Great to be back !
Good as always
Yellowfin carpaccio was divine
Very disappointing overpriced food. The restaurant staff were completely ignoring all safety guidelines. No masks no social distancing. Very uncomfortable being there. No attempt to use sanitiser or wash hands at all. If you value your health don’t go! If you want good food at a fair price try almost any other restaurant in the locality.
This was our first time eating out since the pandemic started, and we had an amazing night! The food is really good (and affordable) and the decor, atmosphere and the service was great. It was our wedding anniversary, so they gave us a little treat as a desert, which was a nice gesture. Definitely want to come back soon.
exceptional garden to dine in . The service was average , the steak arrived fridge cold in the middle . Sadly the food would not make this restaurant a first choice . Perhaps being the first few days after lock down was a reason for the poor service and food .
Will try the food on another occasion .
A lovely meal. They managed the covid restrictions brilliantly. The tables being set a little further apart was very pleasant! I had pre booked a birthday treat for my husband, which they forgot, but this is a small thing in the midst of other challenges they are managing.
Wow! Best birthday lunch ever. Only two days after opening post lockdown, and everyone at The Ivy made us feel so welcome and comfortable - despite the measures they'd put in place to make sure everyone is safe. Super professional, and the food was excellent as always.
The garden outside was outstandingly besutoful, the table inside was the usual ivy setting.
End of lockdown.
Better than expected in these coronavirus times. Excellent service.
I heard alot bout the ivy garden, and it was my first visit to them.
I must say it was very pleasent, food and service was excellent. I would really recommend and will definaltey consider to go again
Lovely Birthday lunch at the Ivy. Our waitress was brilliant and food as good as ever. We sat in the Garden which felt safe but still had a great atmosphere. Obviously it was strange to be out again but it was nice to do it here.
Sunday lunch - great variety. Got a table in the garden it was beautiful!
Service was the best I’ve ever had at the ivy. Really impressed!
A must visit... The Ivy Chelsea never disappoints!
Had to ask for the same thing multiple times! By the time I had received my food everyone else had finished
Glad to be back to one of our favourite place in SW.
Loved the experience from start to finish. Despite it being the first dinner back since lockdown, it was such a gorgeous atmosphere. The staff were so attentive and the food was b-e-a-udiful. I had an off-menu spicy margarita and it arrived with little chilli horns!
It was the perfect place to celebrate the opening of restaurants after lock down. We had a table out in the garden with a beautiful view. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was great. Can't wait to go back again in a couple of weeks.
the first day back opening after lockdown and I couldnt wait to dine at the ivy my favourite place. the food was absolutely amazing everything was so full of flavour. the service was a little bit slow unfortunately and we had to wait around 15 minutes for someone to come and take our drink order but the place was very busy so this is understandable. cannot wait to return :)
Excellent food and the atmosphere and restaurant decor are fabulous. Beautiful venue, and staff are very attentive
First post lockdown meal and it was lovely!
Overall very good -
The restaurant had worked hard to ensure that you felt the social distancing and H&S measures were being adhered to whilst maintaining a great atmosphere. We had a brilliant time and we will back again soon!!!
First restaurant meal post lockdown and what a joy to have a sense of normal life - loved it !!!
Nice place for romantic dinner or fashionable brunch with your friends!
Gréât wait to reopen and the new measures were very discretely introduced. Fantastic service and welcome.
We went here twice during our recent visit to London b/c our daughter loved it so much! Highly recommend for a special occasion or afternoon tea! BEAUTIFUL Atmosphere.
Fantastic food and service.
We will definitely come back again!
Really lovely staff , food arrived very quickly and lovely atmosphere . Will be returning for sure
Service was overly hasty, indeed rushed, at first - even though the place was pretty empty. Wine glasses were overfilled with irritating regularity and when we asked for this to stop the waiter then disappeared altogether.
The food was disappointing: crispy duck was so 'crispy' as to be tooth shattering, the ribeye steak was over done (I had asked for medium rare) and any establishment offering a wine at £4400 a bottle and then serving pre-cooked frozen chips should be ashamed. To finish, we were treated to nearly cold espresso coffee. Not much to shout about here!
Despite the obvious problems in the news, we had a wonderful time and my husband really enjoyed his birthday
Great food, great atmosphere!
Really nice place. The food was not quite as good as we expected.
Outstanding service and good food! the flower decoration outside was stunning!!
Lovely setting, really beautifully decorated. Great staff, very professional. Most of the food was excellent - a tiny whinge about the chips being a bit overcooked, but otherwise really good. Not bad value - we had the daytime menu.
The Ivy on Kings Rd never disappoints. It has a lovely ambience and the food and service are excellent.
İt was very nice venue nice food but expensive
But overall it was good and friendly staff service
We LOVED it and my daughter is begging to return for Tea; just an absolutely beautiful restaurant with great food and service
Delicious food served impeccably in light, verdant and comfortable setting. Service throughout was fantastic and walked the fine balance between attentive and relaxed, always there when needed.
Salad starters were moderate to good: Jackfruit & Peanut Bangbang salad was good, but not wow & Crispy Duck salad was good.
Mains were generous and excellent examples with robust flavour combinations: Salmon&Haddock fishcake with soft gooey poached egg and tasty caper sauce. Chicken Milanese was juicy meat encased in crispy brioche crumb accompanied by a punchy minty, rockety herb salad and green mayonnaise.
Water ice cold, cocktails well mixed and cappuccino's above par. Great little lunch in a accommodating atmosphere. Will come again soon.
