   Lovely meal at The Ivy, Tunbridge Wells yesterday for my granddaughter's 18th. A really nice touch was that as she had just passed her A-levels, The Ivy gave her a glass of prosecco. In addition, because it was her birthday they also gave her a complimentary dessert! Very much appreciated, as was the whole meal, wonderful flavours and excellent service from the young lady that served us with a smile. Can't wait to return, always an enjoyable experience.

    Great relaxed atmosphere here. The drinks were good, my wife had a mocktail and I had the house lager as the one I chose had sold out, but it was a lovely flavour. Straight into the main course with a caesar salad for me and my wife fancied 2 starters as a main. Finishing with sorbets each, the food was great! Flavours are spot on! Service was attentive but not too much. Value was very good!

    We was rather disappointed with the service at tunbridge wells and doubt we will return anytime soon. We was happily greated however by a polite and happy host who told us our table wasn't quite ready which we didn't mind so sat at the bar for around 10 minutes. The waitresses there after where so miserable and rude no service with a smile given atal which made us all feel very uncomfortable throughout. The drinks and deserts were delishious but even so we left swiftly due to the odd unfriendly atmosphere of the staff around us. such a shame as it was a special occasion for us all.

    We were placed in the "side room" bit which was extremely hot. I saw three ladies fanning themselves and I myself asked if the air conditioning could be ramped up but was told it was already on maximum. It clearly wasn't working. Service on the whole was good although there were a couple of occasions where our food came out of the kitchen and was stood by the waiter's station as he was elsewhere. My husband's starter was sat there for five minutes. When we had finished our meal we had to stack our own plates as they were not removed for quite some time. I usually love the Ivy but this was one of our worst visits.

    Starters were great tempura prawns first rate with a nice kick scollops great as always fish and chips is another staple very good I tried the Milianse Chicken no great slightly tougher than I expected maybe touch over beaten nice truffle chips finished with profiles rolls they are super drinks we’re great as ever service first rate we love the IVY tried a new dish not one of my favourites but fine I try something else next time it was good size just not to my taste I still recommend the Zia bay

    I cannot recommend the The Ivy Tunbridge Wells enough! had brunch with friends on Saturday 13th (Table 10) our waitress sorry should of got her name was lovely, helpful and friendly - thank you for looking after us :) I have had breakfast, lunch, dinner, afternoon tea and now brunch, food is always fantastic and staff are always helpful, that's why i keep coming back :) Keep up the good - thanks to everyone, yes I will be back

    Two of out party were coeliacs and from past experiences from other places this had resulted in disappointment but not here. The afternoon was amazing for us all.I cannot fault the food and service at all. Totally fabulous!

    Lovely atmosphere in The Ivy, Tunbridge Wells. Thoroughly enjoyed the food. Service seemed a little rushed initially. I personally didn’t like the floor being swept about our feet, whilst we were still seated but my husband didn’t mind. Would definitely recommend to others.

    Booked the restaurant for a birthday lunch having been before. Very disappointed with the service. Waitress standing by the service station 3 meters away whilst we sat with empty plates waiting to be cleared. Also, ordered a Pernod as an aperitif and caused some consternation amongst staff - big conflab by the bar with the Manager and two others. Eventually after 10 minutes it arrived - no ice ; no water to accompany it. Had to ask for these and wait a further 10 minutes. Our food was good no complaints here, but you have to question the organisation of staff of which there were plenty but there is obviously a training need in terms of the drink portfolio. We assumed that the guy in the checked suit was the Manager but he certainly didn't seem to be leading his team from the front rather it was a case of management by walking about but not taking anything in. Given our experience I will certainly think twice about going back to this branch of the Ivy which is a shame because it is right on our doorstep. Finally, a further let down was the birthday treat brought to our table after the desserts - a choux bun filled with chocolate ganache and cream and topped with chocolate sauce. Looked delicious but the choux bun was dry and stale. Took the gloss off the whole well intentioned gesture!

    Food was very good & as a nice touch they gave my wife a small birthday cake. However this was not the Ivy I have experienced at other places. The staff were disinterested & verging on rude .Not what you expect at The Ivy. We went there for a special lunch & apart from the food we would probably have been better treated at a cafe down the road, Have been to the London & provincial Ivy restaurants many times but this is the worst. No Ivy experience here.

    Please review your wine pricing it is far too expensive. Some wines such as Chianti and Primotivo are way overpriced. Generally wine mark ups are x 3 retail, but most of yours are x 4 and some x 5 making them way overpriced. However, your house wines are value for money.

    Delicious champagne afternoon tea, lovely to have a choice of rose and regular champagne. Excellent service. Only disappointment was not being allowed to have a window table as requested and as I had on my previous visit. We were seated in the main walkway opposite the bar and near the entrance so was quite busy and noisy. The reason for not being offered a window table was due to a staff meeting being held in that area and all tables around it were out of use due to this.
