staff had been told get folk in, get them served as quick as you can and get them out and onto the next person. It would def put me off going again if this is how they operate.

Busy Saturday afternoon and food and service were excellent. Only minor complaint was the draft from the door to our table but really that was very minor and it was very cold outside. Venison Tartar was excellent, as was the fillet, cooked exactlay as requested!

We went yesterday for lunch as a 4. The table we were at was too cold and we got a huge blast of cold air everytime someone came in front door. We asked to be moved but were told we had to wait 45mins. Food was fine we were all happy although i think £55 is alot consideing we were all cold. Place was quite noisy but is to be expected for this time of year.

We booked the Ivy as it was for our 50th birthday celebrations and wanted to go somewhere different and a bit special and as it always looked busy. We were kept waiting standing at the bar as our table wasn’t ready and were told it would be a couple of minutes. Almost 30 minutes later we were seated. Whilst standing at the bar none of the staff offered us drinks (which were very overpriced for what they were), we had to ask. When seated we took our coats off and had to bundle them in the seats behind us as no one offered to take them, even though the table next to us who sat down a few minutes after us had their coats taken away, and it seemed so did everyone else around us! The service overall was quite slow and poor. The food was amazing (compliments to the chef), after our main course we ordered desserts which took another 20 minutes to arrive. Whilst still eating our desserts a staff member came to the table and said they would need the table back in 15 minutes!! Pointing out to them that we were seated almost 30 minutes late didn’t seem to make a difference. A member of staff then asked to take our plates (one person still eating and had only just been given coffee)! Offered to find us a seat at the bar. We finished our drinks and asked for the bill, which arrived promptly, although it took a while for someone to take payment. It wasn’t the experience we were expecting and hoped for. There was no Christmas atmosphere, no Christmas decor apart from a Polar Bear at the front door wearing a Christmas jumper, it really lacked lustre. It was too busy for the number of staff they had on who couldn’t cope with the demands and give that extra attention to customers paying over the odds for something which should have been a bit more special. Disappointing all round (apart from the food). An expensive experience never to be repeated.

Food good . Cocktails pricey. Disappointed at the pressure to leave as had met time limit despite tables around being free and not having had sweet yet although did allow us sweet, provided we vacated table afterwards. . Do your talking before and after as at the Ivy to eat. Suggest table away from door as there is a chill when door opens. Staff were lovely and over attentiveness seemed lovely until realised it was to hurry us along for time limit. A bit disappointed with experience this time . Would recommend but would highlight pros and cons.

Lovely place great food. Very busy around 5pm. Better sitting well into the restaurant if you get your table there. We were quite near the door and it could be drafty every time the door opened. Staff excellent.
