The Ivy Cambridge Brasserie
Fabulous evening, waitress was exceptional and treated the Birthday girls with a celebratory dessert which was a nice touch. Delicious food & lovely ambiance
Great menu choice. Everyone enjoyed their meal, ingredient quality & dish presentation was very nice.
Food was good. Drinks were good. Dessert was good. Good night
Pre lockdown #2 dinner - Great food, service and ambience thank you!
The service, the food, the atmosphere absolutely amazing!
Excellent food and amazing service by Esse he is a fabulous member of staff and personalise s your experience above and beyond.
Excellent venue for celebration afternoon tea. Staff were attentive and friendly and food was delicious
Fantastic Experience for me and my girlfriend, fab food, such a pleasant restaurant, and staff incredibly well trained making you feel special from walking in front door. Loved it can’t wait to book again 😘
Lovely atmosphere with well presented food and great service
Always an enjoyable experience. The food was delicious and the service was great.
The atmosphere is really nice. Not too loud but it does have a buzzing feel. Food was fantastic and so was the service. Will be back !
A very special evening as it will be the last before lockdown
Busy on the night before lockdown 2.0 but service was really very good, everybody enjoyed their food. Note that if you have the Zucchini as a starter that there is easily enough for 2
Fabulous as always, great food and exceptional service. You can dress up or just relax in casual cloths. Nothing is too much trouble. Great fresh food well delivered
Really enjoyed our afternoon tea experience for my wife’s birthday. We will most definitely be back for dinner after lockdown hopefully in December for my birthday. Highly recommended
The food was very nice although expensive but we knew that before we booked.
Service was excellent!
The place was lovely and clean and very nice decor.
Would definitely return for a special treat.
Perfect way to spend an evening before a dreaded lockdown. Thankyou for making it so enjoyable and cheering us up on an otherwise gloomy time
Atmosphere and service was great. However, we had a chipped glass and the food was a 7.5-8/10.
Lovely evening before lockdown number 2! celebrating a birthday - thanks
Had a lovely birthday dinner with good food and plenty of dessert! The decor was gorgeous and the gin & tonics were especially good.
Great service and food. We will definitely be back.
I love the Ivy Cambridge, always a pleasure to eat with you, I cannot elaborate on EXCELLENCE Staff Food all wonderful and of course the setting and furnishings.
The decor and detail are beautiful - although this is a chain, the Cambridge Ivy is a treat to visit. We were politely and warmly served and the set lunch was expertly cooked and presented. Perfect for a ladies lunch or a date.
Lovely food and service, great cocktails.
But please do not add a service charge to the bill! There were 2 of us and we would rather not be told what to tip. Or have the awkward Moment with the server when we ask for it to be taken off.
It’s rude and presumptuous of you.
Pre-Nov lockdown booking, family and we could not resist treating ourselves to one last restaurant bite at one of Cambridge’s premium restaurants. I have rated “value” least because all of us felt the quality and quantity of the dishes weren’t commensurate with the price. My dessert option, tiramisu, was not great, but my children enjoyed their chocolate bombe! But the service is brilliant, will go again next time I crave for a treat.
Amazing food and service. It is a place I would definitely come back to
Excellent service, presentation and wonderful vibe inside the restaurant. Quality of food was outstanding.
We went to the Ivy for a birthday celebration. The staff went out of their way to make it special. We had a lovely time.
How would I like my salmon - pink or rose? Not been asked that before - done perfectly. Drinks were very good too. Try the Ivy Sling. Not as sweet as a Singapore Sling. Passion fruit Bellini also delicious. Would have preferred puréed peas instead of traditional mushy peas with the battered cod and chips. Just to raise the level a notch.
Unfortunately some rowdy people on this evening made too much noise for this class of restaurant. But not usually a problem.
Great meal. Fast service. Felt safe with vivid measures in place. Shame we are heading into another lockdown and blow to the service industry.
We came for my daughters 30th birthday, initially we were taken to a table in The Boat Room which is usually private dining, the room was to be shared with another table of guests, it was soulless, dark and no privacy. We raised our concern as this was not what I had envisaged for my daughter and son in laws first visit. We wanted to be in the main restaurant with the decor and atmosphere that brings. Initially we were told there was no space, however after some discussion we were moved to a lovely table in the window which was perfect. We went on to enjoy a wonderful evening, food fabulous and service faultless.
We were there to celebrate my daughters 18th birthday and The Ivy really helped make it special. The servers were all friendly and efficient, the atmosphere was great and the food delicious. We especially loved the Rib Eye Steak, Lobster Linguine and Creme Brûlée. We had our temperatures checked before entering, the reception had a screen and all servers wore masks and all guests while away from table. Small hand sanitisers where provided on your table. It felt extremely Covid safe. Thanks for a great evening!
Excellent food , service and ambience
We always enjoy our dining experience at The Ivy
The staff are always so friendly but professional and efficient . One of my favourite restaurants
Booked a table for 3:45 was not seated until 5pm and not given any menus, not even an apology
The food, service, vibe and timing of the venue was impeccable as always.
This was booked for a friends birthday.... we had arrived late which was fine we knew we had a time slot... however the starters took over 45 min and they forgot ours so led to a longer wait... we then got these and our mains which were lovely. However after finishing and ordering a bottle of champagne we were told we would have to leave our seats shortly... after being let to order another full bottle and Not being able to get dessert we thought this was very unfair because the lacking in service was not our fault! I had also asked something special to be brought out for my friend so that didn’t happen either! After driving an hour and a half to get there aswell. We then got moved to the bar to finish our bottle and the waiter said he would give us 4 complimentary cocktails as to which we said no we have a full bottle to drink and he agreed to take this off the bill... £60 it was. And the price of cocktails at any ivy for 4 would probably amount to the same. Then to our utter dismay he lifted the rest of the bottle (half full) of the champagne and walked away with it!!!! Incredibly insulting and utterly rude! We then got it back after arguing with him we ordered this before we were offered any drinks complimentary for his rude abrupt manner!! It just went from bad to worse and for a place I have visited over 5 times I was beyond shocked! I will also be writing to the ivy to complain about the manager who did serve us. Not what you expect from such a regarded place I’ve never once had an issue at any ivy I’ve ever visited. It was shocking and just not the way anyone has ever treated myself or my friends.
The serviced was very rushed, and seating was quite small. But overall good!
Had a wonderful lunch in beautiful surroundings with great food. Will definitely be back!
The Arancini balls and the Chocolate Bomb were absolutely delicious
The food was outstanding, will definitely be back again
