    Very disappointed in my burger. Dry and rubbery, like a frozen burger you would expect from a pub lunch. Not what I would expect from a high end restaurant. I was so looking forward to going there and there was 4 of us for a friend’s birthday. The shepherds pie was said to be nice apart from it being spoiled with cheesy mash on top instead of just normal mash. The minute steaks were again nice but they said swimming in peppercorn sauce so they couldn’t see the steak underneath, as you couldn’t see if there was fat on it or not so they too were not happy. On a plus our starter and desserts were a hit. You want to see how to do a great burger ???? Go to your rivals 63rd and 1st and they will show you how it’s done.

    I was looking for an intimate restaurant with great food and service for a special date! I’m so happy I chose ‘The Ivy’ after my daughter recommended it to me. Can’t fault the restaurant and will be back soon. Thanks to all the staff 👍

    This is a beautiful restaurant and great for a girlie lunch. Excellent service. Food was lovely but very overpriced. All in, definitely worth a visit!

    Avoid table 37 - booked weeks in advance only to be placed at this table. It is at the back of the restaurant facing the servers station so you do not get ‘The Ivy’ experience. Sadly wrong dish served too and my guest ended up eating alone while I waited for mine - they did not offer to take hers away and serve both together. Overall not a great experience. No doubt a beautiful building if you get the right table. Perhaps we were unlucky. Automatic service charge added too which niggles me - surely my choice to decide.

    Excellent service, delicious food, gorgeous cocktails and a relaxed, lux deco environment. If you enjoy a theatrical element to your meal, would recommend the whisky smoked steak tartare and the chocolate bomb. Both delicious with a wee bit of extra flare.

    Was there on Friday for hubby’s birthday. We love the Ivy and have been couple of times to the Glasgow and Edinburgh venues. My hubby ordered a steak medium/rare and it came well done. Sent it back and this time it was medium/well done. Very disappointing as we didn’t expect this at the Ivy. Next time we know not to order a steak

    They took our carry-on luggage without being asked, the recption person showed us to a great corner table and asked if we wanted her to take our coats (and returned with the coat check), the waiter and the other table staff were friendly while being totally professional, and the food was high quality. We weren't rushed even though they were busy. A lovely evening.

    Beautiful interiors. Lovely welcome. However, felt service was a bit slow especially with drinks. In all fairness, the waiter seemed really busy, so possibly staff shortages. One of our dishes was steak with chips but the chips never arrived. Will return but will probably wait a while.

    Very good as always! Never had a bad lunch or dinner in the ivy. And lovely cocktails aswell. And the have the best dessert with the chocolate bomb if your a chocolate lover.

    Waited quite a long time for food arrival and had to send burger back as it was pink inside. Replacement took 25 minutes to arrive and partner had finished his meal by then. Staff did deduct partners sweet from the bill, which was a decent gesture, but given it wasn’t him that had over an hour wait for his food, it was a strange decision.

    Lunch and service were excellent my husband mentioned that our visit was a birthday treat. The waiter brought our dessert along with cake with lit candle & happy birthday chocolate disc which was a lovely unexpected gesture .

    My favourite restaurant! Expensive but imo worth every penny. Decor and ambience in Glasgow are simply stunning and every bit as good as the others in London.Great service too! Highly recommend 👌

    Excellent service but Ivy Burger and fries were very dry. Partners Salmon Fishcake was lovely. When asked if we want water for the table customers should be told it’s £4.65 a bottle or have an option of tap water. Felt a bit mugged!

    Fantastic location with a lovely frontage and gorgeous interior. It has a great ambience with a good selection of lovely food and drinks. It was very good value for money. Staff were very friendly and attentive and we were served our food in a flash. Would definitely recommend and I can’t wait to go back.
