   A pleasant meal but received wrong main course and I foolishly miss-read the champagne her glass for per bottle! The food was wonderful, the rosemary almonds are mind-blowing, we attended for a birthday, the only real drawback was I'd ordered the roast lamb, since they'd run out of the fillet steak and a different lamb dish arrived. I honestly thought a bit odd but was hungry, so just ate it and thought perhaps I'd miss-interpreted the menu. I'd then ordered two desserts, as I was still hungry, since my lamb turned up without anything else to accompany it, no roast potatoes, carrots, Yorkshire pudding, gravy etc. So the quality of the food was excellent but an error in ordering had somehow meant I got a different dish to the one I requested. The per glass prices for champagne are also shown but not per bottle, so the £23 bottle was in fact £140, so that's my mistake and not the end of the world, should have worn my glasses! Overall, it was very nice, just a slight blemish and was just offered a glass of Ivy Champagne on my next visit but bearing in mind I've just spent £426 plus tip, I'm not sure a glass of bubbling is really going to entice me to go back. So my advice, try and keep a menu, so you can check your order!

   First time at Tonbridge Wells but another top class experience. From the first greeting by the reception staff to the unfortunately inevitable goodbye, it was a most enjoyable evening with great food and service in another beautifully decorated Ivy restaurant.

   We usually love going to The Ivy in Tunbridge Wells. Service was good as usual, but one of our meals arrived barely warm. Although it was sent back willingly and a fresh hot meal arrived, it disturbed the flow of the evening. We paid the full price of the meal whereas maybe a gesture from management would have been helpful. The coffee pots (which we always enjoy with the cream) were very tarnished - a quick polish with a silver cloth would not go amiss. We will be back and hopefully these issues will be resolved.

    Food always consistently good. Sometimes the service a bit hit and miss but tonight, form the lady greeting us to the fabulous waiter, it was really good. As always, when you’re spending over £75 a head, a tad annoying to only be allowed a 2 hour slot
