A lovely brunch with delicious food and drink in a fantastic setting with excellent service.
Lovely table and super attentive waitress
We love going to the ivy t Wells
Felt like I was in london without having to go all the way! Was interesting food and the vegan menu was amazing.
We had a lovely evening celebrating my 60th birthday with our friends. Food was lovely. Waitress was very attentive but not overbearing. Thank you for a lovely evening
Lovely evening as always, staff friendly and so attentive, food amazing, service just right.
Our meal was lovely and the service from staff was 5 star
After 18 months apart, the team met for a lunch. Service great, food delicious, it was the perfect place for a bit of a celebration and chatty catch up
Attentive staff, fantastic food and lovely restaurant to go to.
Gf menu not available had to rely on staff knowing so would not visit again
Food and service were amazing but we do find the drinks and deserts overpriced
Had a lovely meal for my sister's birthday. Staff were so friendly, great service and the food was delicious
Highly recommended friendly helpful and attentive staff. Food was delicious.
My wife and I have dined here on a number of occasions, and it has been wonderful each time. This is the second time having brunch. Had the pancakes…they were amazing! Absolutely stuffed! I cant fault any aspect of our experience except one minor quibble…we weren’t able to book a table for four for a later date as they were fully booked. So not such a bad quibble really.
One of the staff members behind the bar was heard swearing
We went here for our first dinner out after lockdown. The staff were very attentive and really enjoyed the experience. And great cocktails. Would go again.
Felt great to be back and really buzzy.
Was busy and table turnaround was quite speedy.
Good covid checks.
Staff lovely as always.
Would have liked a choice of tables as booked so long ago, don’t really like being next to toilets and have had better tables in the past for 4 people.
Always love eating at the Ivy.... brilliant atmosphere, great food and very welcoming staff
Lovely Anniversary meal . Amazing service our lovely waitress was so attentive. Food was beautiful.
Decor needs updating . Whilst we understand it was Art Deco in some areas the whole place could do with an upgrade . Nevertheless we thoroughly enjoyed our meal . We will definitely return .
Delicious food, great service and lovely atmosphere. Love the Ivy chains never disappoint
This was second time here in two weeks. Absolutely love the place. Thank you
Greeted cooly, were told we couldn’t have dessert and after lunch cocktails because we only had 25 minutes left of our booking, fish cake was bland and whilst I was in the toilet they told my party that they really just have the table back now and booted them out onto the pavement. I came out wondering where everyone had gone. Appreciate that we had booked a 2 hour cover but the place was half empty and we’d spent over £200 on a meal. Just not impressed, surly yo themselves staff, food ok but nothing special and overpriced for what it is. I’d sooner go to Bill’s their service is always excellent and the food just as good as The Ivy. Shame
Wonderful food and service as always. First time having brunch at The Ivy and will be going back. Very reasonably priced and staff attentive.
Fantastic decor, ambience.Staff so professional & attentive
Excellent food as usual, but evening spoilt by excessive noise in main restaurant. Some diners were standing and talking loudly to diners at another table. This really should not be allowed given current restrictions.
The only negative was the unwelcome muzack, which only served to make table talk difficult.
We have eaten several times pre first lockdown.
The new staff and menu additions were outstanding.
A wonderful long lazy afternoon lunch with our grandson was just perfect.
Many thanks to the team for creating such a wonderful ambience, welcome & service we will be back !
My wife and i had a lovely lunch. We were served by Hani. Exceptional service. The Ivy is our favourite restaurant. We are going back soon
We were very impressed with the service there and the food was amazing
Having been here before, we both had a great evening and enjoyed the food, ambiance and indeed to service!! We will be back but my better half will pay next time! 😀
A lovely celebration meal , good food and ambience
Lovely meal food excellent, difficult to hear due to not enough soft furnishings in the main dining area, lovely a quiet in the smaller dining area where we were seated on our second visit but we were only 4
Very good service. Lovely decor and relaxed atmosphere. Took dietary requirements into consideration. Very good food. Enjoyed our visit.
Lovely experience. A surprise birthday cake made it special
Good atmosphere and service but expensive for what you get
This is our “go to” restaurant for a special occasion and it never fails to please at all levels. My only wish is that they added a couple of “Specials” to the menus because we have now eaten our way through all the really exciting dishes on the menus.
The Ivy is by far the best restaurant for miles around Tunbridge Wells. The ambience and service is outstanding; the creative environment and attentive staff make for a wonderful dining experience. The food is excellent and very competitively priced, representing good value for money and the wine and cocktail list is also excellent. We tried the non alcoholic cocktails which were surprisingly good. My only suggestion for improvement is that the menu would benefit from a few more changes from time to time, perhaps additional daily specials. I recently had the shepherd's pie which was wonderful, on previous occasions, I have stuck with the lobster linguini, again wonderful.
My reason for only giving 4 stars for Overall and Food, instead of 5 is that there is always areas for improvement. I guess, I am anxious that The Ivy thrives, it is too much of a gem to lose, so I'd encourage the team to strive to maintain the highest standards they already have, and not let them drift as other local restaurants have. Then we can enjoy The Ivy for years to come.
We have been in twice in one week now. Once for our anniversary and once for a friends birthday. Both times were brilliant. Our server Patricia both times was amazing, very helpful with allergy’s and made both the evenings very fun. I highly the Ivy.
