The Ivy Cambridge Brasserie
Love The Ivy food, staff and ambience all excellent
Had a lovely time dining here. Lovely spot for special occasions.
We were given a gift voucher for afternoon tea. We were greeted warmly on arrival by the Femme Maître D who escorted us to our table. Our server was friendly, efficient and attentive. The afternoon tea was everything we had hoped for, utterly delicious. The restaurant, which is beautifully decorated, was buzzing with people celebrating. A wonderful experience, highly recommended.
Great food, lovely ambience and excellent attentive knowledgeable staff. Good from start to finish.
Lovely food and great service. Perfect for a special occasion.
The Ivy in Cambridge never fails to deliver in terms of exceptional service, food and ambiance!
This was a celebration meal and the Ivy gave the right balance of being special and relaxed at the same time. The decor is unique and colourful yet classic. The staff were very good and the food was everything we hoped for. There was a good wine list with good wines for all events and budgets
Staff at the door are rather frosty also was overcharged but bill corrected when pointed out
My wife and I last visited the Cambridge Ivy, two days after it opened and we were impressed then!
No complaints whatsoever. The food and service were excellent and we really must congratulate our waitress (Oakley?) who despite being with you for only a short period, was so helpful. Her sense of humour made our day!
We live in Chichester where we understand an Ivy is shortly to open - we shall be there!!
I love going to the Ivy! It’s fantastic every time!
We went for a birthday breakfast celebration. Food was superb, the staff were attentive and it was really calm and relaxing atmosphere.
All but one of our dishes were brilliant. The special shepherds was okay but not very special - other than that, a great evening in a lovely atmosphere.
My 4th visit, first time on a Tuesday so not too busy but loud diners made up for the noise of a full restaurant. We celebrated a 75th birthday but a disappointing visit. Waiter was too attentive with a drinks order but then the total opposite at the end of the meal. Mums Prawn cocktail came with half a head of iceberg lettuce and minimal prawns, minute steak was very fatty and couldn't cut through it but they replaced it but it took a while. Ivy Burger raw in the middle and bland. Lighting too dim leading to several diners using their mobile phone torches to read the menu. Had to remind the waiter it was my mum's birthday for the complimentary dessert, when we had watched several go out to other tables and I had requested it when booking. Real shame as I had my big birthday here earlier in the year and it was fantastic.
Definately a special occasion venue! - the prices are steep but it is a place of pilgrimage for gourmets.
Fabulous place to eat, amazing service nothing is too much trouble. The choice and quality of food is outstanding. First choice to go to eat in Cambridge as you can rely on it always being good.
We visited The Ivy for the first time for my daughters 18th birthday.
We had Eggs Royale which unfortunately was freezing cold, I spoke to the waiter and they were both changed, however they bought fresh ones out and they also were cold. Due to time limit for the day we eat cold food.
The setting was lovely and very quiet.
Lovely meal, great choice on the menu, fabulous venue and the service was excellent.
Very fashionable and happening. Good food. Very small portions good service.
It was a fabulous meal, with nothing to fault it at all. The service was impeccable, the food outstanding and drinks wonderful.
Outstanding atmosphere, glamorous environment and unforgettable experience :)
The most fragrant restaurant toilets in Cambridge. Yes, the food is good as is the ambience but that walk down to the toilets is akin to being on an ocean liner. It’s the main reason I go to The Ivy.
Nice atmosphere, attentive and polite staff and very tasty food.
A thoroughly enjoyable lunch with best friends. Staff were attentive and efficient and the food and service were very good indeed. We have been several times before and will be back.
Poor, for the second time - there won’t be a third. Signature dish served lukewarm, other dishes too - side dishes forgotten, basic requests when ordering drinks ignored. Not good enough. The only reason not scored lower is that one of the starters abd two of the deserts were good.
The food was so lovely, I’ve got cravings for it now!
The Ivy and their team never let you down.
Well worth the hour journey
Our afternoon tea was too many items for the small table, the food arrived but we waited another 10 minutes fir tea/champagne, I feel more savoury items are needed in the afternoon tea. We asked fir the afternoon tea and the waitress said breakfast tea, so we said no afternoon tea please and she replied it doesn’t matter they are both the same (they are not) we did have a nice time but wasn’t up to your usual standard
First time at the Ivy at Cambridge, took our friend for her seventh Birthday. We all agreed one of the best restaurants , we have been to in years.
Will definitely go back.
The food was nice and the service was very friendly and efficient, no complaints there, but for the second time we’ve been it was full of flies - around 10 on the ceiling immediately above us. They were very keen to share our meal. Shame because we love the place.
Just love The Ivy! Always stylish with a diverse menu, lovely well-trained attentive staff, and gorgeous food. Even the loos are fabulous! I've travelled the world and eaten in just about every class and type of restaurant you can imagine but I can't fault this place. I always have an enjoyable experience here and come away happy. While it's certainly not the cheapest, it's definitely great value for money. Enjoy!
Lovely experience, we will return! Thanks to all the staff
Had the full English breakfast and found the sausage was raw! As did my 2 friends.
No apology, but staff offered to bring me a fresh breakfast and my friends sides of sausage due to them having almost finished their entire meal.
2 sides of sausage and a “fresh” breakfast arrived. Sausages piping hot and the rest of my breakfast items seemingly kept warm from the first serving.
When the bill arrived we had been charged for the 2 sides of sausage!
Second poor experience in as many visits.
Very good first impression. Will go again.
Delicious food but the service is the best. Thanks so much!
Very nice venue but the service was a bit off: too long to wait for initial drinks and then a bit rushed. Don’t get me wrong it was still a great night and we will certainly come again but just a bit off on the night.
Food and drinks were amazing, service was brilliant and all so friendly and welcoming. They even added a special touch to help us celebrate our anniversary.
The food and the venue was amazing well worth a visit
Booked for my sisters 40th birthday. She had never been before and was blown away by the food, decor and general feel of the place. Lovely evening had by all. Many thanks
The service was so quick and amazing! Food was delicious and the vibe of the restaurant is lovely
