    The afternoon tea looked beautiful when it arrived. However, the cucumber sandwiches were very bland and a chocolate pastry was so soft that it fell apart as we picked it up, and it didn’t make it to our plates. The red velvet cake was beautiful, as was the brioche.

    My husband took me to the Ivy Café Wimbledon for champagne afternoon tea. We were warmly greeted at the door and then seated. Our waitress was very attentive and we started off with a glass of champagne and then our amazing afternoon tea of treats was placed on the table. Every mouthful was delicious! We will definitely be coming back!

    The quality of food on the set lunch menu was very poor. 3 of us ordered Caesar salad for our main course which consisted of three very large chunks of chicken breast that were too tough to cut. They were dry and tasteless. Underneath were lettuce leaves and some very brown mushy avocado. We left most of this on our plates. The manager did not charge us for the food. I have had excellent food at the Ivy in Cobham. This lunch was inedible.

    I arrived in good time for my booking. At the check in desk I confirmed they knew that my guest who had not yet arrived, was celebrating her birthday and they would bring a small recognition of that at the end of the meal. I was shown to a table wedged between 2 tables of diners with small children. When I politely requested a different table the waitress obliged and found me a better table. She should not have tried to place me at that table knowing it was a special occasion. The meal was served efficiently, but there was no reference to my daughter's birthday and I did not want to enquire in front of her as the point was it should have been discreet. I am disappointed because I chose the Village Ivy, being familiar with other branches of the Ivy and have never had cause for complaint in the past.

    I’m a big fan of the Ivy and the Wimbledon branch doesn’t disappoint. Wonderful atmosphere, excellent food but rather pricy on the wine front. £59 for a bottle of Provence Rosé is a bit steep.

    Great food as always. Ambience, quality is consistent Service wasn't great thought. Our server was a bit 'snooty' throughout our dinner - e.g. rolled his eyes when we asked for tap water instead of a bottle of water.

    Arrived with a booking reservation. Left standing at bar for 10-15 mins as table not ready. One guest 80 yrs old and another on a walking stick yet left standing for that time. Second visit here and never again - it’s SO loud and I’m personable. Food was good. Service at the beginning though ruined what should have been a special occasion

    Lovely atmosphere inside but almost too dark and the acoustics were not great. Food was okay, slightly over seasoned and expensive for what it was. Waiters and general service was great. Nice evening out but not amazing.

    Having been here many, many times I was disappointed with my starter and main course. The zucchini fritti were over-salted compared to the norm, the chips were tasteless and "dead" and my burger was dry. It all looked lacklustre.

    A great birthday meal for my daughter. Everyone enjoyed their food and we loved the décor (especially the parrot wallpaper in the washroom). The crispy duck salad was really crispy, I had magnificent fish and chips and the steak, Korean chicken and miso aubergine were all deemed delicious. We ate at 4.30 when it was not very busy, and the experience was relaxed and good value for money. We will definitely go again.

    The calamari starter was delicious but there was hardly any calamari there. Maybe be a little more generous with the starters. I am very pleased that the music wasn't too loud and we could actually have a conversation once the noisy group next to us left.

    Excellent upmarket breakfast/brunch location. I had the full English and my girlfriend the Eggs Benedict. Lovely breakfasts with excellent coffees and juices. The service was very good. This was the first time I’d had breakfast at the Ivy and the experience lived up to expectations. At the Ivy you expect a certain standard of food and service and in my experience it’s usually delivered upon. It was this time too. Hoping for more breakfast visits in the future. Really good Saturday morning vibes at the Ivy Cafe Wimbledon Village.

    Lovely place for breakfast,though expensive. Drinks are also on the smaller side,so you end up having to pay for 2. Staff are not so attentive when busy,though very friendly and polite.

    A very pleasant suprise - as the main Ivy restaurant in Covent Garden hasn't always pleased me! However the food we had at the Ivy Cafe in Wimbldeon was all excellent (Steak tartare followed by blackened cod fillet; Salt and Roasted scallops followed by aromatic duck curry), the service was great, and the decor is attractive in the Ivy's typical Art Deco way. Recommended!

    The bread was pleasant enough although not worth the £4.5 price tag. The zucchini fritte (courgettes) were good. Plentiful and served nicely. 'Ivy cut chips' were just dry and tasteless and not the cut or flavour to go with the food offered. The £25 'daily special' of lemon sole was a total disappointment. It was super small and if I was a restaurateur would be super embarrassed to serve it. The blackened cod (soy not miso which would confuse those who know what black cod is) was alright. Service was attentive and good. Overall a disappointment due solely to the food. It's really nothing special at all.
