    I was pretty disappointed with the experience. We previously came a couple of years ago and it’s definitely gone down hill since the . The food was average - moderate pub standard - my sirloin steak was supposed to be medium rare and was definitely medium and not a particularly great cut. The service was OK but especially considering that it was my wife’s birthday, we weren’t particularly well looked after. Pretty poor sorry.

    Nice food although dissapointed that ‘discretionary’ 12.5% service charge was added to our bill, and then got informed we had underpaid despite paying 10% service charge. We had decided to pay less as we were informed to leave our table, despite restaurant not looking that busy (we had been to Giggling Squid a few weeks ago and it was much busier and was not told to leave our table). I find some of the waitressing staff a bit pretentious, but our waiter was absolutely amazing though. Not sure about the decor or outfits.

    We were welcomed by a friendly member of staff and taken to our table and seated upstairs as requested. Our server was very polite, attentative and professional. All staff were very smartly dressed. Our food arrived which was of high quality presented lovely and hot. We were a table of two and we never felt rushed and all timings of food being delivered was just right. I would definitely visit again.
