The service is always excellent here and the food was great. That’s why we keep coming back!
This was our 2nd visit in a week. Very impressed with the food. Wonderful flavours in Duck liver parfait and also the pumpkin tortellini. A very good experience, will be back.
Overall lovely. Staff friendly and attentive; Food was excellent - and it is not extortionate.
Staff were very friendly and came with a mini cake and candle at the end of the meal as I’d indicated it was a birthday on the booking, which was a lovely touch.
Enjoyed it as usual but I do think that the food standard has gone down a little since first opening a few years ago. Main course food was warm and not hot when bought out which you don't expect either. Starter and main course served were rushed out. Main about 5 mins after the starter which was annoying
A Saturday evening meal for two to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We often go to the Ivy cafe for special occasions and have never yet been disappointed. As usual the meal was excellent and the staff very friendly and helpful. A glitch with the order was sorted out professionally, helpfully and with no drama, and certainly didn't spoil a most enjoyable evening. Thoroughly recommended and we will certainly return.
Excellent food & service. Only negative is being rushed to finish due to next booking
I’ve visited this restaurant many times and have always been satisfied. I took a friend for a birthday treat and was really disappointed this time.
On arrival we were taken to our table which was next to the bar and we felt as if we were in a busy corridor! We then ordered a bottle of Prosecco and after 10mins noticed it was still sitting at the bar.
We asked to be moved and had to wait for another table to be prepared. I have had better service in a regular high street restaurant and will lot be going back.
Had yet another lovely girlie lunch at The Ivy. Food was delicious, (although I chose the wrong thing but...) service was great and it was very busy.
We had originally booked for brunch & had to change. Reception staff were very accommodating and it was lunch instead..
My experience of dining out at the Ivy Cafe Wimbledon, was outstanding. Service, food was absolutely amazing. Desert...fantasy.
Thank you for making our evening memorable and enjoyable
Good choice of food, especially nice to see quite a few fish choices. Portion sizes for whta we had generous, even over generous. Service was very attentive without be obtrusive. A little bit noisy, but was pretty full at the time.
Looks like they are really struggling in the kitchen at the moment : fish was so over cooked (twice!) and no flavour...
We usually love this place...what’s happening guys ?!?
Service was a bit slow - it took 20 mins for our drinks to be taken and another 20 for them to arrive. Food was delicious as usual.
Outstanding and friendly service. Much better than Ivy Chelsea!
A birthday treat for my sister, nice to get a little dressed up for a change,we both had shepherd's pie , maybe could be served on a smaller plate, wine was reasonably priced,we will be back again
I had the Minute Steak and it was not very nice. I did not eat much of it. Would not recommend.
Fantastic as always
First time at this restaurant, although we have visited other Ivy restaurants. We really enjoyed the atmosphere and the food was great. The service couldn't have been better. Will definitely be returning.
The Ivy cafe is a very charming place with extremely professional and friendly staff.
Brilliant food , brilliant service and a super restaurant
Lovely meal in great surroundings
Excellent food and experience - highly recommended!
Our thirtieth wedding anniversary, a last minute booking, but I think I scored some major browny points. The food was superb, highly recommend the scallops in cauliflower purée, the service impeccable and the ambiance delightful. We had a lovely time and would highly recommend to others.
A beautiful restaurant in a fabulous location
Elegant and beautiful with very helpful and attentive staff
Two issues sadly. We had to ask to move from the front window as we were freezing under the AC
And then we were very close to a really noisy group that spoiled this special occasion
Usual high standard of food and service, served in comfortable and pleasant surroundings, cannot be faulted
The food was very good. Service excellent but thought it was a bit pricey.
Amazing place really good brunch, generous portions excellent service 😊
My birthday girls night & had an extra person added on late but table was great!
Good service & everyone loved their meal!!
Def the place to go on Wimbledon Village!
We overall had a good experience but were extremely annoyed at one factor. Our table slot was 7.15, we arrived slightly early but were allowed to the table about 7 pm. We ordered and had our starters, then mains and obtained the dessert menu. This was at 7.45pm. We were then asked several times in quick succession what we wanted for dessert. We said we would like a little more time before making our choices. After all we were only 30 minutes in to our table slot. We were then told that we were being asked as we had limited time at the table. There was also shrugging and talking to women members of staff with iPads , following which we were left alone for about 10 minutes, when we then ordered . We realise that tables are reoffered on a Saturday evening but felt that we were unnecessarily hurried bearing in mind how quickly we had been served two courses. We were also aware that the booking website says that a party of 4 (which was our party size) have a 2 hour booking slot for the table and therefore to be hurried to order the dessert course 30 minutes after our booking time seems unacceptable. This certainly affected what had been a good evening with friends
Wimbledon Village Cafe Ivy is lovely. Really lovely atmosphere, attentive service, cloth table clothes and napkins. Food is delicious and not expensive for the quality of food and service that you receive. Have tried some other cafe ivy's and not nearly as good as this one. Great for a celebration especially for older person who will appreciate the lovely touches- lemon served in gauze so that pips don't pop out into your plate, small silver gravy jugs served with the shepherd's pie.
Very nice dining experience. I had hoped to have afternoon tea but was advised on arrival that as we didn't pre book this option, we could not have it. The booking site needs to make this clear. I was a bit disappointed as we went out to celebrate my birthday.
We went to celebrate my daughters 10th Birthday. Felt special, food and service was excellent. They produced a little chocolate Birthday tart which went down a storm.
It was my friend's birthday so I treated her to a birthday lunch which was very good. I have visited the Ivy Café, Wimbledon several times in the past and have never been disappointed. Atmosphere is very nice, staff friendly and attentive and good food. Would definitely recommend and already thinking of making another booking.
A pleasant evening celebrating our wedding anniversary. The food was excellent. Initially, I was told that I could not have a sauce with my main dish (because it contained garlic; something I am allergic to), but when I suggested to the waiter that the chef could use his extensive training to knock out a quick sauce or I could do it for him/her, then the matter was swiftly resolved. The only other minor problem was the noise level. Sadly, people talk far too loudly in restaurants and show little concern for their fellow diners.
Our waiter Mickey was simply outstanding, amazing service, amazing food, looking forward to go back
Really pleased with our afternoon tea. Friendly attentive service. Great food. Value for money. Spoilt for a special birthday. Thank you
We had not been before but thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Lovely décor, excellent friendly service and delicious food. It wasn't cheap but it is the Ivy Café.
Lovely ambiance with friendly and efficient service. Interesting menu which was well balanced and good value. The food was tasty and well presented. Good selection of wine at a reasonable cost. Altogether a most enjoyable evening with excellent food and wine.
Have been to The Ivy Cafe in Wimbledon on quite a few occasions, it is always a fabulous experience, the food, the staff, the layout in fact everything is always superb. Looking forward to many more enjoyable times there. Thank you to everyone there.
I had a lovely night, food was perfect with great recommendations from the staff, atmosphere was lively and buzzing, decor attractive, good value for a lovely night out. I will definitely eat there again.
